I drive all the way from Gooderham to Fenelon Falls for organic produce because I know I'll find the produce I require for my efforts to detox my body by juicing a large range of fruit/veggies. Actually I sample the other grocery stores while waiting for the farmers' markets to open for the season. Sobeys does a good job of offering produce from locals as well as packaged name brands.

In this store, there are a lot of very good deals and the prices of the items are pretty good. They have a good meat selection and good seafood. The staff that work there are all very nice all the time and make my shopping trip excellent. The eggs are just exquisite and are perfectly packaged. They have a fine selection of many everyday condiments including ketchup, mustard and relish. As well as many flavours of pickles from dill to sweet. They also sell a wide variety of toilet paper. This is just my opinion but trust me in saying that this place is superb. ????

Clean store, friendly staff and an owner that cares about your experience. If you’re new to the area, be forewarned, the cottagers are coming [it’s going to get crazy soon!] so the store will be packed a lot of the times. I’ve honestly never had a bad experience here. When they were out of a soy butter, the owner gave my dad one from his desk. The owner can be seen periodically walking around, he’s very nice. Just remember that if you are buying alcohol, to look at the cashier’s flag to see where you can pay for them. This isn’t done to spite you [as a customer at another establishment claimed] it’s because the cashier isn’t of age to drink and there for cannot ring through your alcohol [at least that is my assumption].

Nice store, however I found the staff unhelpful when looking for a product. As 2 were talking and I walked up they continued. I waited patiently for help as they looked at me a few times but ignored me. When I asked for what I couldn't find I was dismissed with a maybe over there... Usually people in Sobeys are way more helpful and not rude like these 2 were. Also when we entered the store only needing one item we were told we each needed to take a cart. I explained we only wanted 1 item but we're told we had to take a cart. I don't understand this as it would make more work for them to disinfect? I get covid policies but this made no sense at all.

One of the best Sobeys we have been to. It’s a little shocking considering Fenelon is such a small town. The fruit and vegetable area is their strength in the summer and it’s unique to find so many live lobsters. Recommend the butcher made sausage!

As usual with Sobeys, beautiful inside and great selection. *Had to edit this review though. We were treated so poorly by some staff last night on our visit, it was appalling. And to hear that same staff doing what appeared to be trash talking about customers right in front of us was disgusting. Unfortunately, even though I like the store, my family and I will not be returning. It's sad. They have some very friendly staff. But the bad apples ruin the bunch.

My wife and I visited Sobey's in Fenelon Falls today. The management needs to get on top of COVID protocols. I observed three staff members not wearing theirs masks properly, one in the produce department, one on the main cash desk and another on a check out. Wearing masks with out covering your nose is useless.

This is a very nice Sobeys with decent prices and a good parking lot. I wish there was a little more variety in the hot food section, but otherwise the ready salad section is pretty good. The fruits and vegetables are very fresh and there are sales and deals all the time. Lots of dessert and bakery options as well. The cashiers are nice and helpful all the time.

I love going to the Sobeys there. There is a huge variety of meals ready to eat, pizza ready to cook, giant sandwiches made out of whole loaves of fresh baked bread, Chinese food, sushi... Even Greek I think. And that's just the cooked stuff. There is what's fresh produce, the milk always has good dates, and when I was there today they had a bunch of buy one get one free deals. All in all this is a really great Sobeys in a really nice town. Highly Recommended.

Not at all happy! Cashier was 'way too slow for the Service Desk. Customer in front of me had one item - meatballs from Deli - they were hot when chosen, but I'm certain they'd be lukewarm by the time he paid for them. The wait was inexcusable and with nary a "thank you for your patience." I had to bag my own although I had placed my bag on the belt with my groceries. Sorry, but worth the drive to Lindsay to shop.

Great big beautiful store, with great big prices. Very expensive store, I use Sobeys (Fenelon Falls) as a "oh damn I forgot it at my regular grocery store, gotta run in and get that" kinda place. I could never afford to shop for my family there on a weekly basis. For good quality healthy foods, like fresh fruits and vegetables, too expensive. But it's a nice store, lots of free parking, free carts -- no stick your quarter/loonie in the thing to get one out, lovely quality produce/fruit, bakery and deli, also has take out food that is prepared there.

I recieved absolutely terrible service today. Waited forever in the line up due to people getting rainchecks, then it was a shift change as soon as they got to me, but something went wrong, so she came back and put me through. But the advertised price on the cream cheese I bought wasn't given to me and instead of checking it, she just said it wasn't on sale. I left everything there and walked out. This whole experience cost me a half hour of my life. Not that itself was a big deal, but there was only one person ahead of me in the line.

Good products but pricey. Not much in the way of sales. Whenever something is on sale. They never have enough. Any time I go for a sale item like beef ribs yesterday. Sold out. Always the same. I no longer drive 25 minutes to get a Sobeys sale. I saw what I thought to be rediculous. A I would say 60-65 year old man in front of me in line paying for his groceries. About $150 . He had a 6 pack of beer and they made him search through his wallet to find ID to purchase the beer. That is too much.

Sobeys will only pack your groceries in their own bags, if you bring in bags of your own, they won’t help you pack them which is hard for me, because I am a senior. I don’t like paying for bags. But..other than that they are usually very cheerful & helpful. Last year they delivered, so it was wonderful, & we really were appreciative, but I don’t think they are going to do that this year., which is disappointing.

Always a good visit. Lots to choose from. Prices aren't bad. Fresh veggies, delicious and bakery is amazing. Bice fresh cuts of meat and I'm picky. My fav place to shop. Open late couldn't ask for more. Mark is amazing.

Just back from your Fenelon Falls Ontario,Store. An impressive operation, good selection, shelves well " Faced", competitive pricing. Too bad these positive qualities are some what off set by an unfriendly staff. Other than the lady who checked us out, who was superb, no employees I encountered seemed prepared to even acknowledge me as a customer. I walked around the store several times, met a number of employees and not one said . good morning or even smiled. Also there were three checkouts open- one for 8 items or less- plus one at the side. When this latter clerk didn't have any customers she did not beckon people in the lines to come to her. She just stood there and waited. Suggest you send some of your people to visit any Publix store in the U.S. to pick up some pointers on customer service. You have a great store- suggest you enhance the customer service to match.
