This little shop has been part of our cottage tradition for close to 18 years if not more ! If you had the nerve to show up to the cottage without butter tarts or olives you ran the risk of being disowned . The owners have always been overly nice and accommodating and genuine . I Was super relieved to see they had done well throughout covid and continue to provide lasting memories for our family.

We love this place. The owners are amazingly friendly and the food....AMAZING. She makes an incredible gluten free hazelnut torte. My family loves the fruit tarts and my husband loves all the stuffed olives and peppers. Truly a great stop on 45. Thank you for the delicious desserts and food. I've also heard from my dad they have great sandwiches, I haven't tried them but I'm sure he's right.

I love this little store! If you love stuffed olives and cheese, you will love this place. They have a lot to touristy stuffs as well. The prices are really good compared to other roadside novelty stores.

This place is an amazing treasure on Monck Road... the best pastry around - you must try their Buttertarts and Fruit tarts. Good cafe to go with those sweets. Also great place to pick up cheese, their famous stuffed olives ( blue cheese + walnut, lemon + vodka etc :) ), chicken + beef pot pies. Summer season, there is fresh produce , grown by their son Aden. You buy annual shares in weekly fresh produce! This friendly place has a lot of character and a lot to offer for your ride, pantry or treats back to the City. This is THE PLACE! Great coffee, baked goods(oh, the fruit tarts, butter tarts and fruit muffins!), organic produce and meat, and funky gifts. It sparks memories of the roadside shops we'd stop at when I was vacationing as a kid. Super friendly owners and staff. I feel like family here.
