Love this place. Real meat and reasonable prices. Dog food a but pricey for what it really contains. Very accommodating and the guys are always friendly. When I order a meat package (very economical ) they are happy to wrap pieces individually. Other places won't do that or they charge extra??? Saves me a lot of time repackaging my meat in serving sizes (I live alone) and it is much better preserved in their wrap than what I can do.

Has some of the bare bones to be great.....Meat is of decent quality, however at the top end of the price scale. Store is closed unexpectedly on several occasions over the most recent past. Assortment is hit or miss at best. Service is not great, needs someone who understands marketing and retail sales/service.

The liver I purchased is overpriced, I can get it for almost a third of the price elsewhere. On their website there was a picture for 100% grass fed beef, but when I went to purchase I was told it was grain finished. The meat itself was tasty, but expensive. Also, both employees didn't wear masks. Big no-no.

Best butcher in Durham region. Lots of basic stuff like beef, steak etc, also some prepared items like the chicken with spinach and feta wrapped in bacon. Tenderloins are cut to order and are excellent. There's also real bacon, sausage etc. There are a few specialty items in the freezer too... one of the few places you can get pickerel.

Nice family run meat shop in Durham Region. Very clean. Great selection of cuts as well as specialty meats. If you are looking to pick up something for those summer barbecues or need a fresh turkey for that holiday event this is the place. Also a very nice selection of groceries, sauces and rubs. I give this meat shop 4 stars.

Kyles Meat is my favourite butcher! Whether I smoke brisket, ribs or pork, bbq or need meat specially thinly sliced for raclette or fondue: Kyles is my go to place!!! All staff is super accommodating and knowledgeable!!! The quality of the meats is outstanding! If you love good meat, this place is a must!

Great place so far. I picked up some wings, so meaty and soon good. Probably the best wings I've had from anybody in the area. I love that he was very easy to talk to and good advice on cooking. I will definitely be back.

Went into the store for the first time. The owner/worker wasn’t wearing a mask, wasn’t wearing gloves and had no protective shield up between the food counter or payment area which you stand less than 6 feet from each other. So on top of not following protocol, when I got home to see the expensive “quality meat”, it was rancid! The chicken smelt horrible and the beef was already brown and smelly. I couldn’t serve this to my baby and family. I threw $50+ down the drain and will never return. Helenda’s meat is just around the corner and had everything in order and was cheaper too.

Fresh and excellent quality/variety on both meat and other products including gluten free items. Open 7 days a week regardless of what Google states. Service is super friendly and well always informed. Never had a bad experience.

Took a chance on this place with a very large order, but I wasn't impressed. I was given a competitive quote compared to another place, but it ended up costing noticeably (15%) more. Quoting low is only good for the business. Quoting high then bringing down the final cost would make a customer for life. Too short sighted. Lastly, the quality was OK, but wasn't better than other places.

The older lady who works here seems MISERABLE! This place has incredible meat yes. But the customer service you receive from the lady the moment you walk through the door is awful. I remember when Kyle's Meats first opened and the entire experience was always superb! The first time this lady helped me I thought maybe she was having a bad day, it happens... but then there was a second, and a third, and eventually I realized it was her poor attitude.

This place is nice, good quaility meat. Unfortunately the lady who works there is very incredibly rude and won’t even ask you what you would like. For a locally run business they should focus a little more on making the customers feel welcome and less like they are a burden

Get your beef and a side of COVID-19 Went in today to place an order and saw a customer walking out without a mask on even though there was a 'Must Wear Mask' sign on the door. Both people behind the counter weren't wearing masks. When I asked if they were following mask mandate I got a non-committal shrug from the dude behind the counter. I promptly left right after and will not be giving my business to a place like that. Go somewhere else, they don't care about you or your family and think that a pandemic is worth a non-committal shrug.

Been here twice and I was never greeted either time by even one staff member out of 5! Only a little girl behind the cash responded when I said hello! Staff kept asking what did you want after I repeated my order several times. Also was responded to in a negative way when asking what was in each type of chicken as if I was supposed to know already!? Walked out paying 80 dollars no thanks never again!

Staff not wearing a mask...not friendly at all..asked for a Beef Brisket and got at least 1 pound of fat...he wrapped it up really quickly and I only noticed it when I got home. not impressed at all..first time there and last one. ...especially in this covid-19 situation....they should try to keep a better reputation...

Bought wings from kyles meat today from the front of the store they then took it to the back of the store. Once returned they wrapped the wings in the front of the store. I got home and opened the wings and realized the wings were switched with rotten wings. I had to return from oshawa to bowmanville to confront the workers and when they saw me and i informed them it was rotten they immediately gave me a new one and said "this is the fresh one". I no longer trust them and took a refund instead.

Visited Kyle's yesterday, I've been browsing around for a new butcher who can do freezer orders. He seems to have a nice assortment of options at comparable prices for quality meats. We picked up a few fresh things to try before we commit to a full order. One of which was ribeye steak, he offered to season them for me which was fantastic and they grilled up perfectly. I see a freezer order in our future. It's easy to support local business when it's like this.
