Lovely owner, I assume it was Maggie. Didn't buy much on the meat front but the prepared salads are a nice touch. I really enjoyed the slaw. The potato salad was a bit lacking but it's vegan and I prefer egg in mine. Double thumbs up from my son on his Angus burger. This is a great spot to hit up if you don't want to slog into Haliburton and I'm very confident it has better meat vs what you would find in Kinmount.

Everything we had was really good. We had honey garlic sausage, lamb and burgers. Also there is a good selection of frozen meat. You can find freshly baked bread, salads, some vegetables for a BBQ such as mushrooms, potatoes, tomatoes as well.

Maggie and Terry combine their personal charm with quality meats and veg, from the fresh lamb, Angus beef, ready to BBQ skewers, and vegan salad, but my favorite is the chipotle flat chicken!

This is one of the finest butcher shops in Canada. The shop is operated by a lovely couple named Maggie and Terry. People drive from hours away for their famous sausages and quality meats. I really appreciate their devotion to cleanliness and food safety. They are always happy to accommodate special requests , as well as taking orders ahead of time, so on your way to the cottage you are in and out fast. I have been a satisfied customer of theirs for seven years now. They are honest, trustworthy and I recommend them to everyone.

What a gem! My boyfriend and I were headed down the highway from one cottage to another and were pleasantly surprised to find this little butcher shop. We had just been discussing the poor selection and overall not so fresh looking meats at most major grocery stores. We got some nice t-bones and fantastic smoked pork loin. Can't wait to try it!

Maggie and Terry have the best meat I have ever put on a BBQ. Their steaks melt in your mouth, the back ribs are the best I have eaten. The flattened chickens are so good, I have to take them to my daughter in Toronto!
