I visited the Halenda's location on Nelson Street. The staff were very friendly. The sausages I bought were awesome! They are observing the Covid-19 protocols very well for our safety as well as that of their staff.

One of my favourite places to go for lunch. Very consistent food. Except... cookie prices vary day to day. Today 2 oatmeal cookies cost 2.99. Depends on the day and the worker the cost of the cookies

This location has no problem selling spoiled meat. The chicken breast I purchased at 4:00PM was sticky and foul by 6:00PM. This has happened twice now, and I will no longer trust Halenda's for my meats.

I ordered a freezer pack and I was so disappointed!! My chicken was missing a wing and a leg, none of the packages had the dates they were packaged and the ground beef, sausages and chicken had nothing written on them at all. I was just so disappointed. I have bought a lot from them for my smoker including big briskets. I let them know I was disappointed, they said they'd call and I'm still waiting.... I want to get a pack for my inlaws but I'm definitely going with someone else.

Paid for meat. They forgot to put it in my bag. Didnt notice until i got home and called..Now they are saying i didnt pay for them...and all i have is my debit receipt. I paid 38$ for pork chops and buns ?? Seems expensive for buns since the pork chop bag reads 13$ And that price didn't include the sausages?? When i called they insisted i didnt pay and wouldnt listen to my charges ... just gave up hung up and left review.

Very disappointed finding out halenda's has open a big production facility, that explains why the quality of the natural kolbassa has gone down hill so much. Unfortunately when companies start mass production they throw their quality out the window. Luckily they have great service, but unfortunately with them giving up the quality for greed is what usually ruins businesses.

Such a friendly group of staff!!! All their meat is great but i think the pork is best!!! Try the breakfast bacon. Its so thick and yummy you only eat 2 pcs. Where the grocery store stuff you can eat and most of it fat. Their hot lunch items are swesome and amazingly priced.

My name is Fred, I have looked for your flyers for two weeks now but there hasn’t been any. I went into the store at Kingsway plaza today to see if there was any sales. There was five people working in the store that I could see and only three costumer including myself. One of the employees asked if I needed help, I asked her way was nothing on sale as I am a frequent customer and did not see anything on sale. She told me that because they didn’t want anyone to stock up on stuff and that they were just crazy over the last two weeks. I bought a few things then went to the til and the same employee came to ring me out. I told her that if what they wanted was to only have three costumes in the store for five employees, then no sales or flyers must be working. I also think it might be someone thinking you don’t need sales or flyers to sell at full prices to take advantage of the virus outbreak. It might just be a good way to lose some regular costumes.

We ordered a turkey from the Whitby store and they cut it into pieces for us when my husband picked it up. I can't tell you how much that helped. And it sounds like the place was VERY busy at the time. Their customer service consistently goes above and beyond. Good quality meats and wonderful staff.

Bought a couple of strip loin steaks for $33. I figured I was getting a Cadillac but I ended up with a Skoda. I cooked the steaks to perfection, a perfect medium rare, and they were so tough and gristly nobody enjoyed them. Seriously disappointed in the quality of this meat it was no better than what you get for 1/3 of the price at No Frills. Totally ruined a special occasion.
