Went in for the first time on a friends recommendation but the fresh chicken was amazing and they cut it for your as you want it! Just like you would get back home! Even people at the meat counter were great to talk to! All in all a great south asian store right in the centre of Oshawa!

Great Place and great people. Very easy to deal with. I never had any issue. Mir Bhai and Abdullah Bhai ( In Punjabi: Tussi Great Ho ). I had to return my lamb meat once because of the smell, they happily took it back after checking with their supplier. I have seen individuals arguing with Mir Bhai and Abdullah Bhai but they kept positive. I understand sometimes it can frustrated but keep in mind they are serving a big community of North Oshawa. They are honest people.

Highly recommend for people who stay in Durham region and like Goat meat to get from here. They charge 2-3 dollars more per pound than other places but the Goat meat is the best so far in comparison to many other stores that I have tried in the GTA. Also I would recommend trying out their marinated Chicken Keema. They use their own spices and comes out very tasty when you grill or fry them. The folks who run this place are also very friendly and polite while dealing with customers. The only feedback that I have for them is that I wish they would be able to give smaller portions of goat meat in the range of 2-3 pounds as I don't like to buy too much and store it in my freezer.

Pros: 1) Has many many niche halal options that one might need. And the owners are nice enough to restock on the products that their regular customers request. 2) The only halal mart in North Oshawa. 3) They have fresh meat and are able to handle all your Eid requests. Cons: 1) Wish they had more products but I understand they're limited by the shop size.

Came in today to buy a spice that was hard to find, and also picked up some henna. The staff were very friendly and helped me find what I needed quite quickly. The store is really crowded and a little untidy, but it didn't bother me much. I would definitely return for more items, I saw some thing I'd like to pick up next time.

Delicious chicken shawarma! So tasty I couldn't believe it. Plus, reasonably priced for the size of it, it was so big that it equalled a two time meal for me. The bread options for the shawarma is good, I haven't seen in other shawarma places. Normally, it's just the one regular bread you get. To add to this amazement, the quantity of meat and other things like tomatoes, onions, etc was very good, they don't cheap out. The only complait I have is for the internal environment. Make it a bit fancy so you can feel comfortable dining in, right now, although there in the option of dine in, it'd be better to take out. I am thinking of definitely trying out other meals such as the shawarma plate, etc.

They don’t respect customers I ordered chicken big order before from the owner directly and he lied to me every time he said I’ll call you when he has my order that was long time. Then I go and buy another stuff as I like to support small halal business but when I asked about what I usually get from them they don’t have it they said tomorrow i went there next day they said tomorrow I went for whole week like every day they just lie to me every time. I won’t ever go there again I rather go to 100 km far than buy anything from them. Disappointed

The best and freshest meats I've purchased. Even their marinated meats are so damn delicious. I recommend the lamb chops and beef cubes with fry chop marination. I've entertained 3 groups of fairly large crowds this summer and everyone loved the marinated meats.

The owner is a fraud, everything is overpriced, the meat smell funky, and sometimes they sell rotten meat for costumers. Oh god, you guys are so honest for fooling costumers and selling them rotting beef and smelly rotten chicken qema. In addition I bought a boneless chicken breast, it's colour is weird and it smell rotten like it was left in the fredgarator for a long time. Brother, how do you accept living with dishonesty. The sign says "quality matters” Please understand what quality matters means. Plus, I’m surprised that your place is not shut down. You’re making people sick by selling rotten meat and chicken. I don’t know how you’re living with yourself by lying to costumers by telling that the meat you sell is tender and fresh. Allow to correct it, your meat is tough and rotten.

I wish I could give 0 stars for this place. I went to this place based on the reviews to get some fresh chicken for my wife's birthday last month. The guy in the meat section said the goat is fresh and sweet talked me to get 45$ worth of goat meat. After I cooked the meat, it is smelly, the bones are powdery and inedible. We had to throw the entire birthday meal out after we realized the goat meat must be from a DISEASED GOAT (goat must have had some DISEASE) since the bones have a porous texture and has a weird smell and texture. I was cheated into buying something that I don't even want in the first place and ruined my wife's birthday. They are Unreliable and untrustworthy.

Two brothers own this variety store. Very nice people and they like to help customers with grocery needs. Most of the times they toss in candies/treats for the kids in the bags as a courtesy gesture. Meat is always up to the mark. Meat arrivals are Wednesdays and Saturdays. I've observed new products and items on shelves especially the new Shan lentils. Must try. :)
