Recently discovered this shop and they gave us every meat piece we needed with recommendations, they cut and grinder it fresh for us and even gave us recipe suggestions! Owned by a Ukrainian family, I went in with my Ukrainian boyfriend and they had so many things that brought him to his childhood, very sweet experience and will be going back again. The meat turned out FANTASTIC too! This is the borsch I made

For the second time, we go to this shop and it is closed. I guess they can do what they want as they have their customer base. At this location, they could not be bothered to put up a big sign saying closed. So we had to park in the back and walk forward to see closed. Otherwise we could just drive by. We will shop else where now.

Been comming to Buckingham Meat Market for the last 9 years. Always friendly and helpful staff. Fresh seasoned meat and frozen game meat. Also a wide selection of seasonings and sauces. Although I no longer eat meat I buy mostly elk and bison meat for family members in other cities. Also exotic meats like camel, ostrich, emu, kangaroo, alligator and wild boar can be found in the freezer at times. They have fresh fruit, vegetables and samosas so plant lovers like myself are also happy.

It's a friendly old school establishment. We tried the meat product out a few times. The first few times were great, and than we got sick twice, so we decided not to purchase meat from there anymore. They do have good produce, bread and carry various flavours of Kawartha Diary ice cream.

I ADORE Buckingham's so a slightly biased review here !!! My two favourites are their beef and the gorgeous saddle lamb chops. The staff are fun and cannot do enough for you. Plus it reminds of the butcher's at the cottage. The lovely smell when you walk in plus just about everything you need to make an absolutely wonderful dinner. From fish to condiments to fresh veg to baking supplies to chocolate to cheese. To say nothing about their superb meats. Please go and be both surprised and delighted

One of the best parts of living in Central Oshawa is the ability to walk to Buckingham's to buy something fresh for dinner. The meat is top-notch and the staff are even better. You will pay more than you would in a grocery store but you are getting a superior cut of meat. My favourites include the Jerk Chicken Breasts, the Feta and Spinach stuffed chicken, the Flank steak and the Pulled Pork.

My family has been going to Buckingham for generations. It is the best place to go not only for their amazingly warm service, but their meat is second to none with lots of options to customize for size and cut. We always preorder our turkeys and Ham's for special occasions, they are so good and have become expected in our family!! Their cheese selection is fantastic and we regularly try out their many BBQ sauces. I find they are also priced very fairly! We honestly don't buy our meats anywhere else.
