We've been passing by for several years and decided to stop in last weekend and purchased some sausage and a rib steak. We enjoyed the taste and quality so much we returned today to stock up on sausages (mild Italian, Bratwurst, honey garlic and Chirizo) for a family reunion tomorrow. Great customer service too

Really solid butcher with a helluva selection of incredibly delicious sausages. New addition to incorporate fresh breads, standard veg and cheeses is well received. Called ahead for specialty items like chicken thighs and pork ribs - but always a vast selection of red meat, chicken breasts and bacon.

I stop in here from time to time but often can't make it from work before they close. I am a bit disappointed with my purchase today though as the wrong price was listed on the tray I chose from (4.99lb) and I actually paid 7.99 EA - I definitely wouldn't have chosen that item if it was priced correctly. I didn't realize until I had already paid that the price seemed very high...oh well.

We had a heritage beef cow butchered here. Asked to keep its horns. They told us the inspector wouldn't let them. I followed up with the inspector. They had a different story. Wonder where those beautiful horns are now? I don't trust them and we won't be going back.

im sorry, but absolutely disappointing. cost for my order was ridiculously high for what I received. My kobassa was pre frozen tasted freezer burn dried out supper disappointed. Not worth $35. tried the lamb disappointed in the flavor, what flavor. tried the bacon flavorless as well. winner of my order was the 6 pepperettes. disappointed in the service as well, communication was very little did not even get a confirmation to my on line order. "I recommend Farm Boy" better prices and lots of flavor in their foods, fantastic customer service.

Awesome! Competitive price, great product! I bought a split side cow last week, the day we got it I made a killer spaghetti sauce; I noticed while frying the burger that it was perfect, not too lean but not too fatty and it tasted awesome! I barbecued 3 steaks this evening, medium rare and OMG!!!! I'm going back for another split side as soon as I have room in the freezer! Thanks Joe, it was a pleasure doing business with you! Vince

We've been a loyal customer to Joe for six years now, getting each year a quarter of beef and plenty of sausages. They are so delicious! We moved to Ottawa two years ago and I still drive there once a year to pick up the meat. It's worth the drive, believe me. And we will be doing this for many years to come until probably Joe retires ????

I ordered fresh kidneys from and was told to pick them up on a certain date and time. When I went to pick them up the gal who I had spoke to earlier and told me to pick them up said they wouldn't have them til another day. She had my contact info and could have saved me a special trip by simply calling me but she didn't. That showed a lack of respect for their customers. I haven't been back since.

Was there again today, initially came in for the Peameal on sale. Decided to grab stuff for my hot Italian sausage and penne. Oh my, I forgot what a difference it makes to have the real stuff. Love this place, extremely clean, staff are second to none, and quality is top notch. My go to butcher shop. PS, the pies and tarts are awesome as well. Support our local little guys, give this place a shot, I highly recommend it.
