Visited tonight and made a take-out order. Busy place but the waitress told us it would be a 15 minute wait for our food. We ordered a burger and specified it had to be gluten and dairy free, which the waitress double checked for us. When we got our order 35 minutes later we got home to just the inside of the burger with no bun (???) and cheese on one of our dishes we specifically requested without. Basically got 2/3rds of the order wrong and we spent a lot of time waiting. Wouldn't recommend if you have special dietary needs and you would rather take to-go than be in a restaurant during a pandemic.

Good beer. 2 stars for asking us to scan a qr code they knew doesn't work. I offered them a corrected one and they admitted the problem has been around for a while. Do better guys. Attached is a qr code that won't waste your time.

The wait was a little long. The Nachos are very big and very very good! Wings tasted good. we got a a flight of beer and were happy with all of them. Service wasn't the best but very friendly staff.

Decent pub food at a reasonable price. Great atmosphere, a fun place to get together with friends. Their beer however is the main reason I stop at this place every time I'm in town, just awesome stuff. I recommend trying the sampler to get an idea of all of their styles.

Roasted cauliflower on a bed of hummus and a side of what they said was naan but was actually pita + BC salmon over barley grains were amazing. Brewer’s salad was simple and nothing to write home about. Also ordered the draft beers - Babe Blueberry Vanilla ale (loved it) and the Rosehip Séance Saison.

Very bad food with high pricing . Fish & chips has no seasoning on the fish or the batter. The brisket and sausage was a joke. The brisket was so dry , but they did try to put more sauce on it to make it looks juicy but as u cut into the meat, it is very dry. Overall bad experience

The "Ninjas" are delicious! We tried the flight but weren't big fans of the beer selection...however, the "Blackeye Blueberry Vanilla Ale" was quite unique and grew on me as I drank more of it. The "Indie Summer" cocktail was also quite tasty. Thank you, #Albeerta!

Had a great experience today. Service was amazing (didn’t catch our waitresses name, but she did a great job). The Jerry burger’s bacon jam was sooo good. This is the first time we’ve eaten inside a restaurant in 18 months. We felt very safe.

Really enjoyed sitting on their street side patio!!????????️???? Had sunshine for our whole meal ???? I tried their Gluten Free Pilsner ????and it was good however my wife ordered the Mr. Reynolds ????and it was $12 for a 2oz drink. It arrived as full as pictured in our photo. We felt it was not full enough but did not get a opportunity to tell our server. We had the Classic and Jerry Burgers ???? I thought they were both tasty ???? and would recommend the Jerry to a hungry human!

This place is a MUST if you are in Jasper for any amount of time. My friend and I were in the area for four days and went back more than once. The drink selection is great and the food is as well. I had the veggie burger and it was one of the best I've had. The blueberry beer was my favorite.

When asked if we could change table to outdoors, waiter advised it was “highly discouraged” but did we want to ask anyway. We said yes. Within 30 secs the waiter returned and said the answer was an absolute no as the food order had been out in. Not sure what that meant as our waiter was serving inside and out. Based on this experience I would not return

The best pilsner I've had anywhere. It was light, fruity and refreshing. The salt and pepper chicken wings were OK, my burger was delicious, my wife and I liked her Ruben and the chicken fingers and fries my daughter had were actually really good! A must go to spot.

Super casual, bit noisy, very popular pub. The staff is friendly, and the service was good. Our food was fresh, and delicious, and the prices were very reasonable, if not even on the bargain side compared to most places in the neighbourhood. Definite recommend.

Super slow service with tasteless food. Chicken in the Chicken burger was hard as a rock , seemed as if it was fried thrice! Ruined our afternoon, after a long wait for inedible food ,we left this place after 2hrs with $40 cheque for just appetizers! A fast food chain would serve you better food any day!

I cannot speak more highly of this brewery. We stumbled upon it on our trek through Canada and had a few of the top rated beers I’ve ever had. The staff and management could not have been more friendly. They gave us recommendations of nearby breweries and the best local hikes. The experience was so phenomenal we bailed on the hike and returned directly to the brewery where the manager Neil gave us a private tour of the facility. After working in craft brewing for 2+ years I cannot stress the level of appreciation I have for this brewery and everyone involved in my personal experiences over the past two days. 10/10 would highly recommend. Try any beer but if the key lime ale is on draft still definitely give it a shot. Also the food is on point. Hit up our boys Bentley or Brad behind the bar and they will hook it up!

Tasty beer, and pretty good food. Service can be hit or miss. The burger is decent, and the salmon lackluster, but both the elk meatloaf and the goat cheesecake are not to be missed.

Service is quick and friendly even when they are very busy. Never left with an empty pint, food is very good pub food and the atmosphere is fantastic. Would recommend that whenever you're in Jasper stop by have a pint, and get a growler to enjoy for later.

Very popular spot but the waiting to have a table does not worth it. Beers are alright (but nothing amazing). Food was very disappointing. Fries look like frozen cheap fries, the burger were so dry and the bun bellow average.

I went to JBC last week to reunite with my boyfriend after not seeing each other for 5 weeks. In all my excitement and after some very tasty bear I forgot my wallet. I didn't notice this until 5 hours and hundreds of kilometres later!! I called them immediate and they had found the wallet and were able to mail it back to me in record time!!! Thank you so much!

Just a bad time. Our server made us feel quite rushed and was extremely cold. I’ve been here before covid and I had a great time so I thought it would be good to come with my group of my friends and it was one of their birthdays. We asked the server if they did anything and was told no, that’s fine but guy was just rude throughout our time there. Save your time and go to earls or jasper pizza place, the service is 1000x better feels more welcoming.

Good nacho's! It was very busy when we were there, a bit tough to find a table. But we were also there on Thanksgiving Monday... My husband didn't much care for the beer he got (which I believe was the Rockhopper). I had a twisted tea from the bottle and it was fine. We had nacho's to share - a bit expensive for one meal, especially since it's listed as an appetizer. It was a lot of nachos too, so for one person to eat, it might be much. We asked for half to be covered with chicken, and the other half without meat which they accommodated just fine...but it's also an additional $6 for meat (on tops of the $21 for the nachos alone...they also charged us for additional salsa and sour cream). Even though it was packed when we were in there- the service was great, our server was very on top of things and quick to bring us food and drinks. He was friendly too. I would go there again (hopefully when it's not too busy!)

Came here with high expectations for food after a long day of hiking. We were hungry and that should have been the best spice for what they offered, but it never reached those heights. First thing that stood out was the service, our waitress never appeared to really take notice of our needs, we asked repeatedly for water and it was finally brought to us by the person who brought us our food. As for the food, the Alberta beef burger was very dry. I don't meant that the burger itself was very lean, no, the entire burger just tasted almost like a dry sandwich. The patty tasted like all of it's juices dried up, the two types of sauces it comes with was literally a light spread, the sesame buns were almost cardboard, and even the veggies somehow tasted dry. Overall the burger didn't taste as well as it looked. Their poutine however was their saving grace, it tasted great after our long day. Everything else though was and will be forgettable.

I can't recommend the Bison Brisket enough, I really didn't want it to ever end. They don't have a huge selection of craft beer, but the beer they have should satisfy every type of beer drinker. Had nice easy going atmosphere, like a sports bar that really doesn't feel like a sports bar.

Great craft beers, average hot wings, pork buns was not really a bun.. more like a ‘cuapao’, poutine has loads of gravy, and worst of their.. their RAMEN. Bruh, it was the most awful ramen I’ve ever tasted in my life. I gave three stars because of their craft beer, got lots of tv, and amazing customer service.

The best nachos, period. They're so good the first time I ate them that I came back the very next day to try them again with the wild boar instead of bacon. The cheese dip is like a high-end luxury cheese dip compared to the pump cheese at 7-eleven. I know, poor comparison but it's definitely something to rave about because the 7-Eleven cheese is gag Worthy, if it even has the right to the title 'cheese'. The two IPAs that I tried were delicious, but I ended up settling on the pilsner. It was light and refreshing. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal both times, if you're looking for a really yummy place to eat you don't want to miss this place! The only thing extra I would rave about was the service. We had two different servers both times they were excellent, they remove plates right away when they were done and they make sure to keep the refreshments topped up. Very friendly, attentive and professional. And while this is totally going to be seem odd in a review but I love the bathroom! That's why I've included a ton of photos of the wallpaper decor, very cool! Five stars!

Jasper brewing company have the best nacho ever! It is massive so more than a few people can have that as a snack. My favourite beer at JBC is vanilla blueberry beer and servers are friendly.

Great place to go for a beer and, if you are lucky, you might have a bear for company as well. Located right on the main (?) street of small (though huge on tourism) town of Jasper , this place is neat! And has a good welcome vibe to it. And, your kids are allowed before 10 pm. So no excuses for not introducing the pub culture to your kids while they are still in nappies ;) Not many thing you can complain about. The staff is great, and the best is that they give you time and ain't in a rush, and don't have that impatient or nervous energy emanating off them, esp when you have kids with you! The food was decent on both the days I was there... I tried the specials the server recommended. Wasn't disappointed. :)

Came here for dinner and enjoyed the chicken burger and a flight of 6 beers. The chicken was exceptionally crispy and I particularly like the fact that the burger bun was a tasty whole grain roll and not one of those pasty white things that sticks to the roof of your mouth. The beer was tasty without being exceptional. The blueberry and vanilla beer is apparently a local favourite, however I could only manage a sip of it. Perhaps it's a Marmite type thing.

My wife and I shared the "Cast Iron Nachos" with added pulled wild boar. It took a long time to eat and was absolutely fantastic! I would definitely suggest ordering them if that is something you'd eat. Usually I can finish my meal and my wife's leftovers in a single sitting, but not with this huge dish, haha. Visited 7/21/19. Although the food and drinks were good, we were very disappointed with customer care. We accidentally left my husband's hat behind after our meal (a wedding gift I gave him with our wedding date embroidered on the back). We realized a few minutes later (no more than 10 minutes) and returned to the restaurant. Our waitress said she moved it to a wood counter near the entrance (rather than the lost and found), but it was no longer there when she checked. They were busy and you could tell she had a lot going on, but it came off as if she didn't care to help despite our just spending $70 there. We left our number in case she found it, but we assume someone just stole if off the counter. Unfortunately, it left a bitter taste in our mouths about Jasper.

Went with a couple friends, ordered the Pesto pasta, two chicken burgers and some appetizers. The food was very disappointing, the chicken was bland and buns were soggy from the watery relish they used. Cesar salad was dry and tasted off and the pasta was very watery and firm. Beer was great price and food was 50% percent off which helped. Wouldn’t go back again but server was very nice.

It was amazing! They have great drink deals and the food was phenomenal. Even though they were crazy busy, the service was fast and friendly! We sat at the bar and Matt helped serve us. We had very good beers and a nachos plate. They serve a cabaret with all their beers (if you like black beers, the "6060" is absolutely delightul). The price is high though: 4 beers + 1 nachos = $82.

Rush hour wait is about 35-50 minutes especially lunch and dinner time (big dining area but small kitchen). The price is too steep for the almost little serving it has for the main food, I put two stars because for sides like fries and sweet potato had a serving that took up 80% off the plate. Not worth the price if you want a filling meal.

Husband and I come here every year. If you like beer, you'll need to try the sampler. Food is usually great but I expected a bit more out of their beef burger. I guess you can get a burger anywhere so its probably better to try the elk meatloaf or something. :)

Nice local pub with a great patio. Food was tasty and portions were on the generous side. We were really impressed by the halloumi salad, it was delicious! The elk meatloaf was nice, but nothing to die for. We had a selection of beers also, some were more successful than others. Service was correct and food came in a timely manner. Good option if you are in Jasper.

My son had the Elk meatloaf, and loved it. I decided to go with the Fish&chips. I’ve had fish& chips many times at pubs in Edmonton. It was terrible. Obviously frozen fish which seems like it was put into the fryer frozen. The batter was completely overcooked , way too long in the fryer. It was all deep fried batter , and what fish there was was not good. I didn’t eat most of it. Ironically the waitress asked me if I wanted to take the rest home, I thought what’s the point. I didn’t tell the waitress, didn’t want to make a fuss. I wasn’t looking for a free meal. I don’t mind paying $22 , but I expect it to taste half decent. The beer was really good though.

We came for supper around 7pm. Despite being busy and being told there would be an approximate 30 min wait, we were seated within 10 minutes! The waitresses and other staff were very friendly and attentive. We ordered their 6 x 6 oz Sampler of ale and enjoyed the variety of aromas and flavors. There was much to choose from on the menu and our food was delicious. We enjoyed our experience so much we're even talking about going again for lunch tomorrow!

Great and special beer and food in a bar atmosphere. We came there on a Saturday night and the place was packed. However, we didn't have to wait a long time to be seated. Crew is friendly ans all the dishes arrived pretty fast. Both appetizers and mains were on the highest level of bar food and the beers were pretty incredible. Taste the blueberry and the key lime beers and try the tasting menu, you won't be disappointed. Deserts were just ok, but nice ending to the meal.

Waited by the door for a bit to be seated despite many servers quickly walking past without acknowledgment.. I think it was a manager who finally found us a booth near the window. Service was slow overall, the servers look overworked with large sections/many tables that continually turn over, I felt bad for the guy serving us. The food itself was okay, nothing to write home about. Disappointed the chicken with the chicken and waffles is only dark meat. Good beer at least with a decent selection and bottles for sale to go.

We went for lunch (offseason so it was really quiet!) And our server greeted us immediately. I liked the beer selection and felt like there were a really good curated variety of options. The pretzel appetizers were delicious! The chicken burger with in house made buttermilk chicken tenders was really good and I was pleasantly surprised how good the bun was. Overall, good pub food, good service, and a great drink selection.

Great spot, great service! We had dinner and a couple of drinks. We got the fried chicken burgers, a lager and a Diet Pepsi. Would come back! The only reason we’re rating it a 4 and not a 5, is the Diet Pepsi post mix was a bit odd, it was quite weak and watery. I advised our server and she responded with familiarity and said “yeah it’s been like that for the longest time unfortunately” she offered to switch it out for something else but there was no alternative diet drink available. If it has been like that for the longest time, why hasn’t it been rectified? As I didn’t actually enjoy it or finish drinking it ????

Great beer and food. I love finding a house-made veggie burger. This one was very tasty. The roasted cauliflower was excellent and a nice change from the usual deep-fried pub offering. We had the Hefeweizen and Blueberry vanilla beers; both were very good. Service was friendly, attentive, and quick. The space has had a beautiful renovation since I was last there many years ago. It's a really nice room with a good balance of casual and mountain-y, yet modern.

Visited last week with our dog and it was a really good experience so we came back the next day. Would recommend the fried chicken burger and the tacos. Fish and chips was also pretty good. We stuck to the stout which was really good. I did try the vanilla blue berry beer but it was too much like dessert.

WATCH OUT FOR DMF FEE ON BILLS!!! The food and beer is good. However they charge a tourist tax of approximately 2.5% on each bill that we hadn't noticed until afterwards. This is a completely unacceptable practice. If you need more cushion to account for overhead costs, you build that into the cost of menu items like every other restaurant. I come to Jasper relatively often, but this will be the last time I come here. I would recommend the Something Else restaurant as they do not charge this tax and the food is delicious.

I had the duck ramen and it was absolutely amazing!!! I also loved the tangerine dream beer (I’m not usually a huge beer fan but I ended up bringing home a 6pk of that). The patio was nice and both servers both times we went were great. The only reason for the 4 stars is because the hostess was quite rude and not very friendly when we asked if we could make a reservation for the following day… she could’ve explained more kindly that they don’t take reservations instead of seeming to be annoyed that we asked. Also, we tried to call twice in advance to check if they take reservations, and we couldn’t get through either time.

The food here is some of the best that I’ve had in Jasper. We tried two burgers which were both delicious and the pasta and f&c were also good. However, their fries were some of the best I have ever had. They were crunchy and not stale like most other restaurants. We come here when ever we are in Jasper. Great food and service plus the beer is always on point! We had the pretzels to start, the Ramen and the Jerry burger. Everything was so good, can't pick a favorite. I love that they make their own condiments. The cherry beer mustard was amazing, you need it in your life. They are doing a great job with social distancing and cleaning. Love it, will be back again for sure ????

My girlfriend and I decided to come here for a beer flight...twas disappointing to say the least. First off, the service was pretty good. We were greeted with a (mask covered) smile, they took our information for COVID tracking purposes and let us sit wherever we wanted. Our waitress was attentive and quick. The downfall was the beer. I had a flight of 6 different beers and only really enjoyed one of them. Nothing was unique or exciting. I would come back to try their food as it looked pretty good but I would not come back for the drinks.

Meh. Service was substandard, one of our dinner items was forgotten - then it showed up cold. The meatloaf was very good, everything else was palatable. Not enough side plates when we shared appies, we asked for waters several times and none were provided, charged $1 for Frank's hot sauce. Drinks were forgotten, probably because the server didn't write anything down. At the end of our meal the server made sure to come back to charge us more because he didn't ring something in correctly ($4). Overall, of you're looking for mediocre food and lacklustre service, this is the place to go.

Beers aren't anything special and it has a very restaurant vibe. I got the impression that this was a restaurant where they could easily distribute their own beer, but it doesn't feel like a brewery per se (if that makes sense). They are pretty hop forward (when their fermenters work) but they need to lay off the lime in their beers.

I can’t even begin to describe this place. Although the servers, Bentley and Brad, were buzzing behind the bar with orders, they took the time to take care of us and get to know us. They recommended hikes, local breweries, and everything in between. The next day, we couldn’t wait to return to another unforgettable experience. Both times they went out of their way to ensure us the most amazing experience. Fantastic experiemental brews. Awesome management and workers. Already have panning my next trip out to this place.

Came here after realizing The Stand Easy is closed on Mondays and The Spice Joint also was closed for a couple days. Got the Jerry burger and the classic, the burger was pretty overcooked/dry and the classic is just one 4 oz patty and just a super sad burger. The Jerry was better in that there were more interesting things happening with the flavours but the burger patties themselves lacked much seasoning . The fries were thin McDonald's-esque fries. We waited quite a while for our food, we were out on the patio that got pretty chilly, originally sat at a table that had a "more of a decoration" heater but was able to move under the awning with decent heaters. Overall just very underwhelming.

I truly enjoyed my meal. I ordered a Turkey Club expecting nothing special, but I truly enjoyed the slow-cooked turkey in naan bread. It was perfectly delicious. I picked their soup of the day, which was a duck soup with vegetables. And it’s another winner! It was flavorful without being salty. One other person in our group enjoyed his Classic Burger and said it was good, but not impressive. Another one ordered the Barley Salad and said it was also just good. Our server (Kayla) was nice and attentive. They accept credit cards including AMEX.

I would totally give more than 5 stars if I could!! The food and beer was wonderful and the service was absolutely the best! I asked the waitress about an item on the menu and a food allergy, within a couple minutes, the chef was at the table. He brought an ingredient list, we talked through a couple menu items and we were able to figure out a meal. He personally checked on us later in the meal. Our server, Olivia, was so lovely in facilitating this, had great insight to the menu and just did a wonderful job. I can’t say enough about our dinner at Jasper Brewery. It was an incredible experience with super super great people.

Service was good. Wasn't really feeling for a burger so went for the bison curry. Trying to change things up from the daily North American food. The plate costs $22 and I'd say it's quite expensive. But I ordered it and I was looking forward to it. The food came out 2 minutes later we ordered it. It was quick. A little too quick actually. The food was definitely frozen and microwaved. The rice was dry and the curry tasted like it was defrosted. Pretty bummed about that since the place was recommended by a friend. Hey who knows, the burgers should be good. But just stay away from the curry since it ain't. Being honest is all.

This one wasn't like any other though.. you know when it's so great at first but then near the end you second guess all of your life choices and what you're doing with your life. This.. The best spot to eat/drink, in Jasper. The Manager (Matt) and Bartender (Brad) were very friendly, helpful, informative and excel in Customer Service. We had the Wild Bore Nachos. They were huge and extremely tasty. However, the salsa was very, very spicy. Customers should be warned. We also had the Elk Meatloaf, which was very good. The Spaghetti and Waygu Meatballs are delicious. Chicken Wings were delicious and crispy. Fries and Gravy are very, very good. Their house-made beers are the best craft beers I have had yet...and I have tried many different beers. DEFINITELY TRY THE TANG BEER (Tangerine Cream Ale). If you like TANG (similar to Kool-Aid), you will love this beer...JUST LIKE TANG. MY NEW FAVORITE BEER.

We enjoyed Jasper Brewing more than we thought we would. It was one of the better places to eat in the Canadian Rockies. My favorite was their tomato soup. They had a decent beer selection and more than just IPAs, thank goodness. They were open later than other places and their wait staff was always nice and accommodating. We ate here twice for dinner, which is saying something.

Another tasty visit to this famous Jasper eatery! The potato soup was one of the best I've had, and the Elk Tartare was absolutely terrific. All complemented with a great, quenching stein of "black & blue" (a tasty blend of in-house stout and blueberry vanilla). Canadian Maple Crème Brulée (served with a smoking cinnamon stick!) was a unique and satisfying choice to end the meal. Compliments to our friendly server!

We stopped in here while wandering around Jasper. Our waitress, Jamie, came by right away to say hi but didn't return for about 10 or so minutes. When she did, she apologized profusely and said the first round was on her. However, we ordered the beer sampler so she offered us a free desert instead. We had just about finished our samplers when she brought us two more (10 oz) "samplers" of their seasonal beers. Shortly after, we order another beer and a t-shirt. When the bill came, the only thing on it was the t-shirt. After making sure that's what she meant to do, we reluctantly proceeded to pay for just the shirt but after clicking ok on the machine, there was no opportunity to tip her - she said she disabled the tip button! At any rate, the wait really wasn't that long but the gesture was much appreciated (and yes, we tipped anyways!)! Fantastic service and fantastic beer.

I always enjoy visiting Jasper Brewing Company when I’m in Jasper! They have a good variety of beers to choose from. I highly recommend the 6x6oz. sampler, if you can’t decide on just one. The food at Jasper Brewing is also quite good. The cast iron nachos are one of my favourites. This visit, I tried the house made veggie burger, which was flavourful and unique. My partner had the schnitzel burger special and he enjoyed it. Overall, Jasper Brewing Company is a great place to check out in Jasper!

Distinctly average food, overpriced and served poorly. Our server was fine but anyone else who served our table threw the food down as if they were serving cattle, put the food in front of the wrong guest (put an L and G on your kitchen sockets so you know where the food goes). One of the items ordered did not come as advertised. Was the worst dinner choice I made on vacation. I'm sorry to say that. I hope things improve because you're in an amazing part of the world and if being in Jasper doesnt inspire you to do a good job then reassess your career choices lads.

I rarely write reviews, but my wife and I were very disappointed with the food at the Jasper Brewing Company. Plus points were great ambience, their blueberry bear was very good, and a friendly server who understandably was not able to be very attentive due to the busy nature of the establishment at that time. However, both of our meals were not good. My wife ordered the veggie burger which was so dry she ate less than half of it. I ordered the bison brisket, which was decent tasting, but overly covered in a very sweet sauce, and the "butternut squash" mac and cheese side was almost entirely dry-There was absolutely no cheese or butternut squash anywhere but some plain cheese in a very thin puddle on the bottom of the cast iron. The noodles were so dry they were cracking. I did not eat the mac and cheese and when the server came to retrieve our plates, I made a note that it was dry and to please let the kitchen know to add more sauce to future plates. In an effort to not be rude, I didn't ask for anything in return but wanted to let her know so that the kitchen could make an adjustment, but did assume that we would at least be given some sort of compensation in terms of a beer or a side removed from our bill, which is the norm. However, she took quite a long time to bring us our bill in full. This was, in fact, the second most expensive meal on our trip and for 2 beers and 2 entrees. We will not be returning. A woman next to me got a mac and cheese that looked significantly better as we were leaving, so I'm at least glad it looked like the kitchen got the message!

Service and food was amazing! The only problem is there is a very strong yeast smell in the restaurant that I haven't experienced in other breweries. We tried not to be dramatic about it but we had to pay and leave fast as we were getting a bit nauseous.

A little bit of a wait to get in, but that is to be expected on the long weekend. The wait is worth it! Staff was on the ball keeping the table clean and keeping drinks full. Food was amazing. Some of the tastiest hot wings I have every had. (Not to spicy but the right amount of zing) also had Korean BBQ wings which was amazing sauce. Wings where excellent size for price. Beer was amazing great selection. Took the IPA home. Cannot say enough that the staff was amazing! Friendly, made you feel like you were catching up with old friends! Highly recommend will worth the money. Worthy every penny!

Family friendly pub and restaurant with good fresh brewed beer. The menu is not a pub menu, really, and has some very fancy, overpriced items on it. No worth for a star. The server/restaurant deserves minus 5 stars. We ordered a rice bowl(there’s only one kind in terms if rice bowl in the menu) but the amount of rice in the bowl was just a tea spoon of brown rice. I’m not exaggerating but it’s literal. We made a complaint about it so they gave us a refill of rice but i was two spoons of rice. But they charged us for it. It’s a busy restaurant and the tables were packed out both outside and inside but just two servers were working. The server in charge of my table just took too much time chatting with another table even though she knew we were awaiting the bill for too long. She(the server in charge) was very far from being nice and kind enough to serve people.

TL;DR: Great food, service, and drinks! It was worth the price. Highly recommend doing the beer samplers. But, they did call the wrong number when it was our time to be sat. They did remedy it quickly! Server: our server was awesome. She was polite, fast, personable, and helped us with everything. Food: I had the hummus appy and the Jerry burger with sweet pots. Both were awesome. The burger was a tad dry, but nothing to complain about. I'd give it 8/10. The hummus platter was amazing, 10/10. Drinks: I had their beer sampler, and I subbed the rockhopper and the stout for their two seasonals. Every drink was awesome. The blueberry was surprisingly my favourite! They key lime seasonal was super interesting too. I even ended up buying a growler. Cleanliness: we ate outside and did not go in. From what we saw, it was very clean. They were on top of sanitizing. Price point: prices are average but fair. I actually expected it to be more because Jasper is a tourist hot-spot. The beer sampler, burger meal (I had the more expensive one), half an app, and a growler came to about 70 before tip. My partner had a halloumi bowl, half the app,y and pint, and it came to shy of 30. We really enjoyed the experience and felt that the price was fair. Only issue: we did have a small issue with our wait. They said it would be 40 minutes for an outside table. They never called. I went to ask after an hour and they explained that they called and I never answered. I showed them my recent calls, and they tried again and it rang. I assume they dialed the wrong number because she wrote it wrong when she first took it and then wrote the correct one over it. However, they sat us as their next table and it was fine. People make mistakes, no biggie.

WOW! BAD experience at this restaurant. Waited over 10 minutes for water and another 15 minutes for our drinks. The food was standard for your run of the mill pub but definitely not worth a wait that long. Both of our meals were cool when they arrived. Saw a waitress drop a fork on the floor, pick it up, wipe it off and stick it on a table. A&W is around the corner and the burgers are warm and the soda is served in a chilled glass. Skip the JBC and carry on to A&W.

Service was good and the waiting time isn't too bad. Although it is very pricey. I ordered the pork ribs with mashed potatoes and some red cabbage for vegetables. Mashed potatoes still had bit of pieces and weren't completely mashed. Ribs was not I expected it to be. Although it was okay, there wasn't really much taste to it. Didn't like the red cabbage that too well, I felt like it does not really go with the ribs and mashed potatoes. The burger bun was dry but, their french fries was bomb.

Great spot to eat in Jasper. Sat outside as it was a gorgeous day to enjoy the great views of the mountains. We both had a locally brewed beer, my German Hefeweizen was one of the best I’ve had outside of Germany. The Cast Iron Nachos were delicious, unfortunately they were eaten before a picture was taken! With the craze of microbreweries in full swing it is easy to find beer that is hit and miss. However, that is certainly not the case with Jasper Brewery! If you are unsure what you want either ask for a sample or go for the 6 beer flight! Our favorite was the black and blue which is the porter mixed with the blueberry beer! Aside from the beer being great, the food is delicious. They have some of the best nachos in Alberta. Other must try, the elk meat loaf! Absolutely delicious. Check it out if you are in Jasper

Approached the hostess after an hour and she said there are 10 tables ahead of us.. so we wait infront of her for another 20-30 minutes. After a number of tables were empty for a while we approached her again and saw all the names on the list crossed off after us.. ours was the only one that wasnt. I was told i was going to recieve a call but that never happened. Her excuse was that it went straight to VM but my phone never said I had a missed call. Why call when im standing infront of you and just gave you my name? FYI while we were waiting they even came outside to call someone elses name for their table.. why couldnt they call ours? However, when we approached again, they said "oh we can seat you right now" We ended on the patio. They had heaters but couldn't turn them on because the patio was a tented area. Why have them outside by all the tables then???? Overall service was not great. No one was smiling or friendly. After that experience we won't be going back.

We decided to stop in Jasper for dinner... this was so worth it!!!! Even though we couldn't 'book' a table, we walked straight into a booth without waiting. The menu offered great choice for adults and kids. The server was prompt, helpful and the service of food was speedy. The kids all loved the fish and chips - a good sized portion and crispy batter. We opted for the Korean BBQ wings, wild boar tacos and the roasted cauliflower. My husband and I shared and every mouthful was scrumptious! Although some of the decor, toilet facilities and cleanliness could be improved this was an amazing find!

Went here twice on our visit in Jasper and would’ve gone back again if we’d had more time. The bar has a great vibe, lots of hustle and bustle, sports and great beer. The tasting boards are a great way to try all their beers before getting a pint. The nachos were great value, packed with toppings and full of flavour. We also had the pretzels and chicken burger which were perfect. The chicken burger was really well balanced with the spicy pickles and coleslaw and the chicken was juicy with a great crunch. All the staff are super friendly and the service is top notch. Best place to eat in Jasper for sure!

We went here for lunch with our teenage kids today. It was a great experience. We were graciously and promptly greeted and were seated right away. The employees were chilled and the service was great. We were also very impressed with the food. I don’t normally enjoy pub food but this place was exceptional. The 5 of us enjoyed our meals very much. It had good quality, original and most of all, not too salty or greasy. Good quantities too. My husband ordered second round of beer for himself so I think he liked it.

Fantastic place. The food was even better than the beers (how often has anyone said that about a pub??). Best fish & chips i've ever had, including London ENG, and the fried chicken sandwich was absolutely perfect. Sturdy, flavorful bun, succulent spicy chicken.. literally perfect. Worth skipping Banff and going to Jasper instead just to eat here after your hike.. Order the flight of beers to sample most of their brews, or just trust me and order the blueberry vanilla ale. 5 stars and many future repeat visits!

Great place to come with friends and enjoy some drinks and pub food! We ordered drinks as well as the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich, Wings, and Fish and Chips. Everything was amazing except the fish and chips. They were simply way too greasy. I would touch it slightly, and I could see oil pouring out of the fish. The wings and chicken sandwich were very tender and flavourful. Would definitely recommend!

My husband and I visited on the September long weekend. They have a limited menu due to COVID but it still had a great selection. We ordered a burger, the turkey club, smores creme brulee and the beer tasting flight. The turkey club was on naan bread and AMAZING, the fries were also fantastic, the smores creme brulee was sooo goood and everything was very reasonably priced. The menu is via a qr code so there is nothing to touch or sanitize.

Had a great time. Have to toss 5 stars here. Had a great waiter. He was always on it. Making sure we had what we needed. Also answered my question about local sports affiliations. If you're wondering people this far north are usually Oilers fans. Beer was great. I live in Calg and drink it at home a bunch. That's why we came. Fair prices too, no complaints. Food was also good. The girlfriend said the burger was "basic but good". What more could you ask for really? I had the fried chicken sandwich. Great toppings. One of the best I've had. And I really like a fried chicken sandwich, you know. It's like my standard pub food order. Lots of pickles. That's what really stood out to me. The only problem is that it wasn't crispy enough. Then again, maybe the perfect amount of sauce made it impossible to have it crispy and I'm asking for too much? It's a possibility. Anyway, my suggestion is to keep that bad boy in the fryer like one extra minute. But that's a small complaint the food really was great. Can't wait to come back.

The beer variety is quite lovely, along with the ambiance. For desert I would suggest the goat cheese cheesecake. The brewery website suggests making reservations for groups of six or more. We were not able to get reservations, but managed to get seated fairly quickly. I feel the need to mention that vegan options here are extremely limited. Both the veggie burger and the pasta dishes contain milk and eggs, respectively. A “lettuce wrap” patty is the only alternative option (a patty wrapped in a couple pieces of lettuce). It would be awesome if they changed out the bun and pasta to veggie alternatives, and chances are nobody else would know the difference.

We ordered the nachos platter with chicken, it was light on the protein, but with a healthy amount of veggy toppings. The nachos are delicious and there was a good amount of salsa and sour cream with our order as well. We also ordered the 6 beer sampler, with a delicious key lime beer. A fun way to try different drinks in a friendly family pub atmosphere. Outside and inside seating is available during covid, with a gentle attention to cleanliness. The service was prompt.

They have an amazing menu. Most places I'm skeptical of the refined dishes in a pub setting. I started with a safe steak sandwich... and they completely nailed it. So naturally I had to go back and try the dishes that require more finesse. The lamb shank was amazing. Highly recommend eating here! Couldn't have finished our 4 day vacation with a worse experience... We were hoping to sit on the Patio at Jasper Brewing Co. to sip on a few beers and have dinner. We spoke to the hostess who said it would be about a 40 minute wait. This is fine, so we decide to put our name/number down and walk around the town for about an hour. We make our way back to Jasper Brewing Co. to ask how much longer, they say there's 2 tables ahead of us and shouldn't be long. I notice on the wait-list there's multiple tables below me crossed off already as they have been sat. Regardless, my partner and I decide to wait on the sidewalk next door. As I stand there for another 25 minutes I see them sit 2 tables, YAY we should be next! ...NOPE. Over the next 25 minutes I see them clear multiple tables. I see them sit a large group, which makes sense because its a larger table. From this point on I witness them sit about 4 other tables some of which were instantly sat upon arriving. I've now waited over 2 hours for a table. I approach the hostess stand to see whats going on and She says "OH you can take that table". at this point decide I don't want to give my business. And as an Alberta resident I will never purchase nor recommend a Jasper Brewing Co product. I understand things get busy and you can lose track, but I stood there witnessing the manager going through the wait list trying to sit larger parties before calling us (a party of 2).

We were served flat beer. We informed the waitress who then brought over the manager, a young man in his thirties. We explained the situation and he then tried to educate us that a Dunkel (the German beer style we ordered) was far less carbonated than your typical ale. It was flat mate, there was no bubbles. Also try looking up a Dunkel on Google because you obviously don't have a clue. 0/10 would recommend this place, go to the Canada legion around the corner for much better beer and friendly service.

The nachos were great and large - enough for 3 of us to have an afternoon snack!! Enough cheese and dips to go with. Food going to the other tables looked great too. The food came out fast despite the restaurant being very busy after a marathon that had just ended. Staff was friendly. After spending the weekend here I would say this is one of the better places in Jasper for to eat. Affordable, and really good happy hour options too (buy 1 get one 50% off appy).

Service was absolutely perfect as well as the beer, but food was a big disappointment. We ordered the fried chicken sandwich with mac and cheese and the halloumi bowl. The sandwich was OK, but the mac and cheese were plain dry noodles, with some baked cheese and butter. The bowl was way too sour and two tiny halloumi cheese pieces. Not sure if this is because of full house, but this does not deserve the actual rating of over 4 stars.

I like the vibe of the place. Lunch went well, with decent food and very nice beer. Price was reasonable though I hoped the serving to be a little larger. Keep expectations low. This place keeps dropping in my rating. The first time it was one of the best places I’ve eaten at! Server was great, food was stupendous and the beer was awesome. The second time, dropped a little, as the food wasn’t quite as good and the server was mediocre. This last time was probably the worst I’ve had at Jasper. The beer was still great, the B&B (black and blue) is one of my favourite all time beers. My server was okay, but my food was incredibly dry and disappointing. This place definitely can be excellent, and the cooks can do an excellent job. But it’s not consistent. Honestly worth a try but keep your expectations low for the food and you’ll come out ahead

After two check ins at 45 minutes (only 8 tables in front of you!) and 1.5 hours (only 1 table in front of you…) we finally got a table!!! Giving unrealistic estimates is bad service. If it’s going to be an hour plus, tell me and I can decide if I want to go elsewhere or not.

The beer was good. I had a hamburger that was cold, the patty was small and I could have got it at MacDonalds. Another person in our group ordered the Turkey Club, it was very very dry. 2 others in our group had the fish and chips and said they were very good. As none of us had a phone with us we were given menu but it did not show the flight samples on our hard copy menu. We would have probably ordered the samplers. The service was great. Don’t have the burger or turkey club.

We also ordered the burger, chicken burger, salmon, wings, and mashed potatoes with gravy. Our party all enjoyed our meals and the service was above and beyond. We weren't asked if we'd like to sit inside or outside, so when we were called I was told there's a separate waiting list to sit outside..so we had to wait even longer. They said we couldn't wait inside and get a drink at the available table, even though the people ahead of us were able to do this?!?! Clearly a sign some extra training is needed!

The pesto pasta was alright, one person liked it the other thought the pesto could have more flavor. The spaghetti was great! The Ramen....was not Ramen because the broth wasn't rich, honestly seemed a a flavor lacking chicken broth with vegetables but adding hot sauce help. Fish and chips were what you would expect for fish and chips. The meatloaf was good, be sure you like barbecue sauce. Shirley temple was on point!!

Jasper Brewing was EXCELLENT on handling their Covid protocols and the hostess was accommodating to what my wife and I were looking for. I did not care for the Jasper Crisp Pilsner but I did enjoy the Bear Ale. The nachos were good and the sour cream and salsa vessels were interesting but I rfelt that they were a touch overpriced. Clean place, friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere.

We loved the ambiance of the lounge, the food was amazing! I had a hard time picking from delicious menu options. We got the elk carpaccio to start and we were not disappointed. The beer was very tasty, with lots of great options. The mixed drinks were also very good. Our service was great. We will definitely be back!

Ordered from here for takeout while passing through town. The gentleman I spoke with was cheeky on the phone and very in accommodating. I wanted to sub my potatoes that normally come with the meal for a salad; he charged me extra for it and then I ended up getting potatoes instead of extra salad anyways and there was a hair in the potatoes. I Had my dog with me so I was clear about not wanting to leave my dog in the car on a hot day longer than necessary. He told me 20 min. I showed up 30 min later to make sure it was ready so my dog wasn't in a hot car while I waited. I had to wait an additional 15 min for my food and the place was empty. Not a good experience and would not recommend it!

Amazing food and great hospitality! Considering the current COVID-19 situation this place is very well setup and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. Our server, named Sarah, was extra friendly and bubbly. I had the King of New York pizza and my girlfriend had Spaghetti with Jumbo Shrimp. This place is a must visit for anyone coming to Jasper.

Huuuge rave to Jasper Brewing Company!! Excellent service and food. We sat in the restaurant for drinks and appies and brought home supper. We requested the food to be all boxed separately so nothing would get soggy.. and they did it with no hesitation. 12/10 on customer service and DELICIOUS food and drinks. Highly recommend visiting Jasper Brewing Company if you’re looking for a great dining experience while in Jasper????

During covid they have had a pretty good sized line to get in, but they were very efficient at turning over tables when people were done. We had a couple great brews and enjoyed watching some rerun hockey games. Great atmosphere, the pretzels were delicious, I look forward to returning soon.

We stopped in here on Fri Oct 15 for lunch thinking since businesses are feeling the lost of traffic to support them....disappointed in our experience. We sat our selves in a booth and watched how the servers are more concerned with socializing with each other that it seemed we were not of any importance. Considering to be a tourist center, should be asking guests, Hi...what brings you to Jasper?" Food was not impressive for what we paid. We waited 20 minutes for bill even stood at the bar entrance, no one asked, "can I help you? I told the girl finally, "we could just walk out and leave without paying"...she went to get our server from eating which is probably why we had no clue why she disappeared from serving us for that 20 mins. Maybe better luck next time ????

4 separate employees walked past me no less than twice each while I was waiting to leave my name for a table without so much as a hello. ....I don't mind a wait, but I do expect an acknowledgement. The food is over priced, but it is a tourist area, so that's understandable. We didn't eat here so I cannot comment on that. We came for some local brews, but sadly, nothing really stood out. The server was pleasant and made up for our initial arrival, but as a whole, a very average experience.

It was a major disappointment....heard so much about the place. Was excited to finally show up ....but first found out several of their beers were not in stock. Had the basic burger ...thinking cheese was a good addition.....all they did was add a kraft slice for $2 and the fries were cold. When the burger arrived....it was raw in the middle....was a waste of time and money coming here....should have gone with my first choice to eat.... Jasper pizza.

Had dinner for 4, definitely a happening place in town with cool vibe. Fried chicken sandwich, club sandwich, fries, fish n chips were all good, but not exceptional. Coleslaw had a weird yellow sauce which was also a side sauce for the club (no one liked that sauce and we were charged $2 for traditional mayo, ketchup, tarter sauces). Seating was also weird, some picnic tables surrounded by traditional tables, ours was traditional and really tight to other tables so enjoy conversing with your neighbors.

The food is so ridiculously over priced! The only reason they get 2 stars is because they had gluten free options so my 8 yr old could eat there. 50 dollars for a burger with a poutine side (5.00) and 1 bacon strip (3.00) A kids chicken strip 3 pathetic like strips & fries and a poutine plate. Taste and presentation of the food were nothing special, bland boring. Food was mediocre at best. The server we had was good, polite friendly. Overall. Hard pass there are way better options in jasper.

Nice place. Staff is friendly. Next time I'm back in Jasper I'll definitely be spending more time inside. Was camping 30 mins south in the rain but cheap growler fills of really good beer made the trip into town well worth it

Jasper Brewing Company never disappoints. The cast iron nachos are our go-to menu item. I only wish they'd bring back the wild boar! My 8 year old asked me to make sure I give them 5-stars because a) they have rootbeer and b) he loved the poutine. Their beer is what brought us in the first time, but it's the food that keeps us coming. Will always recommend this place.

We visited 5 breweries on our trip to the Canadian Rockies, jasper brewing co was head and shoulders above the rest, the beer was so good! We ordered the sampler which comes with 6 x 6 oz glasses , usually places come with 4oz or less , 6 feels just right for a sampler. Our favourite was the blueberry vanilla ale and jasper the bear. We also ordered the key lime pie beer and that was unreal .. only fault of this place is that they aren’t located in Ontario! We will definitely be back our next time in jasper.

Big disappointment I had a classic hamburger, I thought a place like this would prepare their own beef petty but i was wrong. I can tell the beef petty is frozen and can be brought from store. Not a place for food may drinks only.

We went with the intention of having 1 beer. The host advised it would be 15 mins for a table. We were called after 5 mins to say table was ready. We were sat on restaurant side and did feel obliged to order something but were not disappointed. My curry soup was so good! Covid protocol could have been a bit more consistent but overall it was good.
