Fries and Onion rings were cold, I mean Ice cold, really turned me off my meal from the deli. Men's washroom was disgusting, to the point where I was like yep I hit up a washroom elsewhere. Completely gross, and in no way OK.

You guys are the best! We stopped here while on a 2 week Alberta road trip. They offer free rv overnight parking. This store is so clean and has an awesome selection of fresh meats and veggies. Perfect stop on our trip. Thanks for being awesome and opening up your parking lot to overnight travelers ❤️ this is the only place my husband and I shop when we drive through Hinton!

Overall, a good grocery store, and good customer service, but I often am finding items that are near/past expiry date, or constantly fighting with the virtually nonexistent shelf life of the Freson bros in house baked goods, especially bread. This past week, I purchased juice(!) That was past it's due date by 13 days already. I shouldn't even be finding non refrigerated juice that has less than a year left of expiry/best before time.

Favorite grocery store in the area for our recent holidays. Awesome selection of fresh items and ready-meals (nourish bowls were only found here:D), great selection of keto snacks too. Prices are comparable to Safeway/sobeys. The hot food section has items way better than some restaurants in the area. Would definitely recommend, and come back whenever we’re in the area.

Their meat selection has become fantastic. I always love how they have larger fruit and vegetable platters available and their delis has a great selection of food as well. But if your coming from out of town dont let the prices scare you as all the grocery stores here are priced high.

Really expensive, some of the prices for drinks are comparable to the gas stations prices. I like how much of their merchandise is local, and they carry product that I don't see in other stores. The store was bright, clean, and well organized. The cashier was very knowledgeable, friendly, and approachable. The hours of operation are really good, too. I will be going again, but there is a lot of product that I will not purchase because of the unnecessarily high prices.

From an RVer's perspective, Freson Bros. gets top marks. Free overnight parking with good wifi. Inside, good selection, quality and prices, and very friendly. It's tough to match that combination anywhere, and it often makes my stays in Hinton longer than they would be otherwise.

Stopped in on our way to jasper. This store has really good baked breads and camping snacks. Good deal on canned sodas (their house brand). Even found a big bag of gummy krabby patties to send to a friend. Staff was friendly. Almost no one was wearing masks though, even employees.

Bought food from their inhouse food court. Service was aweful, 3 different staff and not one could understand English I was speaking. They kept trying to get me to buy something I didn't want. Once we got everything we wanted the food itself was great!

You can only bring back 2 water jug a day for return...? I only had 4 all together. She suggested I bring the other two to the valley. Then needed my printed name and phone number on the receipt. So not only is this inconvenient now you need my personal information. Ridiculous.

The deli alone makes this place worthwile. Honestly it has changed how we travel through the area. Instead of going to the usual holes (usually places lacking in quality and service) we go for food here and either take it for eating at a picnic table or for enjoying right there when restrictions are not in place. Freson Bros are the lifeline of travellers in small Alberta towns.

Compared to other grocery chains in town this is a much quieter place to shop. The produce and deli sections are well cared for with good selection. As well as the other sections of the store, meat dept., dairy, etc. The clerks for the most part are wonderful people. I've been shopping here since the store opened it's doors.

Amazing grocery store. I have been a fan since first shopping at stony plains location years ago. So now I trust this name. Food is scrumptious, selection is huge, and prices are, well, high. But you get what you pay for. Try their in store fresh made sourdough pizza, their fresh sammies, or the breakfast buffet on the weekends.

Stopped in here to get myself a snack while on the road. Great little grocery store. They had very fresh fruit and a good selection of snacks. The nice part about this store is that they have a deli style restaurant attached which has a wonderful selection of food including many homestyle warm dishes. The bonus is that there is a very clean spacious washroom attached to the deli, so if you need a break, you can do it all in one stop. The grocery store is also open 24/7 which is nice.

Nice store, the produce is the best part of this store, everything i need is just around the corner. Friendly staff, I am a PWD and i remember my shoe lace got loose and since i have difficulty bending this asian guy in produce offered to tie it for me which is unbelievable. I also like the instore made meat products. Sorry i cant really give 5 stars, there is a racist lady working in the deli, she is loud, i overheard her starting an argument with asian employees in the store asking them to speak english because she cant understand what they are talking, that is gruesome, she cant say racist comments while customers are present and her in uniform. But in general this store is excellent.

They need to get better at rotating perishable foods as I have bought at least a few items that were far out of date (a month+) and the fresh meat is not always very fresh looking. The cashiers are friendly and normally the lines aren't too long.

Though this is not a good place to shop produce, produce section is very disappointing, empty shelves rotten fruits displayed like they dont care about it, beware of the reduced stuffs too. this store sells EXPIRED items in reduced price, hope the health inspectors will take note of that, very unacceptable.

24 hrs, a day you can obtain groceries and some tasty deli sandwiches. Prices are somewhat higher than Edmonton, but this store has a view of the Rockies. So you pay for the view...also allows RV’s overnight, and a photo op with a huge carved grizzly bear.

Great store with the best sourdough bread ever. Made is store from Alberta wheat, I make sure to stock up on my way past. They are open 24 hours so it's great when you need to pick up groceries when travelling back through the night. They welcome travel trailers and there are other shops close by.

We found this place by chance as visitors to Hinton. The grocery was well appointed, clean and organized. They also smoke their own meat and there's an inhouse hottable serving dishes prepared from those meats. I highly recommend a visit.

Wish the deli serves 24H also, instore baked bakery stuffs are the best, deli selections kinda expensive but all fresh and worth paying. Avoid buying the produce reduce bins, they are covering up the expired dates with stickers and selling them in reduced price, that is very unacceptable.

Contrary to the giant neon sign and 2 large poster boards at the entrance and in parking lot it is not open 24 hours which was disappointing. I'm sure it wouldn't take more than 20 min to put them away and turn off the sign. I appreciate the overnight parking.

Freson Bros. Hinton offers an excellent selection of product at an okay price. Aisles are well arranged and clear in what they provide. The in-house bakery and meats work exceptionally well with the take out section offered in-store.
