Very poor customer service forced me to buy something that was completely incorrect and when I asked to exchange it The same day they told me to kick rocks or spend more money. Very disappointed. Not recommended

Small store somewhat fast service. Knowlegable staff. The food cuts for steak ham and bacon are all excellent. The ground beef is good too especially when you get the 10lb at amazing price. Prices are comparable to big chains regular prices when not on special.

I’ve been treated extremely rudely several times at this location. I was overcharged and when I pointed out their error I was made to feel like it was my fault. No blame was taken on their end for double charging me for an item. I’ve decided to take my business elsewhere.

No washroom for transport drivers delivering or picking up. pretty sad that this has been 1 and half aleast and most places has made a washroom that is cleaned regularly available to those drivers that don't have a way of going on the road always. Sad place.

Good meat, great cuts but after we ordered and were processed we were called the next day and told they don't honor the bundles on their website and that they only do what is convenient for them, very little conern for customer service I feel bait and switched, will not order again

Outstanding quality and staff. They warned me I would be ruined if I tried their coffee rubbed bacon. They were right. It is amazing and like no bacon I have ever tried before! I had a ribeye that fell apart in my mouth it was so tender. Love these guys!

I wouldn't go there again and if you are a person of colour I would avoid it. First let me say I understand with covid 19 we have restrictions to people that can enter a building. What I do not appreciate is standing in front the door waiting, allowing 2 people to leave and letting my mother in law go in (2 out 1 in), then having another person come out and my girlfriend and I going in (now 3 in 3 out) being told one of us has to go outside because they are at capacity. I would accept this if another person did not enter right behind us with nothing said. Prompting a lady in the store to leave her husband so we could browse without hassle. After this 2 more people entered with 2 leaving and nothing said to them by anyone. This was on a day where it is 0 outside. I do not get why something was said to us about being at 5 people instead of 4 capacity when there was that number before us, and twice with us there. Very sad experience considering I am moving to the area this month. I will have to go to other places recommended by my mother in law.

VG Meats is a great place to buy meats. Especially if you are concerned about what you are eating and how it was raised. They sell non steroid, ethically raised meats. The flavours are so much better it is ridiculous. Their prices are on par with many large chain grocery stores. Which is not common. Usually you can expect to pay considerably more for this type of meat. They often have specials on making their prices being even better than grocery stores for that particular meat. They have many cuts of meat to choose from and offer freezer deals. (Meat combo packs to suit all your meal choices). The staff is very helpful and patient. They are more than happy to answer any questions you might have. With a smile and expert advice. I highly recommend them. We only use their meats in our Restaurant. The Moo And Chew Teahouse and Eatery in Port Dover. Their excellent meats and fair prices allow us to offer top quality food to our customers that is both ethical and locally sourced.

Below is my original review of VG Meats. I will likely never shop there again because there are many other places where I feel comfortable spending my money. To draw me to Simcoe, any place would have to be exceptional. I am willing to give the owners the benefit of the doubt based on their response to my email. There seems to be a commitment at least from them to provide a service. So, I temporised the earlier review. I really did not feel welcome as a visible minority person. This has rarely happened to me. Normally, I would just ignore it and never shop there again. On my return home, I looked at the reviews and found another similar review. Once is perhaps an oddity, two is starting to look like modus operandi. I went to the store because I wanted some Woolley's Lamb and Schuyler Farms are closed on the weekend. I will call to speak to the owner(s) on Monday.

We have been long term customers of VG. The stoney Creek location is amazing. The staff are great. Simcoe, we went in today, like we do every week and we bought our usual boxes of meat. We bought chicken necks last week for our dogs and went in to request more. The lady was beyond rude. Stating she had been there 2 years and knows they don't have them. She said the menu is old and not correct, She insisted we were wrong and seemed very unhappy to be at VG meats. Perhaps managment should change the sign and talk to her about customer service. Again, stoney creek is 5 stars

We moved to Delhi eighteen months ago. We just recently found VG meats. So far our experience has been great. The prices are reasonable and the quality is good. Friendly knowledgeable staff. I think we will be shopping here regularly. ????

The worst customer service I have ever experienced! We did a fundraiser with them one of the brothers stood there and watched an 11 yr old and a woman load the car, while he stood there watching and talking on his phone. My son mentioned after we left, "sad we didn't even get a thank you"! The next day I wrote an email explaining why they had lost me as a customer. Shortly after the queen bee of the company called wanting to get to the bottom of my complaint, yelled and screamed at me, I asked if this was another example of their customer service and hung up .she then proceeded to press redial for 2 hours! She accidently sent text to my home phone, the recording gave me her cell number which I texted asking her to stop calling me, it was boarder harrassment. Her reply was that it was her grandson whom liked to press buttons! Remarkable the kid can text and leave mesaages! Coo coo for Coco Puffs!

The store is very clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. They have great prices and selection. They have a good size deli with gluten free meat. Buying in bulk and in individual portions is easy and convenient. Covid precautions are enforced so try to go at a less busy time.

Hi. Disappointed in the customer service. I spent $300+ and had no help to carry it out to my car. When you spend that kind of money the offer to help get it all out to the car would have been appreciated. I am a senior citizen so the help would have been appreciated
