There is never food hardly here and double the price, and since I moved here I been thinking about shopping online from Costco or heading to Timmins No frills. I purchase meat from a local Far in Cochrane, On because the grocery stores steaks have lots of fat and paper thin Angus steaks there other cut steaks are $35 dollars and up for one maybe 2 steaks. They really need to open another grocery store as Cochrane starting to grow more. Next time I'll take a pic of all the meats gone cause almost every time I'm here there no food.

Stopped in to the store when I was visiting up north. Lots of bare shelves, pricey and the store is not very clean. Clerk at cash was on her cell phone. Poor service. I feel for the people of Cochrane as they are being ripped off. The town needs another grocery store.

Service is ok; some cashiers look like they want to end their lives and have the attitude that comes with it. Selection isn't great and for a small town grocery store I find it expensive. Aside of those I have no complaints.

If shelves are a little empty, just means people are happy with what's there and purchased it. But don't worry, if what your looking for isn't available when you go there, remember, there's always a delivery on it's way.

Dont know what to say! I went in looking for something to snack on for the next 500km of my journey, not knowing my way around the store, staff were excellent! Very friendly and professional, definitely going to be my stop everytime I'm in town. Tim Hortons kicked me out a couple weeks ago claiming I was a bum. Wtg valumart , your staff is the only positive experience I have had in cochrane ontario... Tim hortons needs new management.

This is my home grocery store. The staff here are all friendly and very willing to assist me when I need something done. The store is kept clean and tidy, items within easy reach for whatever I am looking for. Enjoy checking over the older stock at 50% off. One complaint. The 2 for one price. Since I am single I do not appreciate having to pay more for something because I cannot eat all the food within a given time.e period. I am forced to pay more for one item.

Don't judge a book by its cover! This grocery store was a real surprise when I entered it. It's very clean and modern on the inside with a bakery and deli counter with hot food to go. Groceries are a little higher priced but then again your in the far north here and you kind of expect to pay a little more. But if you shop the sales it's really not bad at all. Friendly helpful staff.????

Stock of meat and vegetables was pathetic. Not one package of ground beef to be found and not much else was available. Slim pickings for veggies too. Cost is high but this is a normal expectation for the North. Definitely will plan my trip better next time so I can avoid this location.
