Travelled quite a distance to shop here again after several years. Arrived and didn't receive any welcome at all! Didn't find the exact product we wanted but purchased something similar. Would have spent on other items but the owner wasn't friendly or helpful so we didn't enquire about anything. As it seemed our business wasn't needed or appreciated, we just left.

We stopped in on our way home from Stratford. We had bought the Bacon & Ale Trail tickets, so we got their Bacon Burgers. Luckily we were able to use 2 vouchers, so we got 8. Will be cooking them tonight for dinner. The variety of meat was unbelievable. We wished we had brought a cooler. Also bought some summer sausage and cheese. Should be perfect for a relaxing night with some wine. Picked up a Bacon Scented candle for a gift, because, why not?! The smell is crazy, exactly like yummy greasy bacon cooking in the frying pan. Customer service was fantastic and we cannot wait to stop in again when we're up that way again.

A cute little shop and I really wanted to try the local pork. Definitely worth the drive from Kitchener! I bought a boned and rolled pork shoulder roast. So much flavour!! I actually thought I had over cooked it - according to the meat thermometer it was well and truly done! But it was moist, juicy and full of flavour! I had a 3kg roast (that had been frozen) that cooked in 2.5 hours on the bbq rotisserie. Thank you for providing good quality pork for a good price. Next up will be to try the free range chicken :)

We stop by here often. They are always friendly and welcoming. For the name you would expect to find pork products, which is correct, but they also have a wide range of fresh baked goods. Eg., Butter tarts and cinnamon rolls. There is also a wide range of gifts as well.

This place sells the best pork in a neighbouring areas. Their shop is clean and very inviting. Way more selection than you would expect, and there's even a gift shop there. I personally have been getting our pork there for almost ten years now. The people are very friendly. Highly recommended.

Owner is very ignorant and rude, entered the store and not only was he not wearing a mask, but was freely coughing without even covering his mouth. Considering his lack of respect towards his customers and poor hygienic standards I can only imagine the shortcuts taken in regards to the product sold. I will be contacting the proper health authorities and encourage others to do the same. Not recommended.

They make the best tarts I have ever had! The smoked pork chops are very intense flavor but the pork roast was perfect. Had just the perfect amount of fat for the roasted potatoes as well as keeping the meat moist during cooking.

Popped in on our way back from visiting my father in law in Stratford. When I asked the older lady at the counter if the pepperettes were all the same she said “back up and read. They’re all different.” Ummm great thanks. My husband put back the freezer burnt smoked pork chops he was holding and we left. See you never.

Horrible customer service. We asked to bulk orders liver for our dogs and we're told they wouldn't do it because it wasn't worth their time. This after telling us that they throw some liver away...

Bought 2 bags of chicken fingers and they don't even specify time/temp on the bag. Nobody answers the phone either, so I couldn't even figure it out with someone. Edit: Since the owners replied, I will edit my review to clarify. I am judging solely based on these chicken fingers, not on this business overall. I appreciate the response, but still find it alarming to now find out you know about this, and continue to sell poultry that doesn't have any cooking instructions. While this is likely not true for the rest of your inventory, that's all we bought, and now we are not sure what to do. i'll bump up to 3/5 stars cause you responded, but I still am out 16.99 x 2 and don't have instruction on how to safely prepare my chicken.

First thing, all these negative reviews seem like generally sour people. I wouldn't go off of their reviews. Wonderful little shop. Great service and great variety of food! I was surprised as I thought it was going to be just meat. I ended up buying some hot pepperoni sticks. Pretty good! I will be stopping by again in the near future for some of their other foods with my partner. Will be recommending this business :)
