Place has definitely improved recently under new management. As a person who shops on a budget, I love their 1/2 off freezer section. It's a great way to feed the family without breaking the bank. It's not located in the most convenient of places, but it's worth the trip.

I could give this no stars. Now we where recommended this store by a friend of ours and decided to try it. Randy is very unprofessional. We ordered $160 in meat from this store. Now when ordering we where told it was all fresh. But when picking up our order all the meat was frozen. When getting home and looking at the meat, all dates and prices where blacked out with marker to which you can still read through. Everything dating back to an expiry date of January and February. When calling to find out what was going on Randy finally agreed to replace the meat and told us to throw everything away. As well as on our next order he would give us half off good quality fresh meat. When calling today Randy starts calling my husband names (f***ing retard, punk, idiot as well a threatening him (telling him to come down to the store and stop hiding behind a phone and that he'd show my husband how to be a real man by knocking his f***ing head off... Now some of the things Randy was saying I find very disrespectful as I have two special needs brothers and you never truly know who your speaking to on a phone. Now when calling in to make a complaint we find out that Randy isn't a manager. He's just an employee who just works there. They try to intimidate customers by saying they will call the police because you call to make a complaint. Its funny how out of $160 we got 2 packs of sausages with 4 in each and the price on each pack was less the $3 each. But you can get a family pack of 20 sausages at Walmart for $10, 6 chicken breast, 6 chicken thighs, 5 lbs of hamburger meat, and 6 pork chops, and 2 pounds of bacon. Now for someone who claims to be a manager I don't think this is a proper way to handle a business and this gentleman should not work here. Do not buy from this company

Definitely Not A Cat

I used to work here almost a year ago and i used to think the food quality was "Okay" the best product being "Double Smoked Bacon" I bought some bacon from the front store 2 weeks ago and have noticed that the taste has definately improved under new management. 10/10 If you want something from here buy it from the front store the people running it right now are great and wont take any of the poor quality meats from the guys in the back.

Pawned off “aged meat” which looked like it had gone bad but I took his word, 3 steaks that weren’t literally brown tasted good but that other one stunk the kitchen to high heaven, took one bite and nearly threw up. I’ve had dry-aged steak multiple times and that meat was definitely rancid, never going here again

Bought 2 ribeye steaks Saturday afternoon from a young man behind the meat counter. Got home to find that one of the 16$ steak was oxydised and smelled bad. Not impressed for a butcher shop. Definitely will not return. I trusted them as "professionals" got let down. Please watch yourself if you go there.

Best meat in town at the best price for sure. Locally souces meats. Would be 5 star if I hadn't rushed there for 5:50 to find locked doors. Pretty disappointing :(

First time here, very disappointed. The place was.messy, disorganized and most of all it have a very foul odor. Selection wasnt great, and when I arrived a man was in the middle of yelling at a lady coworker. He didn't feel the need to stop yelling at her even though a customer was present. No staff were wearing masks at all either. I won't be back.

The butcher Luke does a fabulous job taking care of his customers. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The store is very clean

Has periods of greatness, but seems to always be follow by very low periods. Store front takes second place to everything else owners are doing. Pictures are very deceiving, very rarely are the shelves stocked. Used to make very good beef jerkey but was told the store doesn't carry it anymore because they sell it all to the jail. Could be a great local butcher but unfortunately the owners just don't seem to care about the public or the employees in the store. Hit or miss.
