Coneybeare's is among the best authentic butchers I've ever visited. They know their cuts well, always have good and fresh selection. Friendly service and good banter. A must stop on the way to the cottage for that favourite cut of steak or on the way back home so you have something to enjoy during the week.

Nestled in the downtown core of Minden is a gem of a butcher. Offering a great selection of beef, chicken and other goodies. The sweetest tasting lobster tails I have purchased inside any coast. The ribeye steak that we purchased was the juiciest, most tender beef. Truly melt in your mouth delicious. If you gotta rough it in the bush on holidays you gotta stop here for the best rations in Minden!

Coneybeare's is a real old-fashioned butcher shop, not a boutique. They carry the basics at very good prices with the emphasis on quality. Nothing pre-packaged or wrapped in plastic. Steaks and chops cut thick and delicious! I buy seasonal freezer orders, cut and wrapped the way I like, and I've never been disappointed. We're lucky to have this country family business in the neighbourhood.

A hidden gem of old School butchering in Minden Ontario, Halliburton Highlands. 1st quality Pork, Poultry and Beef, all customizes to your liking,by very good folks. It today's day of big box, packaged products, it is great to still have the availability of outstanding quality,reasonably priced, by knowledgeable butchers. Chris is still around, fortunately, Lilly his daughter has interest in continuing the family tradition for years to come. Outstanding news! Still consistent, after all these years. I need to find a Butcher Shop like this in the city! We tried their Mexican sausage, fresh bacon, chicken and beef tenderloin! All of the meat was fresh and we only bought meat from here instead of the grocery store. Everytime I went in, everyone was super helpful!
