An update Save on came to the party with a cash credit and points. Was handled very professionally. Absolute disaster online delivery service to Silverstar Mountain. Twice did an order on line twice did not get delivery. Charged my credit card confirmed delivery but once the window of delivery came and went no delivery I had to phone the store and was told the delivery had been cancelled x 2. 2 days Skiing missed at a cost of $200.00 no compensation. Don't get sucked in how good the delivery service is. I will never use this service, which they charge you for and charge for bags.

Well this is my LAST time shopping here.... yesterday I get my groceries online. Pick them up and the lady gives me a number to call because my " membership card didn't work". Didn't tell me they charge the addition 30$. Your sales aren't worth your terrible customer service and I am livid I paid full price on without consent-charged my credit card. If the price was different that should have been explained Before having me sign or giving my the groceries. After 3 terrible incidents in less than 6 months I will shop anywhere but here.

The store is really neat, always fresh produce, grocery, bakery and dairy. Very convenient place to shop, one of the best personell is here, very friendly and helpful! Sometimes promotions are really good deals. However, there are mostly expensive prices for everything compared to Superstore, Walmart, local groceries etc., especially for seafood, households and dairy.

Had a terrible experience with one of their staff named 'Amber'. She was rude and total ignorant. She seemed dozed out. I brought the matter to to the store manager's attention but nothing was done. The manager explained that she understands her staff member was rude and all that and she will talk to and stuff... but in the end I was brushed off. Not happy at all.

Great friendly staff, amazing selection and a very Clean store are only a few of things you will be saying on your way out. I do all my grocery shopping here. If you have a keen eye you can some pretty exceptional deals! The instore made food is amazing compared to any other grocery store i have been to. Definfinitely try the wing bar and chicken pot pie, then end it off with a frozen Yogurt for dessert!

Good selection, always find what I'm looking for. Save on is really great for people with celiac or gluten intolerance, as they label products throughout the whole store. They have a dedicated aisle for these foods as well. Their produce always looks great, as does the bakery and deli section.

My favourite grocery store to shop at. Staff are friendly and helpful and I might be obsessed with collecting points for travel! I am actually writing the review about the bakery tho! Recently I ordered a cake for my sons bday. All he wanted was Black Forrest with a hockey theme. I called everywhere and no where was able/ willing to do this for us. Chris at this Save on Foods bakery went over and above and made it happen and made my son very happy so I thought he deserved a shout out! Thank you!

Cashier was snarky and sassy. She asked if I wanted a bag do I said no, she responded mockingly with "no, ha tell me how you really feel". I told her she had a bad attitude and if she was incapable of doing a simple job as smiling, scanning items, and saying thank you she should consider a job as a janitor or someone who doesn't deal with customers. This is our favorite grocery store in St Albert. Perfect location. Always helpful and friendly staff, very organized. Very good produce and we buy our bottled water here as well which is the best water on the market with the lowest sodium levels. All in all an awesome store.

Normally love this store, great selection and friendly service at self checkout. Today Diane served us and it's the first time in a year and a half, as a conscientious citizen, I've been schooled on how to bag groceries and where to stand and put my cart. I wasn't allowed to bag groceries on the counter at the very end, doing my best to stay back a good distance. And as she told me I could try to bag groceries awkwardly reaching from behind the partition and juggling all my bags and food items, her co-worker walked up twice to lean in close and speak with her. Then when my husband had unloaded the groceries on the far end, she proceeded to pause the line, came around from the til on the customer side to tell me how to move my cart and load my groceries. When I'd had enough I politely said, "Thank you, I'm good." She said, "Yea but I'm not." There is an opportunity in all of this, to be safe, kind, considerate, as my husband and I were being, and not controlling and condescending. I didn't bother to tell her that we'd both been vaccinated. She wasn't interested in being reasonable, only in making it very clear that she was in charge. And I was simply doing my best to keep the peace. It is unreasonable to bring our own bags, the clerks wearing gloves not having to bag groceries anymore (even though we know that's not how it's spread), and then we cannot use the counter. I've been shopping for a year and a half, doing just fine using the end of the counter and having lovely conversations at a distance, in our community. If clerks are this paranoid, then they should either be educated by management or find work that they consider less risky. I appreciate the fact that this was our first poor experience here and we will simply avoid having Diane serve us, but perhaps there is a lesson in this review for the management. This is very well stocked store with a good variety of items. I am new to town and it has been nice to be able to just rely on this one store for all our needs. The staff has been really helpful and friendly when needed. Special shout-outs to the chatty cashier from Newfoundland that let me know about the pineapple and lime Crush from the east coast and Jocelyn in pharmacy who was super patient, nice and helpful when I was switching my prescriptions from another pharmacy on a Sunday morning. Since I work from home I don’t get to interact with people in person very often and trips to this store are a highlight of the week.

The manager of the online pickups had the nerve to tell me to pick up at a different time if I wanted less substitutes even though I placed the order more than 24 hours prior. In addition, it wasn't clearly marked and took a bit of time to do. I had much better success using Superstore pickups as it is a much more seamless experience.

I always enjoy this store. The staff are so friendly and the Manager can regularity be seen greeting customers. The store is clean, organized, and well marked. The grocery pick up service is always on time and well selected. Over the Christmas break, I had my two nieces. We went to buy some snacks. After we had paid For our stuff, a lady from customer service walked over and said “you look like you need something to do tonight” and gave us a cookie decorating kit. I almost cried as I was overwhelmed with her kindness. Thank you. I appreciate the gesture and have always loved the store ????

This location has taken a nose dive, not clean inside, they don't clean baskets or buggys. The entrance is dirty with overflowing used wipe bins, and spray bottles for customers use to disinfect are leaking and leaving a mess on the table and floors. Produce has been very poor, fresh lettuce is nearly impossible to get here. Staff seem not to notice.

The online shopping/store pickup service was amazing!! I basically just needed to park my car at the designated lot and give them a call. Then the personal shopper (Kysell) brought all my groceries out and loaded on my truck! The groceries are very fresh and good quality too. They even gave me free chocolate for using this service. I felt spoiled! Thanks so much for the great service!.

Produce department is well stocked with fresh veggies and fruits. The store is neat, clean and orderly orderly. The meat department looks great. There is my favorite Chapman's ice cream in the 1 litre size on sale as well as many other great sales. Above all the cashiers and other staff are friendly and helpful.

Great place to find special groceries. Famous for always fresh produce. Really helpful and friendly staff. Great sortiment of European sausage in rhe Deli section, if you ask they will pack it for you in brown paper instead of plastic. The only place in Quesnel to buy Avalon milk! Nice and freah sortiment of flowers. Free pieces of fruit for the kids (I love it!). The only place in town to buy German bread from the Lac LaHache Bakery.

Some guy who was stocking shelves was eating the cat food was a really strange site must be a new face never seen him before..... this now an edited version of my previous review I have whent back to this place of grocery and I thiught they would have delt with this issue.. I was wrong I saw him in the behind next to the sliding doors by the deli department absolutely demolishing and eviscerating cat food for sure I can make out who it was tall lanky man with a clean shaven fave please do somthing about this it made mu children nervous he was growling photo posted of the man

I really like this store. It's conveniently close to work and has a lot of friendly staff. I get random advice on which fruits are most popular. I don’t like the fact I need a member card to take advantage of lower pricing - nothing like marking up for you to get a membership. Besides that, prices are astronomical and no real incentive to shop there. As long as I’m selective I can pick up my groceries from a couple different places in town, get the same quality and save money. I will say the presentation of their products are terrific, clean store and bright.

Very clean and well layed out. I only went in for two things and, as often happens, I ended up approaching the till with eight. A employee saw me pushing my twins and trying to balance the items and quickly came to my rescue. She took the items, and then placed them down on the conveyer belt for me.

It was easier to come to the store and try to ask over the phone do you have ricotta cheese, and I was told to call back in 5 mins and talk to my supervisor, well I appogise if I sounded angry, but I would figure that it's a pretty common ingredient and that working in a grocery store you would know what it is, myself have working in one, was always asked where or if we had certain things, but anyways they did have it and guess what it was on sale, wow.

Poor experience here. Long line ups, cashiers repeatedly calling for help over the store wide speakers, no express tills open, and to top it off, an employee CUT the line in front a lady who had been waiting in line with a tiny container of milk! Same employee was at the help desk just chit chatting with an employee when I walked into store and was waiting there for help to locate a baking item.

Great place though much pricier than some other grocery stores. If they have a sale it's a great sale. Always good produce. The staff at the tills are always nice and seems like a good first job for local kids. They also seem to do a lot of community fundraisers and other community work. But the real highlight is the deep voiced dude in the meat department that calls me ma'am even though I think I'm too young to be a ma'am - haha. Reminds me of how grocery stores were when I was a kid. Oh there's a kid who does the online grocery shopping who seems really stoned. A friend agreed.

Not a bad place to stop for some meal ideas. Make sure you have your save on card because it can get a little expensive compared to other grocery stores but they're weekly discounts make it worthwhile. They're also open pretty late.

Really enjoyed my shopping experience here. Colleen the cashier was so great and friendly. I’d gladly go back to this store again. I was so surprised at the selection of meat and seafoods!! The only downfall is some citizens of MH and area don’t wear masks in the store and don’t care about the health and protection of others as we go into a 3rd wave. Shame on them... Save On is great though... good for them for offering delivery and contactless pickup when citizens aren’t following public health guidelines.

I am giving the store a one star rating for their Covid19 procedures. I was in there today and there was a lady not wearing a mask. I asked the lady where her mask was, she stated “for medical reasons she didn’t have to wear one” I responded then you have a doctors note for that. She said “No” Nobody from the store asked her for her doctors note as it is painfully obvious that nobody wanted a confrontation with her. The other obvious thing is why wasn’t she wearing a shield if she can’t wear a mask? I am immune compromised and idiots like her and lack of leadership from management make it far more difficult for me to shop here. Also I used to see the carts regularly sanitized but I don’t see that happening either.

Lots of sketchy people in the 109 st location. Security was everywhere and there was a woman picking through the bulk goods with her bare hands. I told an employee but he was too busy. Lots of rude people who park their shopping carts in the middle of the aisle. Wouldn't reccomend.
