Not your average Butcher shop. Order ahead and get curbside pick up, butchers are top-notch and they never let me down on the quality of the meat, Highly recommended. Told them I needed a chicken for beer can chicken not only did they get me a fresh one they gave me tips for cooking it!!

Friendly, professional, enthusiastic... Randomly Googled "Venison near me", I'm a new hunter and I'm looking to get some big game this year. I called the first place on my list and got the pleasure of speaking with Ryan. This place was on the other side of town about 20 mins out of my way, after he answered all my questions and shared the enthusiasm to try venison before hunting it... he surprised me with a gift from his own personal hunt. I 1000% recommend checking out this family owned butcher shop , I will absolutely be coming back to try some more high quality meats!

If I could give more stars I would. Last year Ryan trimmed and prepped ribs for me weekly so I could work on a rib recipe (complete with testing and critiquing as requested!), and I won a rib competition because of the quality of his product and his advice. This year he helped me source a top quality dry aged prime rib for my husband's birthday, and it was the best steak he'd ever had. I will drive out of my way for Ryan's products any day, and I could compare it to some of the highest quality butcher storefronts in the area and would put CE Elliott on top.

I ordered a bunch of different meat and seafood items from these guys over the holiday season and everything turned out really well. The ribeyes were outstanding, the shrimp were gigantic and really tasty, and the lamb was a hit on Christmas slow cooked in a Dutch Oven. Will be ordering from Ryan again in the future!

If you want top quality at great prices this is the place to go in Hamilton. My usual request is something like: 6 lbs - Mixed Sausages 6 lbs - 5 oz 100% Prime Rib Burgers 6 lbs - AAA New York Strip Steaks Whole Chicken or Pork Butt Sometimes I change it up, since there is a lot of options (even seafood if you like that).

I went to the Hamilton Farmer's Market on New Year's Eve and discovered that half of the vendors closed, including their only two Beef butchers. NYE dinner was going to be steak and crab leg. Got the crab leg, but had to find another option for the steak. Thanks to Googlemaps, I discovered C.E. Elliott & sons and called, while I was at the market. I was a little confused that I needed to order in advance and they'd call me when it's ready, but steak was needed. I had enough time to drop off the frozen fish at home (10-15 min) by the time I got the call that the steaks were ready! We're new to Hamilton and are rarely in the commercial area that this butcher was located, but what a cool area! Sort of sketch, but has an antique feel to it. Called upon arrival, when the gentleman invited me to enter their building. First of all, all the guys that worked there were super nice and seemed happy that I used their service. I didn't go deep inside their facilities, but it seems like they have a meat counter, which I'll need to explore later, but for the most part it's old-school warehousey. I grabbed my 2 NY Striploins and 2 Rib Eye steaks, CUT SPECIFICALLY FOR ME. They even asked how thick I wanted them. I'm never asked that question, but I guessed 1", which they said is pretty standard. Anyways, Ribeye steaks were chargrilled to perfection and were so tender and delicious! Can't wait for those NY Striploins!!! In the end, so glad of the lacklustre presence of the merchants at the Hamilton Market, so I can think outside the box and explore this gem! I'm eager to explore their store further and just noticed their Facebook page, with all the products that they offer and costs. Great prices, great meat and great service! Highly recommend!

Best beef ribs ever. Good lord they were fantastic cut. Slow cooked for 11 hrs. Smothered in Kansascity style bbq sauce and brown sugar and maple syrup. We will be back for more.

Called for a prime rib to feed 12 adults. Got an end cut full of fat and 4 rib bones just tied to the roast. I paid nearly 200 dollars for basically enough to feed 7 people. Half of the roast was not edible. I appreciate them getting me the roast last second, but I'd have been better off going somewhere else. I would not go back to this establishment. Ruined Christmas for a large family. Just check your cut before leaving as mine was all nicely wrapped. I trusted this place and did not check myself. Expensive lesson learned

Ordering is simple, quick and you get exactly what you want (down to the thickness of the cut). The quality of the steak I had today was top notch and the prices are actually better than what you would pay for sub par meat at the grocery store. I'll be a returning customer for sure.
