This place is amazing and well worth the price. The sausages are fantastic among everything else that is made here. Love the atmosphere and staff is incredibly friendly! Greatest neighborhood market with local fresh meat, eggs and assortment of cheeses. Fresh bread on their deli sandwiches along with combo with fresh made cold salads like bacon broccoli and curry chicken. Yum!

AMAZING customer service! I had ordered their wagyu Father's Day package and unfortunately on the day I was supposed to pick up, there was an issue and they didn't get their meat delivery in on time. They did, however, deliver the steaks to me the next day, free of charge, all the way to Welland. I felt bad that they drove all that way but they insisted that it was their fault so they wanted to make it right.

review date: september 2, 2016 my first time visiting fpm was fri. sept 2nd/16. i was looking around for a good burger/sausage/bbq source for a few weeks as i wanted to see what was out there. i got recommended to see fpm from a source around the way. b4 going to the store i did my homework to see what fpm is about and it looked good. open only one year and they have quite a following, plus high scores on feedback. good attention to detail on their website. and excellent business hours especially for shift workers. upon arrival i was greeted by a gentleman named jim who was the butcher on site for the morning. he was very friendly, sincere and respectful. for the time being i walked out with the hungarian, peach and curry sausages, plus a 4-pk of (9oz each patty!) chicken breast burgers. gr8 choices. prices are def commensurate with the quality fpm provides. you won't be disappointed. there is a dire need for a place like this, there's too many outfits that talk a big game and don't back it up with quality. i hope fpm will be around for many decades to come. for people out there that are sitting on the fence, give fpm a try. you won't be disappointed. additional review date: sun. june 9, 2019 hard to believe it's been almost 3 years since going to the 50 point...time really goes by quick. since that time nothing has changed concerning their quality and amazing products. still top notch. from time to time they have added some new products though, and that's done well for them and their customers. if people are in the area or can make that extra effort to get there, they have a hot food service that runs mon-fri starting at 11am and runs till 1-2pm. bbq'd sausages, burgers, steak, souvlaki and especially the kabob on a bun is to die for. thanks to james, joe and maria for all your hard work. wishing you many more years of continued successes.

This market seems so out of place at 50 Point. One would expect to find a place of this quality in higher end shopping areas. The sausages are a must try experience and their butchery a testament to the craft and imagination. We love their fresh breads and it is a go to place for sandwiches with your choice of fillings from the display cases. The range of frozen burgers is extensive and jalapeño and cheddar are our favourites. The choice of sauces and ketchups is first class and puts most grocery stores to shame. Excellent service is their hallmark.

Picked up the pear and blue cheese sausage others recommended, by far the best sausage I've had. They also warm up precooked meals for you on the spot. I recommend the Pulled pork sandwich with creamy coleslaw. Big sandwich for $9

I have been going here for a few years. The sausage is good. The service is lacking. Today I visited to purchase 4 sausage. I was the only customer in the store. A few moments passed before an employee approached me to take my order. When I asked what sausage goes with the sauerkraut displayed on the sausage counter I was told " I don't know" followed by an awkward silence. So I asked " can you ask someone who does?" .. He went and got someone who just recommended something. Okay. Fine. 4 Sausage. On my way out I picked up a few other things. Then I stood at the checkout for another few minutes. Again I am the only customer in the place. Finally someone approached and rang me out. This is my second visit where I've thought, I shouldn't go back there. The first time an employee with her mask pulled down was mopping my the floor at my feet. Her face less than 3 feet from mine. If you're the owner or work there, you shouldn't take the first parking space. Just an FYI with the white Land Rover. Probably won't return. Good food sells but bad service doesn't.

We love this little gem. There are so many great finds at this little market. It is clean and well organized. We took home some sausage, korean short ribs, blue cheese stuffed olives, pepperettes, salsa and tortilla chips. Great selection of local and/or small business brands. What a fabulous, friendly place. We moved into the neighborhood about three months ago and tried it out for some cold cuts. We go back several times a month for salads, cold cuts, baked items, cheese ...and the awesome friendly service. Have not tried the soups yet but am sure they would be awesome as well. Our preferred choice easily over the box grocery places. Love having company over so we can go get food from 50 Point Market!!

Unfortunately, this was our first time visiting the store and we did not leave with a great impression.These 2 stars are based on customer experience on July 29/2020. Not based on the food as we have not made dinner yet. I would just like to say that I am disappointed in the staff, the customer service we received today was below par. It was not busy in the store however, the staff treated us like we were inconveniencing them from what they were doing behind the counter, when we needed service we were told to wait. (Remember, it was not busy) Also, masks are mandatory and should be worn properly especially when serving food and we saw 2 employees wearing their masks below their noses. Not a good experience - hopefully the food will be better.

Friendly staff...and enjoyed the lamb spiducci. Only thing we had that we didnt enjoy where the butter chicken sausages. I was expecting them to me juicy. Bit my spouse and I couldnt eat them. Will try again but I agree with some of the other review its very expensive.

Very disappointed.. my elderly father is new to the neighborhood and has been going to this great place for a couple of months. He has had no problem getting a t-bone steak cut in half (easier to chew). However today Sunday June 28th 2020 they indicated they can't or will not do anymore. It's too bad everyone was so nice and welcoming to him.

This was my first visit and I was overwhelmed by the excellent quality and selection of meats and cheeses. I purchased (3) flavors of sausage Tuscan, Blue Cheese & Pear and Curry - all were excellent. I look forward to making this my stop for specialty cuts and sausages. First of many visits - keep up the awesome work and quality. Recently received some large beef back ribs from the 50 market. These are often over looked as a rib option due to their large size. On the long weekend I smoked these for 9.5 hours to great results. Thanks for the quality meat 50 market and I will be back soon!

The selection of sausages is excellent, and often there are samples of cheeses, breads, spreads and more, enticing you to pick up a little something more. Plenty of fresh foods and smells. Great service, but no washrooms and other businesses post no washrooms! Have to drive down the road to a timmes? That's not right, what are they thinking?

Visited for the first time today after seeing the great looking photos on their website and Facebook and reading the many positive reviews. The food, both fresh and packaged, looked as good as described, but I guess the owners, staff and (regular?) customers all didn't get the memo: we're in the middle of a pandemic! Not one person (except me) in front or behind the counter wearing a mask or face shield. Maskless staff members working together in tight spaces with no ability to stay 6 ft apart. No one monitoring the limit on the number of people inside, despite the sign on the door saying they are limiting customers. Subsequently the narrow aisle space inside was impossible to navigate while staying 6ft away from others. Not that anyone seemed concerned - observed a staff member behind the cash (no plexiglass barrier at the cash) speaking loudly with two customers, all maskless, no more than three feet apart and all clearly comfortable with that situation. Tbf, the quality and selection of meat, sausage, cheeses etc. seemed excellent and worthy of their many 5 star reviews, but anyone concerned about COVID 19 infection should avoid this place like the plague.

I came here to buy steaks and choose a suboptimal cut. The gent behind the counter took the time to explain the differences in cuts and helped me pick some better steaks. They were tasty! We also got one of their store made apple pies which was great. Its hard to resist those treats they put right beside the cash.

I usually shop here once a week since I live in the area. Food is meh, for the price... very over price. Staff are very very friendly. My 4 year old had to use the bathroom once and was literally jumping because he had to go so bad. I had asked one of the staff working behind the deli and he looked at his boss who was a female since she was right next to him. I'm assuming she's one of the owners and told me it wasn't "acceptable" letting people use their bathroom because it isn't for the "public", and right after that, she claimed it was "out of order" If it was out of order why didn't the staff tell me it was out of order before asking her? How can a bathroom be out of order when their "employees" that are only aloud to use their bathroom, need a bathroom to use while working???? I understand they don't want random people using their bathroom but if you want your business to grow you should make your customers happy. Well anyways who ever told my 4 year old who couldn't understand why he wasn't aloud to use their bathroom is full of sh** , never going back. Lost my respect and my business!

Excellent food and wonderful staff. Not the cheapest place to eat. But the food is high quality and in the end, you get what you pay for. I would far sooner pay a little more for homemade, high quality, well prepared food, than save a buck and eat unhealthy generic food. Everything here is flavourful and fresh. No shortcuts in preparation. Easily my favourite place to stop for a Kombucha or a sausage on a bun.

A pleasant surprise to find such quality and variety of meats. I tried the turnkey and cranberry sausage, what a combo! I have also enjoyed some of their reduced ready to eat packages. In particular, they sell a small tray of "ends" from deli meats for under $3. Not only is this little tray delicious but it is also a great way for customers to try different meats. The stuffed yam potato with chili was great as well. The only negative would be that some of the prices are above average compared to larger grocers, but that is expected with a smaller shop.

Please try a Rib Eye. $17-20 bucks for a cut of meat that will make you appreciate the quality that 50 is going for and more then enough to share a steak between 2. I've been going to Vics for years but I now buy steaks from 50. Over the Top!!! Great hot counter for a quick lunch if you need. A small amount of bakery, dairy and veg to make it a one stop shop for you dinner needs. Well worth a try if you haven't been!

I went back and asked for it to be cooked more, went back to work to eat it and it was still pink. I didn't end up eating the burger and just tossed it in the trash.

Found out about this place through a shared post on Facebook. When you arrive its like walking through the pearly gates of sausage heaven. The only thing missing is Angels singing in the background. With so many selections of sausage, being our first time here the young gentlemen was patient and knowledgeable about the product. We bought 6 different kinds of sausage a bacon cheese burger and the sish-kabobs are a meal in themselves. I could go on and on about this place, but you really need to check it out. SEE YOU AGAIN SATURDAY!!!!

Delicious sausage rolls but the owner (I know she was since her picture was in the "Living the Dream" frame) served us at the cash. She didn't look up, didn't say hi, didn't smile. I have bad days as well, but I ALWAYS smile and am pleasant and I don't own the business. Otherwise the food does look fresh, the deli staff was very friendly but the food was a bit overpriced. Sorry but rude service really gets to me.

Needed a caterer for Stoney Creek/ Grimsby area, found 50 Point Market on Google: Wow. We had many options, but went with their recommendation of seasoned chicken breast, grilled vegetables, roasted (mini) potatoes, rice and even shaved roast beef! Everything was exceptional, we had zero complaints. Cost was very reasonable. Will definitely use their services again. Staff were outstanding: friendly and efficient, arranged the meal with Maria. I am very impressed with 50 point sausage, at first i thought it was a bit pricey but considering the quality and variety, it is soooo worth it. What can I say about 50 Point Market? I can start by saying everything is fresh and delicious! The best steak sandwich you can buy, awesome bread, great cold cuts, crave worthy desserts, the list goes on. Staff and ownership are top notch!
