Baileys has been the best place to buy meat in Bedford since the 1980's....plus lots of Middle Eastern grocery items and sweets you won't see elsewhere, certainly not at these prices. Friendly, local...try them!

I am so happy I found this gem in my neighborhood. The service is always friendly. The owner cares for his customers, going as far as bringing an elderly ladies purchase to her car for her. The olive oil he imports is amazing and his lamb is local. Walking through the store you can find products that are not found in your local grocer and are unique. He takes time for every customer, so some patience goes a long way when they are busy.

Great collection of spices, Middle Eastern, Indian, Biriyani Masala etc. Meat collection is really good. Beef, Mutton, chicken. Highly recommend.

Based on the "convenience" and "supermarket" wording on the sign, I was expecting to find chips, pop, a box of crackers, maybe some Campbell's soup, etc. The "deli" had me picturing someone prepared to make a sandwich. Instead, I found an assortment of hookah equipment, a small quantity of chocolate bars, narrow aisles of canned/boxed or bulk bags of imported foods from the middle east (judging by the languages printed on them), and an elderly butcher behind a raw meat counter which contained mostly chicken quarters. Walls were lined with many fridges / freezers containing bags of meat - I presume off cuts from previous day's sales. Looking for a snack, I opted for a box of expired wagonwheel imitations, imported from Turkey.

Just bought bones for broth, he went out back and cut some for me then wrapped them up so I didn't see them until I got home. They had spider webs and mould inside them. DO NOT TRUST HIM!!!

Purchased a rump roast which I thought was boneless. Well to my surprise the bone was at least 1/2 of the roast. Extremely disappointed with the cut. In fact, it was two pieces of meat tied together so that the size of the bone was basically hidden☹️☹️. At least the dog might be happy with it

Seems great, got a freezer filler today haven't tried any of it yet. But from what I saw unpacking it, seemed well worth the price and a better deal than what I was receiving at another place. I'll def be going back and I'd recommend it to others
