Absolutely adore Wally Pars her in Guelph. The owners, Kathy and Bill show regulars great appreciation and have a well run store. The general manager Chris is as hardworking as he is funny. 10/10 best sausages in town, and a whole lot of other goodies in the realm of dinner treats.

Fantastic store to get whatever you need food wise for that backward bbq or cold winters night feast. Too many amazing selections to mention but take my word, whatever you pick you won’t be disappointed. Sausage on a bun is a great deal and super tasty. It’s owned and operated by a great family and their amazing staff. They treat you like family the second you walk in the door and will make sure you leave happy.

Such amazing food!!! Not only do they have a great selection of sausages, but they have a huge range of other frozen foods that went way beyond my expectations!!! I loved the pot pies that I got. I also can't recommend enough their hot sausages, which aren't too hot for anyone who's not a big fan of spicy food. So great for a summer BBQ, will definitely be coming back!!

Family owned and clearly filled with passion for what they are doing. My daughter and I were just there to check out the place and walked out with tons of exciting dishes!! Story time!! I was just taking my dog Pikka to the vet for a routine visit which is in the same parking lot as Wally Parr Sausages. My dog was scared as usual but this time he slipped his collar. He has done this before but never runs away. Today he booked it!! I was terrified he would go onto Gordon which is a very busy street. Pikka stopped when I called once he was in front of WPS. He started to return to me but as soon as I made a move to pick him up he booked it again... Onto Gordon. My heart dropped! I though for sure he was going to be hit. Just as Pikka ran into the street a wonderful someone from WPS appeared waving a delicious sausage for my bad dog. I grabbed the meat from them and crossed the street with it after Pikka. As soon as he saw the treat in my hand he wanted to smell it at which point I was able to pick him up and walk him back to the vet. These are the sort of people who make WPS such a wonderful place to shop. They are caring, kind people who helped me catch my run away pup when they didn't have to. Thank you nice person from Wally Parr Sausages!!

Brand new place in Guelph. They serve food at the location but you can also purchase their products frozen. I've tried Grandpa's sausage and the honey sausage and both are awesome. They have a rewards club you can also join by providing your last name and last 4 digits of your phone #. I highly suggest checking it out. Parking and entrance to the location is a bit of a pain, but great shop! Edit: Also try their buns, they are so good. Recommended to my neighbors and they say thought the sausage was great. Will definitely be going back.

I went to Wally Parr Sausage last Saturday and I don’t think I had ever had better sausages and fresh buns! Not only was the food delicious (because WOW!), but the workers were so friendly, which made the overall experience a memorable one. I’m less than 5 minutes away and cannot wait to go back!

Best customer service!! We were in the area (not from Guelph) and stopped in to get some sausage. We wanted to get a few more items but had a long drive home. They kindly gave us one of their freezer bags "on the house"! We had some incredible conversation, were treated like family, and were even given a few treats to take with us as we left. The entire staff is incredibly knowledgeable about their products and so warm and welcoming. Highly recommend shopping here. Thank you again for such a great experience!

Wally Parr's has just earned a top 5 spot on my "go to" places, especially when in need for top drawer street meat. I had my first hot sausage on a bun there this weekend and it was my first of many more to come. With Pierre's Poutine closing and no sign of Canadian Tire's bbq opening any time soon, I was going through hot dog withdrawal, then thankfully found Wally Parr. Next time I go I'm going to load up on their frozen offerings to enjoy on my barbecue at home.

Steaks were great, so tender and amazing. Sausage on the bun was top notch, you can taste the difference between these and ones from other stores, the topping area has so many great options. The key lime tarts are wonderful, the staff was super friendly, letting us walk around, recommending things to us and holding our stuff at the counter while we shopped. The store is small and there's so many products I cannot wait to try!

We had strip loin steak, stuffed baked potatoes, chicken breast and the 40 Creek BBQ sauce. All of it was delicious, the meat was good quality, and the customer service was wonderful. They were so friendly and prices were very reasonable. Will be going here for meat from now on!

I can’t believe this place doesn’t even serve food. It’s a glorified M&M meats. Very disappointed. If you actually want to try a good sausage it looks like you have to drive up the highway 6.

My wife and I came in to Guelph from Hamilton today and decided to pop in on our way home. We couldn't be happier that we did. These people are some of the warmest, friendliest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. This is one of those places that you go for the food and the experience. We walked out of the store and both looked at each other and said "what amazing people!" We're very happy to have found this gem and won't hesitate to make the trip up again just to support this business.

I haven't been to Wally Parr since I was a kid, so when I saw the flyer for this location in my mailbox, I rushed up. Even better than I remember. Purchased some sausages and buns as well as a take-home 15 minute meal and was not disappointed. I will definitely be back. To the reviewer Trevor: why so angry? The listing doesn't say restaurant. Sounds like you could use a sausage.

Really delicious food, all the sausages are great whether fresh from the store or frozen cooked at home. Our favourites are honey and extra hot. The hot pepper relish is amazing along with the Oktoberfest mustard. My boyfriend and I usually come once a week to stock up. My boyfriend also LOVES their cinnamon rolls!

Probably THE best customer service I have experienced in YEARS. They are SO friendly and helpful, and you definitely feel like a valued customer. The have SO much more than sausages - each time I go in I leave with much more than I planned on buying haha! FANTASTIC food, complete meal options, - I will never go back to M&M Meats, as they don't even come CLOSE to Wally Parr. Trust me, just go and see for yourself.

My family and I lovvvveeeee Wally Parrs honey sausages! We went in today to the Guelph location and bought 10 lbs worth of them! While we were cashing out, the owner treated us to lunch and gave us one of the most amazing cinnamon buns we've ever had! They excelled in their customer service and went above and beyond for us! Needless to say, we bought more cinnamon buns for home! We will certainly be returning! #customersforlife!

A new gem that opened in Guelph last year that is a must visit every time you do your grocery shopping. A family owned business that offers a wide variety of delicious products that has me leaving the store every time with something new to try. The owners, Bill and Cathy, and staff constantly go out of their way to get to know the customers and provide exceptional customer service. They've adopted extremely well with the new protocols during this pandemic and I feel very comfortable visiting the store. They also introduced an excellent curbside pickup system through their website that we recently used. My latest shopping experience had me deal with Michael at the store who went above and beyond to ensure a smooth process with my curbside pickup order, payment processing and delivery of product into my car. I highly recommend their freshly made buns, peameal bacon, steaks and sausage rolls - these items are on the shopping list every time we go!

We had been meaning to go here for some time, and finally did so yesterday. My advice to you is do not wait The sausages are high quality and great value. I had no problem with flare-ups on the bbq, and they were very flavourful. This store also had more meal options than I would have thought. I will be going back, even though it is across town from me.

I highly recommend this location! The staff was so kind and helpful. When I popped in, they had just pulled some sausages off of the grill and it smelled incredible. The selection of frozen goods for purchase is diverse, aesthetically organized, great packaging with thorough descriptions, prices are reasonable for the portions, and it all looks delicious. I can’t wait to try their brie and apple stuffed chicken! Ps - Don’t leave without a pack of the pecan tarts.
