This is the place to go in Guelph for excellent quality produce, deli meats, baked treats, prepared foods and dry goods. The selection may not be as large as the mega supermarkets but the quality is an order of magnitude higher (best avocados in town!). You can tell that they take care in selecting their produce. Angelino's might be my favorite store in Guelph. I recently telephoned to say I needed food trays, asap, for a family who had just lost a loved one. Although they normally request 48 hours notice, the good people at Angelino's stopped everything and prepared the trays for me. The food was fresh, delicious and beautifully arranged. It all looked so good, I ordered a meat platter, cheese platter and antipasto for a small family gathering. The trays were generous, delicious and enjoyed by all. Thank you to all the good people at Angelino's. You have a customer for life.

I used to absolutely love the prepared foods here but in recent years I've thought that the quality and quantity have gone down while prices have gone up. They do have nice fresh produce but I find the prices on that to be out of my price range as a parent. Service is usually friendly and there isn't typically long lineups.

This is a great small Italian grocery store. The place is clean and bright and has a wide variety of great Italian products from imported items, to great made fresh in-store specialties. I'm pretty sure I counted at least 7 different varieties of gnocchi. Every town should have a store like this - especially with the groan worthy puns on the sign in the parking lot.

The produce is simply first rate. I know there is a main food terminal that every store attends to pick up their goods - but the quality at Angelino's is considerably better. Don't know how they do it. Its like someone picked each piece of fruit or vegie by hand. The fresh orange juice is delicious - although there is so much pulp you may need a spoon. Yes, it is more expensive than a typical grocery store - but you get what you pay for. The flowers that come in each Thursday last so much longer than the ones at Zehrs or Longos. This is my go to store for quality. I love this market - especially now that covid considerations are important. They go the extra mils to ensure you sanitize and wear gloves and a mask before entering and finally have put in automatic doors.

Nice selection of good quality food and deli. They know how to cut and package their deli meats the way it should be done so the meat doesnt stick together. The gentleman helping us sliced the deli perfectly, which not many people know how to do ( especially mortadella...we are pickey about that). Didnt buy any produce but it looked fresh and neatly kept. Did notice pricing for produce was a bit high but I guess thats what you pay for quality. Just hoped they would carry a better selection of fresh bread and buns. Otherwise a nice place to go for good quality food.

Angelino’s hot table is always a good idea! Their hot sandwiches and deli sandwiches are generous portions, for reasonable price. A great stop to make for a summer meal too, for fresh sliced deli meats and cheese, and fresh rolls. Be sure to stop by the dessert case before checking out - the Napoleon and cannolis are our favourites!
