CUSTOMER ALWAYS CHECK YOUR EXPIRE DATES!!! I saw some frozen shrimp marked at $4.99. No sale sign, just a tag with $4.99 on a yellow background. I thought that a good deal and grabbed a few bags. Then I noticed all of the bags expire 2 days from now. I asked a staff member if they had any that were not going to expire in 2 days. I was told they were on sale because they were about to expire. Like said before, there was no sale signage, no original price, just $4.99 on a yellow background. The staff member told me the yellow background meant the item was on sale. Why didn't they just stick the pink half price stickers on?!? There was no signage stating that they would expire in 2 days. I told the staff member that, this is very deceptive, she agreed and said there's nothing she could do. She offered to take another 50% off, but that's not my issue. My issue is that this superstore is trying to trick people into buying nearly expired seafood. When I went to customer service to ask for a comment card, I was told they don't have any. I was given a piece of paper ripped out of a notebook. Very disappointed in this location.

Its not bad for a small town; however they sometimes don't have products I am looking for. Many times I go there, buckets are on the floor collecting water dripping from the ceiling which can be a slip or trip hazard. Overall not too bad but some improvements could be made.

I used to shop here years ago but when Costco came, I stopped going because Costco had better value and service. I was reminded of this last night when I went to the superstore for the first time in quite a while. Atlantic Superstore is not the store it once was. The biggest problem I see with this location and other is uncleanliness. See attached photos for what I saw one night when I was all set to purchase a turkey. It was repulsive. Some large insect and dirt. This is only one example. This is a 'grocery' store. Step it guys and get the place CLEAN please. I see nothing but sticky, dirty, grimy shelves and hand grime/ prints on the cooler doors/ glass. You sell food I put into my BODY so please CLEAN the stores.

Mexican Food is at the back end of the chip isle. Cream cheese/butter in the isle next to the freezers at the back. Liquid smoke on bottom shelf of BBQ sauce isle, gelatin is on the top shelf of the baking isle. Kim Chi is in the health food fridge behind the Pharmacy. They also separate the high end health foods from the basic groceries behind the Pharmacy.

I hate this store. They over charge for everything. You will get higher quality fruit and vegetables (and meat too) at Victory Meat Market and for better prices. Sobeys is also a cheaper place to buy groceries. Another thing that has always irritated me about this place are the swarms of fruit flies in the produce section. Oh, and let's not forget the perennially leaky roof.

Its exactly what you'd expect from a chain store, it's clean, the staff are approachable, and the store is well cared for. As for the gym at this location, I'd rate that at a 1/5. The men's room has no shower and the weight room is a complete joke. Its for cardio bunnies and that is it! No squat racks, only Smith machines FFS!

The only place you can do groceries in Grand Falls and get a good selection on dry, canned, fresh or frozen foods. The produce is varied and always looks great. Being able to order online and pick up groceries here is great. It's a Superstore with all the deals and services you would expect. DO BRING A DEBIT Or CREDIT CARD so you can go through the self checkouts or you will waste a good half hour standing in line. Store is super clean you can really appreciate this if you go in just after the night staff have worked so hard . Well organized store.

Both Northside and Southside store are quite good. On a few occasions I've had Southside staff cut me off when trying to get to a certain section (they weren't stocking shelves or moving a supply cart). Both stores would a higher rating if it weren't for how often I've encountered items on the shelf with no price.

Clean. Fast. Staff helped me find items quickly. The only issues I find is that it is a very big store so it's a long walk around. (currently getting better at walking from breaking an ankle) sometimes items are way cheaper than sobeys but hit or miss unless you follow the sales. Wish they had more cash registers open. I HATE those electronic self serve ones. Only good for when you have like 2 or 3 items.

Great place to buy the chicken meal deal. Always great chicken and wedges and the best strips, unless they close early and force you to go to their competitor across the street to purchase the equivalent meal only to throw it out because its disgusting. There are only two supermarkets, Sobeys/Superstore available in downtown area. This Superstore is larger and offer more variety of products than Sobeys on Regent Street. This is the best supermarket in the area without going uphill or across the bridge.
