Excellent beer selection, friendly faces, and a solid selection of vegetarian stuff (assorted veggie patties, for instance) from La Soyarie — much better than the bigger grocery stores in the area on both those counts. It doesn't take too many people in there for it to feel crowded, though, so expect to do polite aisle maneuvers and I doubt you could get around in there with a wheelchair or other mobility device.

BEWARE! This place sells bad meat and rotten vegetables, the owner is rude and shady and they DO NOT respect Covid-19 regulations AT ALL (last time I was there there were 12 people lined up INSIDE the store it's no bigger than a corner store). Do yourself a favour go to a real grocery store.

my boyfriend and I have been buying there for over 2 years. Today I tried to return a very reasonable quantity of bottles and the cashier refused. she was very impolite when I explained to her that it is the law to refund containers, started to talk to other customers and to yawn as if I was boring her. This is no way to treat a returning customer. I regret ever brigning my business there after being treated with such disrespect. We are reporting them to recyquebec. Hopefully in the future they respect the engagement they took while purchasing a permit to sell alcohol, which includes their obligation to refund empty containers. For us, we will spend our money somewhere else.

Favourite dep on Eddy and beyond - great selection of cheeses, beers, meat alternatives and a lot of other things you may not expect from your local corner store. Fruit/veg can be a bit expensive, but it is generally better quality than Giant Tiger across the street. Wonderful staff, always very friendly!
