I was standing there when she tried to walk by and she told me to move as she coughed, what kind of employee does that, then another time on a differet occasion I was walking out the door of the store with my wife and 2 sons and she asked me for a smoke while in her uniform, very unprofessional, when I called to complain to management they wanted to know if we knew each other from the past, hell no, i have never seen this weirdo before, managment never did a thing, so I guess its ok to be harrassed and spoken to like that while you shop there..very sad..

A handful of staff are friendly and efficient, but much of the time they don't know when to call for other associates to come to cash. Many wander around and just leave when they see a line up. Long waits in lines, not the first time I've had to leave empty handed (only needed 1 item) after waiting up to 20 minitues (being generous it was much longer at times) seems to always be with 1 particular associate. Sad. Will take my business elsewhere from now on :(

This store is great until you try to return something! No one told me the pillows I purchased would be final sale and then when I go to take it back they refuse. The worst part is I bought pillows at Wal-Mart and Costco previously over the years that I didn't like and both places happily refunded me. Asked where windshield ice scrapers were and was told outside if they have any. It was so dark I could not see them unless I took them towards the door where there was light so I could see them. They were also jammed so tightly in the rack it was hard to pull one out.

This is a well run store with nice staff who are trying hard. Such a useful blend of products, in a smaller space. We shop there every week and check the specials, although sometimes their stock runs out quickly. A much better, friendlier experience than Walmart.

The staff at the Giant Tiger are always so friendly and they work hard to make the experience good for you (opening more cashes, finding an item, etc). I love shopping here. The only downside is it carries less stock because this is a smaller store.
