Tried Sweet Meats for the first time today. I got the Philly cheese sandwich and friend got classic reuben. We swapped halves and tried both. The Philly was absolutely delicious with the slow cooked beef! The reuban had good potential but being spice lovers we got the spicy mustard which was a bit too empowering. Not like HOT hot but a straight to your nostrils like wasabi/horse raddish kind of spice. Also the lady who rang me through was super friendly! All in all we will be back :)

Edited 2021 * quality drop fairly hard. Still expensive. Bisque is still good. But i'd probably just go to Michelle's instead. No longer do homemade dressing. Really glad to see a sandwich shop up in thickwood. Great homade ceaser dressing, coming from man who doesn't like salads. You can customize your own sandwiches and the soups are good to. A little bit pricey, you'll drop 15 bucks on a soup and sandwich, but if your looking for quality search no further.

So good! The sandwiches are huge and well worth the modest price. The ingredients are fresh and full of flavour. I stop every time I'm in town, wether up in Thickwood or at the GM dealership in Gregoire.

Food is great but the man just threw a hissy fit at me and made me feel like i was a burden to them because THEY got MY sandwich wrong. Wasn't a big deal until he made it one. Really not impressed and wont be buying from here again unfortunately because i Love supporting local but the respect has to be there.

Just had a deli experience! Fast fresh and tasty, go spend 13 bucks on a sandwich at subway and get a sub, 13 bucks at sweet meats you get a piece of art and a hell of a sandwich.

Ordered a large sandwich, recieved a small. Taste of sandwich really lacking. Expect to get what I pay for. If soup was homemade, terrible, horrible taste and way too much pepper. I could have gone to 7-11 and bought soup and sandwich for way cheaper, and it would have tasted better. Feel bad I spent that amount of money on such a lousy tasting meal.

The Philly was deadly ! Fort Mac has a handful of sandwich shops. This is top 3. Up there with STACS and Michelle’s. The order of this list changes with the winds of hunger and taste.
