All vegetables and fruits are very fresh. Great variety of floral collection. Flowers prices are reasonable. Bakery section is good. Meals collection is very good. Many other grocery products available. There is a Pharmacy section inside this store. Pharmacy hours are Monday to Friday 9 am to 9 pm. Saturday to Sunday 10 am to 6 pm. Store size is big. They maintain selves very tidy and organized. Store is very neat and clean. Very good customer service. Don’t need to wait long time for paying. Lots of underground parking spots available. 45 minutes parking available in main parking lot. Recommend others to try this store.

The only place I grocery shop! Went there tonight with a watermelon that my spouse had previously bought, it was fermenting on the inside (no way to tell from the outside). The, I assume to be manager of some sort refunded me my money and then searched the store for another one, with no prevail he ended up giving me a free tray of fruit with watermelon! Awesome customer service!!

Smaller building but just as many groceries as bigger Save On Foods buildings. I've found this is possible by making the width of aisles skinnier to accommodate the volume of products. No self checkout but the employees sort and bag alot better than I can so I can't complain about that..lol

I personally love the way grocery stores, and super markets have evolved into places that are no longer a location of over-powering artificial lighting and slender aisles that don't allow more than one shopping cart or go-cart to access. The softer lit interior, the way the produce and other goods are presented is really attractive and tends to not cause one so much stress when trying to get to the end of their shopping list. This is a great grocery store, one I highly recommend.

Easily the best grocery store in town! Prices can be a bit higher than some places but the service is excellent! Staff are always stocking shelves but make sure to not get in your way. They also know where everything is and are always very friendly! I rarely have to wait more then a few minutes in line and they bag groceries very fast and keep the lines moving. Highly recommend shopping here! I shop here all of the time and have never had a bad experience.

Just had a great customer service experience thanks to Nelson! I was wandering around looking for parchment paper and Nelson noticed that I needed some help. I told him what I was looking for and he took me right to the location of the store where the parchment paper is normally located. Unfortunately, the store was out of stock. He checked the back of the store but there was no stock at the back of the store, either. I thought that was going to be the end of the story and I would have been satisfied with his efforts but Nelson didn't stop there. He made sure I left the store with some parchment paper and took me over to the bakery and pulled a few sheets so I can have what I needed for the evening. Really "above and beyond" customer service that deserves recognition! Way to go Nelson!

This is generally my go to store, I like the lay out of the store and find the produce generally in good shape, (when I do my own shopping) although with limited variety. My biggest issue with this store is the online shopping experience, absolutely poor. I have been back to this store with decaying produce on my shopping and to top the insult, charged at full price. I have also had products with tomorrows expiry date also charged at full price, how is this ok? This time, Save On ruined my Christmas, I found out that two of the things I needed to make my Christmas meal complete where out of date. This is not fair. Please get it right!

Save on Foods have savings every 2 weeks so you can shop and save every week! They have alot of different kinds of groceries. I had wonderful help when my husband wanted social tea biscuits! I was amazed, thank you to Maureen. When I want something special I go Save on . They always have it. So if you want something special go to Save on. The prices are reasonable for Covid and the staff are friendly and helpful. I love Fort St James.

Disappointing that on customer appreciation day you are out of 18.9L bottle caps. Then when I tried to exchange for new bottles (more expensive) I wasn’t allowed cause it didn’t have the “right” sticker. The company will replace the sticker, it shouldn’t matter a 18.9L bottle is just that a bottle! I’m new to the city and will now shop elsewhere for water and more.

Terrible store for parking a vehicle

Rating decreased from four stars because my customer service experience has gotten worse at this location. I frequently ask staff if they have a product and am told no, only for me to find it later. This has happened more than half a dozen times. As well, many items are regularly out of stock. I frequently find moldy produce and have accidentally purchased an extremely burnt rotisserie chicken that was mostly blackened. When I spoke to them they said it was “caramelized.” They need to learn to stop caramelizing it about half an hour earlier to prevent it from becoming straight up burnt. Above ground parking can be hard to find at peak times, although there is an elevator within the building.

Was not happy with this store during the covid 19 pandemic they do not offer washrooms to public nore douse 99 percent of the town i am very discussed with the town in general as the nehbouring town vanderhoof has many open washrooms to the public as they have staff sanitizing and restricting people in washrooms but your still able to use them as their is a need for public bathrooms

Horrible Bakery. I ordered a birthday cake in two weeks in advance at the bakery. On the pickup day (the birthday), to my surprise the staff told me that the order was not ready and they could not find my order in the file! I spoke to the bakery manager, she looked into the order file and said-- oh someone put your order for the following week! She apologized and promised the cake could be picked up in couple of hours, sure enough the cake was ready but not as ordered also it was stalled. Spoke to the manager again and she gave a set of candles for free ….worst experience, I will never buy any bakery items from there again.

the music is annoying my boyfriend and I always guest what's playing before we walk into the store, one of us is usually right on the artist playing. Its dark in side they should clean the paint off the windows .... I love the cashiers most of them theres one that should just go home. most of everyone who works there is nice and helpful!
