We were a group of volunteers that took almost 2 hours to get our food!!!!! The food orders WHEN they came were cold and wrong. People cane and ate and left before we even got any appetizers. The manager never came over even once when it was clear we were NOT impressed.

They brought my food 25 mins later with all the spices I was allergic to even though I told plain with no spices ar all. I couldn't have been any clearer, thank God I was paying attention. Terrible service, the waitress was in a walking comba she didnt even look at us or check in at any point in time. The Sushi came out of the fridge and the batter on the fish was like battered jerky Decided to give it another go on Valentine's day as we like the atmosphere and wine. What a difference a waitress can make, two thumbs up to you Frankie. You were just the right amount of attentiveness to our table as well as great personality. The food this time around was hot and fresh. Thanks for a great dining experience.

When it comes to great quality food served fresh I would highly recommend Earl's kitchen + Bar. The Rib eye and the butter chicken are me and the wife's favorite. (I was disappointed by the fish and chips however, small portions and OK overall) Also the pumpkin pie was absolutely delicious, looked made inhouse and tasted like it too! It's a must try if its available! Prices are not TOO crazy considering the quality. Highly recommended.

Not what it use to be. The food has always been average but the talented wait staff made up for that. The talent is now gone. If in town go to the Keg you can thank me later. During our visit the service read slow even with a minimum lunch crowd. I tried to order a couple selections of their menu only to be told that they were out. The third visit to the table I finally told the waitress to bring what every they had available. Ended up with a pasta dish when all I wanted was fish and chips.

I worked for earls for many years both here and in Jasper. The menu is great but if the food gets overcooked and sending out old buns for the sandwiches it just ruins the experience. They need to train the cooks or run quality control cause i won't go back to this one for a very long time .

Atmosphere here is always amazing and so is the food. Earl's never disappoints as the food is always great quality. The staff are attentive are check on you just often enough where your drinks are always filled but you dont feel crowded. Their outdoor seating is wonderful but I wish it wasn't beside such a busy main road. The prices can be expensive but they do have menu items that are comfortable prices. I do believe that for the quality of their food their prices are fair. Earl's can be both a casual brunch or diner with a coworker, a fun night out with some drinks and friends or a fancy date night spot for a special occasion.

Few issues with my experience here tonight. First i already knew it would be a bit pricey but I expected things to be better than it was. The picture of a dirty napkin is from what i rubbed off BOTH SIDES of the rim of my glass. Then after inspecting all the glasses were grimy (especially around the rim), then my food was way too saucy. I ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl and it was ok for the first few bites but after a while it felt like it was getting saltier and saltier. My sister ordered the chicken ceasar salad (and she orders that often), and said it was very bland. Not sure who is in charge at this location but they need to fix this because they shouldn’t be able to charge as much as they do for the level of service we received. Won’t be going here again.

My first experience with this earls was average the food was ok and the service was the same. I mentioned to the shift leader Olga that I was unhappy with the service, and she took care of me and my date very well. I was impressed with the way she handled my complaint. On my next rotation here I decided to come back for the delicious clam chowder soup and ribs, the bartender Kate was awesome, very friendly. The food came so quick even the server that brought it was surprised. I must say that my experience here was beyond great and I would recommend this place to everyone.

Posting reviews of restaurants can be challenging as each individual experience can vary based on the kitchen staff and the waitress you have each experience. But overall I think this is one of the best places in town. 9/10 times my server is awesome, engaging and polite. (It's also nice that they have some male servers in the mix) As for the food it is almost always perfect, and even on the off day when the chefs have not impressed me it still beets most other places on their best day. The menu speaks for itself, my only complaint is that it is so hard to decide. Most places I find a small assortment of dishes that look appealing but this place almost everything on the menu is mouthwatering. In the last 3 or 4 times here I have met the managers all the way from the kitchen, to the bar and general manager and have even met the owner and a gentleman who used to run and own the place before moving. I'm giving it 5 stars because I cant think of a better place to eat in town.

Happy hour is between 2 and 5 and 9 to close. They have specials on food and drinks. So if you catching a late lunch or early dinner, your timing will be good. Most people were enjoying the patio which looked great. We sat inside for some reason (wife and MIL) and It was super clean. Food and service was excellent.

Fuel by Earl's was okay. I have a serious food allergy (celiac disease). Earls has a gluten sensitive menu which is helpful but definitely doesn't put my mind at ease. Nobody knows how careful the kitchen staff is. I wasn't assured that my food was going to be prepared super carefully. Our waitress was great about it as she said she would make a note of the allergy on the food ticket. If Earl's continues to have a gluten sensitive menu they should definitely think about having some gluten free beer in stock such as Red Bridge, Bards, New Grist, etc.

The food at Earls Restaurants is absolutely delicious. All of their bread in made in-house daily, and the fresh vegetables are great for the health conscious guest. Earls employs Red Seal certified chefs, ensuring the quality (and creativeness) of the meal. I particularly love the cajun chicken sandwich with yam fries and chipotle mayo (to dip), and well as the combo cajun chicken and ribs (delicious fall-off-the-bone ribs). The service is also very good. All of the servers go through a 20-hour food knowledge intensive training, that ensures only the best serve you. All around, great food, and great people!

Went there for take out. The service was not good. It took a long time to take out order. She took a long time bring our drinks and when she brought them the drinks weren't what we ordered. It took an hour to get our food and when we did it was cold. There were two group of people that came in after us and they had there food eaten before we got our food. We got the food home and the veggies were wilted. I ordered a burger with cheese and bacon. Both were missing. my friends food the produce was wilted as well. I told my friend that maybe they were doing a special job of making our food because they were taking so long. It was disappointing and a wast of 100$ :(

I usually like Earls in general. The staff is friendly and the service and food is good. Today though at this restaurant was different. The waitress came over to me while I was sitting in the lounge and plainly said ‘want a drink’. I ordered a beer which took just about ten minutes to drop at the table in an empty restaurant. She then took my order which I ordered a burger and fries (I asked for her suggestion but she turned out useless and said “what ever you want”). The burger took 25 minutes to get out. Again, not busy, the inside was 1/4 full and a few people on the patio. The burger was on the dry side but I got no quality check until I literally had one bite left. Other people around me got both their apps and mains in the time I waited. She then scoffed when I only tipped her 10%.

The only reason I will give my review 2 stars is because the food is was as good as it always is when I've had supper at an Earls. The service on the other hand is another matter entirely. Whether it was the kitchen messing up or our server not entering in our orders when we placed them; waiting for our meals for over an hour and a half is utterly ridiculous. I would never reccomend coming to Earl's to Ft. Mac to anyone. We arrived at 5pm & explained that we needed to be out at 6:30pm and didn't get our meals until 6:40pm. Would like to add-- after speaking with the manager on our way out he did apologize profusely for the terrible experience and offered a very decent gift card in apology. Nicely done sir.

I thought it would be nice to stay here, wrong. I was checking In for a room and the lady at the desk gave me the amount (the price) it was over 600 hundred dollars! I thought I was going crazy! They served actually good food for the most part. I only really ordered the spaghetti with no cheese, their cheeses aren't fresh. The room that I stayed in was good it was cold all night but then it was very hot the next night.

The food was good but several mistakes were made on our orders. One of my friends was brought the wrong meal and it took more than 30 min to bring out the correct one. Another person's meal was brought out 10 min late with not explanation. We spoke to the manager who did nothing but throw the waitress under the bus and apologize. Ordered: 1 Fettuchini Alfredo $14.50 1 Yam Fries $8.74 While the ambiance and service is above average, the food value is poor. The Fettuchini amounted to a small handful of pasta. The yam fries could fit in a small british teacup. We asked the waitress why the plate of Fettuchini was so small; she told us we should have added chicken. The manager explained that all portions are weighed. While this cost cutting technique makes the accountant in the small back office smile with content, it leaves the customer gnawing at the rubberized upholstery. Earls shareholders may enjoy the idea of extraordinary cost cutting, customers do not.

I truly love earls. However; I do find that in the past few years that the quality of this location has gone down. Their staff do not seem as knowledgable and the food seems rushed out without being checked. That being said, you can't go wrong with some of the menu items: Chili Chicken, Dynamite Roll and the ribs are some of my faves. Right now they are doing a Steak + Sushi meal which is great if you love red meat and dynamite rolls. Overall, I would give it a 4 however due to recent experiences, I give it a 3.

I frequently visited this place on weekends while I was working 80km north of Ft.McMurray. The food is good, the prices are okay, The service sometimes is terrible and they can be snobby but other times it is fine and most of the waitresses are pretty hot. Nice looking place too. Let me start out with saying the food was good. My first mistake was making a reservation I wasn't told that there was an automatic 18% gratuity tacked on when you make a reservation. Tuesday night in Fort McMurray in June the place was empty. The second thing that was unfortunate was the wait staff seemed inexperienced I understand that everybody needs training and that's all fine and dandy but my whole group commented on it being obvious that the waitress seemed inexperienced. My last mistake was not checking the bill thoroughly before paying we were charged for two bottles of wine when we only had one plus the 18% on that plus the GST added up to almost 35 extra dollars and it was half price wine night. So after asking the waitress to sort out the extra charge she informed me that the manager was unable to do refunds and she would give a gift card to be used at a later date I told her that doesn't work very well on my company expense report. After a period of time the manager told me that she could actually do a refund and redo the charges and took my card away from the table to an office for what seemed like an eternity only to return to tell me that she tried several times to void the charges and it did not work ended up getting a gift card for the extra charges now I'm going to have to explain to my supervisor what went wrong and beg forgiveness. While waiting for my credit card to be returned to me I had need to use the washroom facilities upon going into the washroom I noted that it was extremely dirty, stuff on the walls that I cannot even describe. The floors the fixtures everything was extremely dirty. It didn't look like it had been cleaned in weeks if not months. Upon returning to my table I noticed that the floors and everything were in need of vacuuming and whatnot and the place is actually looking pretty run down quite disappointed with the whole thing except for the food, the food was good unfortunately the inexperience of the manager and the wait staff lended to a disappointing experience. Very likely not to return for a meal in the near or distant future.

Earls is probably my favorite place to eat in Fort McMurray. The food is amazing. Between $3.50 bar rail happy hour shots and the best steak in town, it makes for a perfect afternoon. And the staff are fantastic! If you haven't been, I highly recommend you check it out.

I ordered Fettuccine alfredo with blackened chicken. The sauce should be on the side so it's not oil and fat stuck to noodles by the time its delivered. The chicken was almost jerky and that's not an exaggeration. I took pictures it was the mind boggling someone could over cook chicken that bad. Warm potatoe salad had raw potatoes in it. I paid 50$ for good meal I only ate the soup I ordered rest was thrown out :(. disappointed because it's always been great in restaurant when I ate there

Had to click at least one star to post although I give this place two thumbs down. Ate there one time only and had to go to emerge. Diagnosis was suspected food poisoning. I overheard a co-worker say that he took his wife there for their anniversary. Said they found what appeared to be makeup prints on their plates and glasses. Since they were trying to enjoy their evening, they didn't make a fuss. Said he paid for the "experience" simply to spare "the poor waitresses feelings" and they left.
