This is a great butcher shop!!!! The owner has freshly cut thick porterhouse and tomahawk ribeyes. Their bacon is awesome!!! Sausage patties are great as well. The pepperettes are out of this world! Customer service is fantastic.

Love the Meat Shoppe! We get our raw dog food there for our 80lb German Shepherd. Best price and my dog loves it. Chicken and beef, mixed with green beans and yams. Human food wise, also love it!!! Great prices. We always get our sausages there and chicken pot pies! Very helpful staff. They load up my car full for dog food and offer to help bring my food out as I normally have my child with me and my hands are full enough Keep up the great work and customer service Meat Shoppe!

I have been going every week to this meat shop for about 3 years. The staff are very nice. In the beginning of Covid a couple of times when I have ordered in advance they have given me someone else's order and I have had to go back to return it. On Thursday when I got home and emptied the box they gave me it was my turn not to receive something on my order. I called them to say that they forgot my chicken legs, they asked me if I was sure and I said I was because I was the one who unpacked the box. So they said they would give me the chicken legs. Then an hour later they called to ask me if it had fallen off in my car. I said I was too tired to check but I was sure it did not fall out of the box. I checked later and nothing had fallen out. I went the next day to pick up the remainder of my order. The owner asked me for my bill and I said I did not have one. (I never keep bills or even bother to take them from this store as I never needed to keep one before this incident). He then said that did I think that he should believe me (I have been going weekly for 3 years). I just looked at him. He then handed me my order and said "Here is your second set of chickens" and I said NO, it is my first set. I will never be returning to this store. He has never been super friendly but he was never not nice either. I do not know what happened. Maybe he is against Asians?

We get our raw dog food from them and our dog loves it. We also get their freezer packs about 3/4 times a year. The packs are great for us, we get all the protein we need from a variety of meats. The staff are always friendly and willing to help make our meat buying experience pleasurable. Unlike other butchers or grocery stores we don't feel ripped off when we leave with our purchase.

Owner is always friendly, but one of lady who's put on her own hat was very rude me. Because I was politely asked another staff to cut the knuckle bone for my dog I purchased it at the shop. Right away the lady cut me short / interrupted between other staff & me, " No, we can"t ! " I was very disappointed ,and out of the meat shop .

Fantastic pepperettes. Very nice service. Considering the smaller quarters, the building was nice laid out and could allow for a few people in the store, while still being physically distant. Pricing was reasonable on most of the items. More pricier for some of the items not on sale, but otherwise good. Very friendly staff. Would return again.

This is a fantastic butcher with fantastic service! The selection is great and the quality of the meat is always top notch. We tried the sweet heat sausage the other day and it was a favourite even with a family member who isn't the biggest fan of sausage. We have an English Mastiff who used to be on a top quality kibble diet. We started noticing some dry patches of skin and patchy hair loss. A friend told us about the raw food diet for dogs and to come here to get it. We figured we'd give it a shot. We started on the original blend and within a couple of months everything was cleared up. He's been on it every since! Can't recommend this butcher enough.

[NOV.9/2018 REVIEW UPDATE - ONE STAR] I'm updating my original review (which is listed below this updated review) & downgrading my review from three stars to one star. Here's why... If you read my original review (below) you'd see I had trouble getting a straight answer from one of their staff members when I went in to meet them face to face & buy from them. I sent them an email asking questions about their pricing this past weekend (Nov. 3rd or 4th). Today is November 9th. STILL no reply from them! Apparently they're not serious about doing business. They had five business days now to reply to my weekend query & still no response. They may think my business isn't bringing in enough (approximately $100 biweekly) to treat me with respect, but I would've been a repeat customer as I would be buying from them every two weeks for my dogs raw diet. The Meat Shoppe has decent selection, but when it comes to customer service, it's amateur hour. Totally put off by how I was ignored. Definitely not returning. But now I'm stuck with the task of looking for another butcher's shop! :( -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [ORIGINAL REVIEW - THREE STARS] Good selection. Pricing is certainly not the cheapest, but it's not expensive either. I bought ten pounds of beef heart today. They sell beef heart at a nearby local chain store as well, but their inventory is always so low, they could never fulfill my order. So that's why I sought a full service butchers shop. I was a bit put off by not being able to get a straight answer by one of their staff members; a brunette. Perhaps it was a miscommunication or some misunderstanding. I asked her what their cheapest cut of meat was. She answered whatever was on display is what they had. I looked at the window where they keep the meats on display, but didn't see beef heart anywhere on display. Fortunately I called ahead of time & confirmed they had it. I was also comfortable with the pricing, but couldn't help but wonder if beef heart wasn't on display, what other items were not on display that they carry that may have been cheaper. I'll definitely be returning. Overall it was a positive experience. The gentlemen I dealt with were very friendly (one did the cuts & the other rang my order up).

This is a must for buying any type of meat! The staff there are so amazingly helpful and knowledgeable. They also have several dishes that are made in house and they are fabulous. The shepherd's pie is fantastic!
