I have been coming here for years for meat packs and mainly chicken Italian sausages. Came in about 3 weeks ago ordered 5 bags of chicken sausage. Just got through the last bag...... every bag every single sausage was untied at each end, so upon opening the bag a quarter of the sausage was out of the casing. This is very annoying as this would typically happen if you over cook the sausage, not if it never even touched a pan. Never use to be like this before. Whoever is making sausage there right now needs to be re-educated in how to properly tie casings off. I don’t know if I will be back. Really aggravated by this.

They have the best sausage in Buffalo. Chicken sausage too, that has a great blend of spinach and feta. There twice baked potatoes are also amazing. All around great place.

Every payday I'm stop in at johnnys to stock up. They have great meats and homemade meals that are ready to be cooked. Thursday is breaded cutlet day. The cutlets are fully cooked grab some of there homemade sauce, cheese and pasta and have a great chicken parm. You also have to try the chicken sausage with feta and spinach.

Very Clean, well organized, beautiful plentiful foods. The staff and butchers are very pleasant and kind. I am Vegan but shop here. Onions, Potatoes, Pickled items, Canned Tomatoes, Pastas, Prepared foods (frozen) Fresh Bread (daily), "Cora" Brand prepared tomato Sauce BTW, If you haven't eaten Cora pasta Sauces you are missing a real treat because in my opinion it is absolutely glorious tasting! Yesterday I asked the butcher to order Ravioli called "Lilly's Fresh Pasta, in two stuffing options and yes they will have it in the shop in a flash. I am very excited to try it. We must shop local support local to keep our neighborhood vibrant. Thank you Johnnie's Meats!

This is the perfect little place to get meat and a few cold cuts I especially love their homemade corned beef brisket especially when it's warm. They only have the finest Meats in the best cuts at a great price definitely worth checking out.

I like fresh cuts of meat, no additives no preservatives just good old fashioned meats cut to order good quality steaks. I love the Feta & parsley Chicken sausage awesome. They have some cooked chicken cutlets on Thursday delicious and Fish in Friday! Prices are very reasonable compared to what you get@ a place like Wegmans or Dash's. Dash's have awesome cuts of beef you may not get all the cuts you like but I think if you ask they will get it for you.

Very friendly and helpful. My go to for meat in the city! Love the staff, beautiful selections of meat and cold cuts available. If you are a small family, premade meals always available. I found this useful with my elderly grandparents! I always buy their meatballs instead of making my own!

I cannot speak on the quality of the meat, as when I requested an item, turkey thighs, only whole was available and no mention of cutting one down to serve my needs was suggested despite being a butcher's shop. It may still be a stand up place otherwise, but the fact that they did not even suggest the basic service provider by such a place means I do not intend to shop there in the future.

Our favorite meat market in Buffalo. I don't live out that way but it's a must stop anytime I'm in the area. Highly recommend their Italian sausages. They are fantastic.
