Afternoon guy is really nice and helpful. He's always greeting customers and suoer helpful. This is not the Avondale that is convenient for me at all but I go to it because I know I'll be treated as a customer should.

Friendly and helpful staff. Nina is awesome and really makes a difference at this location. I've noticed this store is more clean and organized than in the past. The coffee is always ready first thing and I'm always greeted with a smile and a "good morning".

This particular avondale store is very local for me, the employees are both friendly and helpful. The one employee Kyle is most helpful, he readily answers any inquiries about the stores products that I may ask him. He is an outstanding person who has been placed into the cashier spot. This man REALLY deserves a raise. He is more than helpful. All 3 employees that I have met who work at this location are all very friendly and honest. Best avondale I have ever been to because of the employees who work in it! ☆☆☆☆☆

The girls who work here are great but I must say that their hot drink machine needs to be replaced, it's REALLY outdated and it's too short for the 20oz cups! Head office should definitely upgrade it for us ????

I entered this store directly behind a customer who was headed to the counter just as I was. To my surprise, before he even acknowledged her being in front of me, he looked at me and said “do I have a question”. I was stunned and responded “why would I have a question there’s a customer in front of me. I decided not to proceed with my purchase and went on to exit the store when he said “why are you sensitive twice”. I wish I didn’t have to say this but as a person who has experienced racism, this sure brought back memories. My family and I were visiting the area and had just finished dinner at the neighbouring restaurant. It was a very negative experience and I hope this isn’t a reflection of that community. Peter- sorry for the misunderstanding. The lady you followed into the store is an elderly regular who I don’t see very often due to her covid concerns. Having no customers lined up to pay I had left the cash register and went to the far end of the counter (where the plexiglass ends) to greet her and ask how’s she’s been. But before I could ask I realized you had stopped behind her so I asked if you had a question. In your shock I guess you didn’t realize that the actual cash register (where people line up to pay) is located 10 ft further down the counter. Hence my assumption that you likely wished to ask me a question. Genuinely sorry you took offence and chose to walk out rather than stay and sort the misunderstanding out. Give peace a chance!
