I've always had a good experience at this place. I haven't had much in the way of their prepared foods, but the meat has always been excellent. I'd strongly recommend trying out any of their selection of frozen sausages as well; they have to have two dozen varieties or more and they are all excellent. It took awhile for them to get set up at their new location, but everything is 100% now and I find parking and access to be easier.

I love cooking steak and over the past year I have visited some of the top butcher shops in the city and I have to say the quality and selection at Medium Rare cannot be beat. Connie and staff are super friendly and are always willing to give you cooking tips on their amazing products. Totally worth checking out.

The meat is quality but the service could be better. We waited 20 minutes before we were served despite trying to talk to the staff. The cashier roller her eyes and shoved us out the door. The products really are good and we will be going back, but things could be better.

I had a great experience here. The food, the quality, the service and the atmosphere was great. I had some laughs (with I assume the owners, husband and wife) while I waited for my product and felt like I was really well taken care of. They are a little distance from me but I will definitely keep coming to them for my future business.

Service isn’t that great! Preorder months ahead and when picking up they start preparing removing meat from vacuum sealed plastic??? Thought this was fresh??? I’m paying top dollar and treated like I’m a hassle to them. Will never go again. I’d rather goto Aurora meats at Dixie/Burnhamthorpe....so Friendly!!! Quality fresh meats!! I’d rather hit Loblaws for dry aged. Least You know it’s done properly and safely handled This place is a mess!! Everything just tossed and thrown all over the freezers!! When charging top dollar you might want to present your products nicely on the shelves. Will never return with so many awesome butchers in this city and the Etobicoke area.

I have not gone back here , since I received a bad bag of ground beef, that smelled like oil or gasoline. Also for a local butcher they need to start putting meat on sale , which they never do ! Instead their in the habbit of freezing their old meat and charging extremely high prices ! Nasso tasso is way better seeing how I get 5 pounds of fresh delicious ground beef for less than 10$ and this place 1pound = 12/15$

We have been using their catering services for our house parties for a few years now. The simplicity of the process is impressive. The excellent quality of food and always on-time service makes us coming back again and again. We receive countless compliments on the variety of dishes and freshness. If you want a headache-free professionally catered event - this is the place to go.

I haven't even left the parking lot yet and I just have to say the hospitality and generosity here is unmatched. A true Toronto gem. Absolutely the kindest people and the products look amazing!! Update: the products ARE AMAZING. The dry aged prime rib was packed full of flavour.

I went in to buy 2 racks of ribs...assuming they would be fresh. The lady serving me removed them from a plastic package and asked me when I was going to eat them. The smell off the meat was absolutely disgusting. I know that ribs do initially smell like sulfur prior to boiling but I slow cooked them covered in sauce for 8 hours and they tasted the same as they smelled. I now realize that she gave me the pre-packaged ribs that were probably very close the the expiration date or she would have given me the package instead of taking them out of the plastic and wrapping them in paper. $43.00 later...and disgusted!

Went to this establishment for the first time, wish it were sooner. This was also the first time I purchased dry aged steak. The meat turned out phenomenally. Really made our Sunday dinner one to remember. Many thanks to the generous and helpful lady behind the counter.

This was not our first turkey from Medium Rare, however, it was our first turkey cooked with stuffing, gravy and stock from Medium Rare. OMG, what flavour all around, great bird, great stuffing, great gravy, everything was perfect! A job well done, thanks to Medium Rare for a great Thanksgiving dinner!

Very lucky to have this fantastic family business on our doorstep. The highest quality beef, ribs, turkey, duck, prosciutto, home made sausages and sauces. The list goes on and on. Cannot recommend Connie and co. highly enough!

Unlike any other butcher Ive ever been to (in Canada and the US)..as someone working in the food industry the past 27 years, I can tell you this is THE PLACE for restaurant quality beef- no other place comes close..,as for Connie, you cant help but fall in love with her she's one of a kind :)

twice if have shopped there and twice the service has been fantastic and the quality of the steaks and sausages second to none. They didnt have bone in rib-eyes when i went, so they went into the locker and cut fresh ones for me. Last time I tried dry aged porterhouse, even better! Highly recommend. As to the ambience of the shop i didnt smell cigarette smoke nor have poor experience with quality or service so strikes me as an anomaly. Will absolutely continue to shop here
