If you haven't gone here definitely stop by. They have a good range of proteins in that tiny nook.. smoked cheese, biltong, burgers, steaks, whole org chickens, pate, Jerky, eggs etc. I'd go regularly if they had organic free range ground chicken in their freezer.

Bought a varied selection of their dried sausage/charcuterie offerings. Made a big mistake by not asking the prices before purchasing. The prices are exhorbitant ! Paid $7 for a tiny sausage- was $60 a kilo. Holy smokes what next ! Anyway was on holiday and they were good but most expensive offerings I’ve ever come across- and I’m a charcuterie aficionado. You live and learn.

What a great store. We were looking for bacon that hasn't been smoked, thus free of nitrites. My son is autistic and traditional bacon makes him 'wonky' (for lack of other terms), but we all love bacon. They were able to thin slice some pig belly for us, just like regular bacon. It was the best thing! And because we've been buying about 2kg every couple of weeks, they now carry it in the freezer all the time. The service is great, and the owner is one awesome dude!

Great service, excellent quality and a true bang for your buck. With meat these days, you get what you pay for, but McLennan's is the absolute best of both worlds. Grass Fed Beef! Blood Pudding! Haggis! Wouldn't ever go anywhere else.

My wife and I went in to McLennans for the first time and ordered a couple sausages that we then to to the beach to bbq. I had a lamb rosemary and she had the chorizo. They were outstanding. So full of flavor. So juicy. The best sausages we ever had. The bacon wrapped scallops were awesome as well. We look forward to returning.

Ok fellow carnivores, you want fresh , wholesome, organically raised meat that has flavors out of this universe, this is the place for you! Whether its beef chicken lamb or pork and venison, the selection and quality is the best. Their sausages are delightful with loads of variety plus the dried sausage choices are great. I shop here 3-4 times a week and the service is awesome!

The man on the phone had terrible business phone call manners. Did not care about my business at all. I was a repeat costumer because I could order some cuts and pay for them when picked up. Did not care about this and just couldn't care less he lost the purchase. Also asked if they had seafood and he said not really.

Our family really appreciates this butcher shop for the quality of meats and the extensive variety available. The only reason we are not giving 5 stars is due to the service of one of the employees in particular, who CONSISTENTLY puts in much more than what we have asked for. For example, giving us 6 chicken breasts when we've asked for 4. Only to find, once we have gotten home, that we've been given much more in every package that what we requested. Bringing the cost, each visit, anywhere from $25-30 more that we required. We believe that this is important enough to bring to the attention of management, as we, like most, budget monthly for their groceries.
