We like the sausage and pepperoni, lineups get long on the weekends. I would suggest the weekdays if you can manage it. So busy on weekends!

The best Ukrainian sausage in Edmonton and surrounding area, been my favorite since I was a kid. It's been consistent since I first tasted it unlike it's competition. If you want the best most authentic Ukrainian recipe this is your best bet, the meat is always nicely smoked to a dark reddish brown with a very snappy casing, just the right amount of pepper and very delicious taste, the fat is very fine ( not chunky ) and spread out through out the sausage. The sausage is dry from the smoke but that is expected. If you want a moist sausage then it's usually more pink and lacks smoke and flavor. Their pepporoni is what I usually go there for, it's the best I've ever had. I grew up down the street from stawnichys meat processing and watched their quality deteriorate slowly for twenty years from Mass producing. Now marchyshyns is my go to sausage shop.

You go for the kielbasa. The non descript interior, the socially challenged staff...that doesnt matter. You are there for the kielbasa usually 2 for $30-33 . Yes, it is worth it.

Went in yesterday for my semi yearly purchase, as always Mary and the clan were hard at work making the best sausage and pepperoni I have ever tasted. I left with a smile on my face, 5 rings of sausage and 10 links of pepperoni. I have never suffered from buyers remorse or a greasy gut ache.

Expensive! I figured I would give this place a try because it was close by. I got 2 rings of garlic sausage for $32. Thats right, $18 a ring! Based on the reviews I hoped it would be worth it. I was severely disappointed. The sausage was dry and had no garlic taste what so ever. When I tried running it through a deli slicer set at 3/16" thickness, the sausage crumbled rather than cut. When you walk into the shop, it is a small room with a few freezers and display cases, nothing more.There is no atmosphere to this place, its cold and sterile( not in a hygienic way either) looking. For a place that claims to have been open for 89 years ( according to their website) I expected a showroom rather than some hole in the wall. I wont be returning.

Great service, and the best sausage in western Canada. My wife's family have been eating Marchyshyn's sausage for more then 60 years. It's been a tradition to have Marchyshyn's for every family gathering.

Well a comment on the man behind the counter without gloves, is a small fopaux.but he always handles the product and his hands are probably cleaner then people with gloves. Make a point and watch people with gloves touching their face and not changing them with gloves is called cross contamination . Now that said, the glove rule is there for a reason. with in reason.

Definately could use some show cases with product and pricing. Total lack of friendly environment. I was handed meat from the man behind the counter without gloves on. That is just wrong.
