Kim Fat meats are excellent. Never had a bad piece of meat. Owner takes pride in his business. I've always buy my brisket meat and slice thinned meat from them for my pho. The prices are very reasonable and I would say for the quality of the cut you get, it would be slightly cheaper than big box stores meat. Place is not your big box store where the face of the package looks nice, but open it up and it's all fat underneath. Great presentation and quality when you buy from here. I have to try out the hot cooked foods one day. Only heard good things about the food.

Kim Fat Market is a wonderful hidden gem that more people need to uncover. An old school family owned butcher shop that is true to their craft. Offering premium quality cuts of meat, live fish and shell fish at unbelievable value below the typical prices seen at supermarkets. Meat is always fresh and never frozen or plumped. We found other butchers to have high prices so like most people we used to buy our meat from Costco, thinking we were getting the best value. However after discovering Kim Fat Market we get premium butcher shop quality at lower prices than we were paying at Costco or any grocery store. Also we love the friendly welcoming family owned atmosphere, nothing is better when going to the market for meat feels like visiting your friend or neighbour. I highly recommend Kim Fat Market to anyone. It’s always a wonderful shopping experience and great value for your money. Also parking is free!

Thank you, for continuing to be a part of the community. I love this family owned butcher shop. Great cuts of meat. Excellent customer service. Amazing tasty food to go (order ahead). I highly recommend this butcher shop, Phong and his team are the best.

We have been buying meats (which are hormone free, and cheaper than the equivalent meats from local markets) from Kim Fat for a while, and their hotpot beef is the best we have ever tried. We recently ordered the hotpot platter, and aside from a tiny hiccup (which they immediately fixed), everything was perfect. The food was extremely tasty and fresh, there was a huge variety, and the small size easily fed the 4 of us for 1 meal, plus enough leftovers for us (two people) for at least 1-2 more meals! Honestly this place is a gem, and we highly recommend everyone to try!

My family and I have been coming here to get our meat and misc grocery products for years. Awesome service and selection not to mention awesome prices. If you don't see a cut of meat on display, just ask! They have more selection in the back (including the expensive cuts too). Take out food on order as well. Nothing but good reviews here.

Fresh pork chops, spare ribs, chicken breast/thighs, and beef short ribs all ordered from Kim Fat Market's in-house butcher! Amazing quality, service, and value! Ordered ahead, came in, happy to wait in line, Kat saw us waiting, and grabbed our order and walked it straight to the till for us ????. Tonight's pork chops were ????! Cooked them on the flat grill. Thanks Kat, and Kim Fat for your essential services in keeping us all fed, our freezers and bellies full!

I first found out about Kim Fat Market on a Chinatown tour. Phong, the owner and butcher, steered me in the right direction for a dish I was making. I also saw that he did catering and decided the next time there was a work function, I would try it. After all, supporting local is important to me. Tonight we had our Christmas party so I ordered from Kim Fat. Phong helped me with the menu, adding items to make sure there were a variety of dishes. He made sure I knew that their catering menu was just a guideline and if there was anything we wanted, he would make it. The food was incredible! Everyone was impressed with the quality. I was worried about having enough food so I messaged him the day of to add more items to the menu. He was very accommodating and made it happen. It turned out the portions were massive and we had a lot of leftover food! I will definitely be using Kim Fat’s catering services again! Thanks Phong for the amazing dinner!!

Kim Fat Market catered my wedding and the food was plentiful and delicious! We were able to accommodate our vegan and vegetarian friends, as well as us omnivores. They are a family owned business, and if you check out their instagram you'll see how much love is put into everything they do.

Great spring rolls that you can cook at home. Reasonable prices on sauces etc. Also have a butcher area in the back that offers good quality meat products. A must try if you are into spring rolls.

I ordered 100 or more deep fried spring rolls for my colleagues at work a few times! Everybody loves them and keeps asking me to come back to get more! Lol. You could get the frozen ones which cost less to save them at home as well! Good job Kim Fat team! Hugh

Wonderful local market for excellent meat and delicious prepared food. If you haven't tried their food, its a must! The meat is grain fed and hormone free and the quality and cut of the product is far better then any grocery store. Owners are amazing to communicate with and there is certainly pride in their cuts of meat and with their prepared food. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

This shop is a living cheat, called to get a price quote for some pork trimmings, quoted $2.0 Lb drive thirty minutes to pick it up and tells me $6.00 Lb and that I must have been talking to someone else. These guys are crooks with no moral commerce.

Worst place to deal with, agree with other reviewer where favorites are played and different prices are given. Switch supplier on a certain meat/grocery and expect other items to increase in price or your business being cut off. Cocky owners who always argue with you that the prices they have are the best.

Gem of a little grocery store, has a great butcher and fresh seafood section ag the back. There is also a cooked food menu that you can order ahead for pickup. Items on the menu are all reasonably priced. Haven't had the chance to try them yet but looking forward to soon
