WOW! Ordered last night and it was my first time eating from A1 meat shop. Best Indian food in Edmonton. Excellent portions and the flavour was perfect! I ordered the chicken tikka and Fish fry. Highly recommend!

I bought 5 Lb of goat meat for a high price of $12.99 per Lb and 75% of it was mere bones. Other places have only $8.00 per Lb. I called and talked to the owner. They are doing it intentionally. There should be local authorities to control this kind of looting. There are so many negatives reviews here itself.

Useless and money wastage I ordered last night and the chicken was stinking badly when I called up at the restaurant..the lady told me to bring it back .. i am a mother of a small baby and it’s not possible for me to go to the restaurant and complaint about their chicken item .. first time order it and highly disappointing..never recommend to anyone

A1 is great! you get greeted as if you are royalty, the shop is tidy, they have such great, friendly staff who informed me of in-store promotions and future store promotions, good variety of chicken - thighs are our favorite and i do not mind if they have a small upcharge for the thighs. great flavors to choose from, they are informative in letting you know how much spicy heat each flavor holds. A1 was recommended to us by a colleague and we will continue to recommend to friends. A1 was great during BBQ season and our neighbors were always jealous and curious as to what we were grilling. 10/10

Here from Toronto to check out this meat shop. I was blown away with the quality and selection of the products. I thought we had great products in Toronto but this place was nothing I have ever tasted before. We BBQ 5 different merinations and each one was better than the first. I wish they would open a location in Brampton, Mississauga or Toronto. Highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy because its finger licking good. 5 stars

I had to try this place for myself as I was told the chicken is better than restaurant quality. With the many different wonderful flavors, I had to try a variety of them and to my surprise this chicken was AMAZING! Very clean store, fresh quality chicken, and full of flavour. You will not be disappointed. Highly recommend this place for all of your occasions.

I bought Goat meat today , has more bones than meat , even it doesn’t look fresh , spend 2 hours to cook , still not cooked properly, seems like they thaw and freeze it again ..will not come at this location at all.but staff was nice and friendly

I've read a few negative comments here.. Mostly by some internet warriors..acceptance is none of my concerns..I'm not here to justify anything but I would request these jokers to get their facts right. Firstly by some Manprit about the quality of goat meat she bought...she was sold something mixed with something...our product is cut as per the customers need in front of him or her as our band saw is not hidden....that nullifies the mix of SOMETHING WITH SOMETHING Secondly, I read some Mr. Sharma complain about the paneer Tikka being old... I suggest sharma to check out the shelf life of paneer before posting these comments. Invoices to prove freshness of our product line are available...as we got nothing to hide. Come in and request them...sly!! We are true to our quality and standard.. It's best to clarify facts before posting vested interest dictated reviews. Best Regards to all of you

Very bard experience never recommend anyone to go there. I order fish and it was not well cooked. Taste hard instead of soft and it smells. I call them back tell them politely to remake my order they said ok and when I got there for pick up the remake order they did not even start making my order. No one say hey when I first went there no thank you no customer service. And next day some one call me and saying his name is Raj from A1 meat shop and he start saying me I am a customer bikao person, yelling, abusing on the phone and asking me the address where I am he wants to do a physical fight he said. Very disrespectful and mannerless person if he is the owner. He don’t deserve to run a business. Never recommend anyone to go at A1 meat shop.

We bumped into the shop owner on a recent trip to Jasper. He was kind enough to offer some of his tandoori chicken ( and another type of marinaded chicken which we cooked over an open fire). Best chicken I can remember having. Definitely will swing by the store next time we’re in Edmonton.

So we were here once I loved it food love really nice cuts meet came back a second time and had the most scariest experience ever the girl comes out from the back doesn’t wash her hands grabs the chicken that we want it out of the container without putting gloves on her hands then we’re trying to explain to her that that’s a big no-no and all she could do was make excusesWhy she’s not wearing gloves then she’s touching everything without washing Her hands everything out in the front is covered in chicken bacteria that are known as salmonella I would not eat the chicken my friends Did and they spent the rest of the night sick ....I spent half of my life working in the kitchen and if we did that would be blacklisted from the camps And And she should’ve had a hairnet on

I wish i can give them 0 star went there first time to buy goat meat and they gave me something else and mixed with something else. When we cooked that meat smells so bad and you can’t even eat. I have bought meat from here multiple times. They don’t give anything on the goat meat instead of bones. I ordered uncooked goat and when cooked the meat it was just bones. Where does the meat go?

Dear business owner, you have posted the flags on the street saying 15% off. I ordered twice and never got discount. When I asked the staff they gave me weird look and it looked like that they are not aware of the discount. Meanwhile another staff came and said its for orders over $50. I didn't wanted to argue but it does not say anything like that on those flags. You should remove the flags, if you cannot honor the discount. I tried you but I think there are better options available. good bye
