This has to be one of the best places in all the HRM to get fresh, free range local meats. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Prices are reasonable and the meat is delicious! Make sure you try their roast ham! They also sell locally sourced honey and gluten free bakery items and bread!

My personal "occasional" sin. Meat and produce available to take home, but I go for the prepared meals and baked goods (alot, if not all, gluten-free - I don't care about that myself but some might). I believe their meat comes from their own and maybe other nearby farms, so it's awesome food and mostly locally sourced if that's your thing. Give it a try and you may become a happy sinner like me. It might be more than "occasional"...

I really liked their pork sausages. I bought also eggs and the egg yolks had a nice dark yellow color. Not pale ones that you get from large chains stores. I will go back.

We LOVE the Free Range Store. Everything we have purchased here has been so delicious and fresh! The meat is amazing quality. We have tried a number of the sausages and premade dinners as well and they are all excellent. As a mum of two little kids, this place is a total lifesaver... our toddler cannot get enough of their meals!
