The place was nice and clean. Great selection of local products. Never heard of or seen this place before. It was a quick stop before heading into Surrey. Every where I go, I value costumer service. As I went to look around and shop with my sister, nobody greeted us or asked if we needed help. For like 20 minutes. There was only 1 other costumer ahead of us. I felt unnoticed and unheard as I had questions but the staff were not approachable and did not seem friendly towards a certain shade of brown maybe? Who knows what all 6 or so staff had going on but as a guest willing to spend $ there I did not feel like a valued guest. We walked out with $60 worth of stuff. Only 1 friendly guy there working at the till. I could have been happy walking out with more than $100 worth of healthy local grub!!! But again, costumer service was lacking engagement with us. I like details, I like learning about the local stuff and finding something new. I have a family of 7. I can be a loyal customer if I recieve a good experience. This is why I value costumer service the most. First impressions mean a lot, especially for local businesses. My first impression was that they were a little snobby and not willing to approach me with information that could have been useful in my shop. Chances of me returning are 3/5

Great place to buy fresh meat at a reasonable price! We would make the drive out here every other week to stock up on meat and we come here for lunch while we are at it. The meatball, breakfast, tuna melt sandwhiches and Mexican burrito are our favorite!

What a superb one stop shop! Newmans Fine Foods is a beautiful butcher & deli shop, with so many amazing product offerings. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly, which made my shopping experience all the more better. Didn't hurt that I was able to pick up my cold cuts and a delicious porchetta sandwich at the same time! Never shop on an empty stomach... :)

Each time I have shopped there the owner has made me feel so uncomfortable by publicly shaming me for one thing or another in front of other customers such as not ordering ahead to cut $100 worth of meat....you’d think they would be more than happy to accommodate that ! I would love to support this business but have left each time feeling like my day was ruined. No more shopping here and will not be recommending this business. Customer service is not his strong point !

THE BEST!! All staff are very friendly & eager to help you! Great service & the homemade sandwiches to the homemade meat pastry's are the best I have tasted in a very long time. They have a wide variety of meat products with really good quality to choose from. The staff are always helpful if you ever needed recommendations or advice on their products. GO TRY THEM!!

Walked behind the wrong side of the counter (whoopsies, there’s just so much to look at!) but the guys were great and we had a good laugh. If you’re looking for top quality meat and great service, stop by Newman’s. The prices are higher but you get what you pay for. Also, I highly recommend their cheese and charcuterie boards for gatherings. Top notch. ????????

Definitely not the cheapest option out there for meats, but there aren't too many actual retail butchers out there anymore... A great selection of niche pastas, ingredients & prepared frozen foods compliments the huge selection of fresh meats of all types. It's always a good sign when there are good looking tomahawks available in the showcase ????????

$11 for a Panini made of WonderBread? I've heard such great things about this place and really wanted to give it a chance. I grabbed a coffee from Nats next door and proceeded to order the Roast Beef Panini sandwich. I was expecting perhaps a sandwich 6-9" sandwich on a baguette or artisan bread filled with meat, toppings etc! I waited about 5 Minutes for the sandwich and the lady behind the counter handed it over and I got a Sandwich that resembled a kids lunch from elementary school. It was the size of regular slice of bread ..(wonder-bread) or something similar had about 3-4 slices of roast beef and some other toppings as well. I mean for $4-5 it would be okay...but $11? seriously this is a joke there is nothing "fine" about this place....except for the fact that its a Joke.

Got our meat pack this past friday and Sunday we had the stew beef ,like the slogan goes for m&m peanuts melts in your mouth not your hands is what the stew beef did when we were eating it . It is so tender it does melt in your mouth

Love Newmans, just can't figure out why so many people don't bother to wear masks when they shop there. The staff wear masks and have to deal with customers all day who think they don't have to.

I was pretty excited when I saw they are now carrying The Dumpling King’s dumplings. I was surprised at the vast array of products available in this medium sized space. We also met the owner/operator of Mr.Cooper’s Pies there when he came in to re-stock. They seem to carry a lot of locally made items. It was pretty busy on a Sat. morning. Parking is limited, with a golf course beside. Prices are what you’d expect for a small, specialty store (bring a fat wallet).

Edit: Management immediately reached out to me to apologize for the service I recieved after I left this review. I look forward to giving them a second chance. I waited at the deli counter and meat counter without having a single employee offer to assist me. After I had helped myself the gentleman at the till ignored me while he spent the next 5 minutes on the phone. When he finished his call he completely ignored me and wandered away, leaving me and my goods at the till. I understand the guy working the register was busy on the call but at least acknowledge the customer standing there. It's a shame because everything looked great!

Newmans is definitley the best place to purchase top quality meats, lunch or even ice cream if you’re in sunny Tsawwassen. If u are a carnivore, you have to try the dry aged ribeye steaks because they are just to die for! Sandwiches are also very tasty and affordable! They also have soups, salads and ready made meals. We will come back for sure! Keep up the great work guys!

Awesome local meat shop. I live nearby so I always want to support stores like this. I almost always grab their Canadian ribeye and new york. Today I tried their import ribeye and new york, BUT on my... my family all had to spit out the meat immediately... I was told the import cuts were from Australia. But regardless where they came from this type of quality is unacceptable. It was so bad that I don't even want to go back to give these guys a second chance. I am giving a 4 star rating just because of the handful of previously delightful Canadian meat I bought. For anyone who visit, try avoiding their import meat.

FRADULENT!! I bought two (what they called) “veal cutlets”. It was nothing more than a ground meat dusted—read—hidden- under some bread crumbs. It might have been veal but that would’ve been hard to prove. It was terrible. It was no more a “veal cutlet” than a “Big Mac” is a hamburger. Shame on you!
