I bought brand new winter tires (Nordic) and rim set for my wife car (2011HondaCRV) last year . It cost me about 1,100CS. With new tires, the car had a pulling problem even driving in town. I did not aware that bcz I did not drive. Last month (in March) I took to Kelowna, I realised that driving on highway made me scary: having right pull and shaking the steering wheel, and very unstable condition on the speed around 90km/h. I dare not to come back with that situation, so I need to fix that. Because of four days visit, I did not get the appointment at Canadian tires with short notice. So, I did with other professional tire center at Okkanagan. They found out the brand new tires have the problems. Long to short, I went back to Canadian Tire_Dawson Creek. Tires are under warrantee. Auto Service Center asked me to pay service fee to check the problems. When I asked the certainty of the outcome, they can not guarantee if they can fix the problem or not. The technician even told me that put the weight on the other side and drive to balance the pull, and they gave the several reason about the drive fault, etc. They are just making money from me without providing the good services. They asked me more money for finding out the problem, but no grantee. Tires are under warrantee, it should not be charge for additional services as those are not user fault. I really unhappy about the purchase and their services. I decided that I will never ever doing the business with Canadian Tire again in my life. Very Bad Service!

Typical Canadian Tire Found in a small Ontario city. Have used auto service for a number of e-tests while working in southern Ontario, and while they seem chronically understaffed for the amount of auto service business they do, service manager is always friendly and accommodating.

I find the staff for the most part very helpful here. The challenge I have is every time I need any products for the instant pot pressure cooker they always seem to be out of stock.(eg. 8qt Inside lid rings, 8 qt instant pots, 8 qt liner pots , and any cooking accessories for that size pot) Staff in this department have not been knowledgeable at all. Do your research for your instant pot pressure cooker before stopping here.

NO STARS DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE TO THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT. They scammed me out of 714$. Were rude, required a deposit prior to looking at my vehicle. Told me my vehicle needed a new motor and would cost 6000$. When I went get my vehicle towed to a real mechanic, my new car battery was dead. They showed no concern at all. IF YOU BRING YOUR VEHICLE TO THE CANADIAN TIRE DAWSON CREEK YOU WILL MOST LIKELY BE SCAMMED OUT OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. Try micron performance, they fixed my vehicle at a reasonable price and treated me like a human being.

Very friendly customer service employees ........., an employee has already gone to dinner while she was not finished answering me. The employees of the caisses are probably the most smiling. If we forget the service, it's a very good store, everything is in its place and we do not look too long. I highly recommend . These guys saved my butt. This location did not have what I needed to make an inverter they had in stock work for my application so Matt and Bob were able to modify existing jumper cables to work with the inverter for my application. These guys saved my he day. Props to northern ingenuity. I would not have been able to make this work otherwise. And Canadian Tire, if you read this, your staff are what makes your mark in the community, not fancy marketing. These guys deserve recognition.

Weirdest Canadian Tire I've ever been to. The help desk is the least helpful place possibly anywhere.This one woman just yells at you! You can tell the other staff are embarrassed but they're grateful that she's not yelling at them for once so they won't help you. Some days the floor staff are extremely helpful and other days they are either nowhere to be found or rude. I don't go to this store if I can help it. The automotive section is the WORST. If they think they can charge you extra they will and they didn't even tighten my tires enough to keep them on my car when I did go there. It's a small town so sometimes you've got to go there; but if you can go somewhere else, I would.

Just finished a big shop here today, myself and another gentleman we’re waiting in the cash area when a man I assume was the manager stepped up and ran a till while he waited for another cashier to arrive. I let the gentleman behind me go first as he had only two items, I then proceeded to the other cashier when he was free. A minute later, the ‘manager’ approached as I was putting the last of my items into my cart, he asked me if I’d like help to my vehicle! Wow! I said I was fine, but wow! I didn’t know service like this was still offered especially in the larger store. I didn’t need assistance, but it was so very nice to have the offer extended. *as I was loading my truck, this same man, (manager?), was out in the parking lot with a broom and scoop doing a tidy up of his store lot - nice to see that kind of care and pride. Thanks for a great experience :)

Went to buy gloves for working on a dirtbike, and they had literally 0 latex/nitrile gloves, only gardening gloves!! 4 boxes per person and yet they're so understocked that this is the only Canadian Tire that has none left in stock. Have to travel 140 km to the nearest store in Flin. And what? They CAN NOT find them! - They have one from shelf open but CAN NOT sell it without manager. - To buy online They CAN NOT deliver it because it is oversized item! Period! Two huge boxes can not be found! I wasted 3 hours of my time and about 60 CAD for gas to face such an unprofessional attitude!

The staff is always good but the shopping and quality is hit and miss. And I purchased a set of hex head sockets that I thought were on sale but were only on sale online so I had to order them online while I was standing there staring at them (because the store doesn't honor online only pricing) and then wait for the email telling me my order is in the very next day and make a second trip to the store. I am from Alberta in Snow Lake on Holidays and attended the Flin Flon Location to purchase a pressure washer that was in the flyer for $399 (of which the store said it had 2 in stock and 2 were showing in stock on line). It was a 2.5 hour drive to get to the Flin Flon store over some pretty crappy roads only to find out that the store didn’t have stock as they were misplaced or possibly stolen ? After 40 minutes of looking, I was told by the Assistant Manager that there was none in stock and there was nothing they could do to help the situation. They could sell me another one that was on sale for $100 more without any additional discount.... I asked if there was anything they could do to better the price a little as I really wanted the other one... and was told “NO” and that was final. After committing to a 5 hour road trip to get a Father’s Day Gift... I did not intend to return empty handed and ended up purchasing a better one at WalMart for $389... I do not think this Canadian Tire should have sent me packing so easily !! Canadian Tire is a great Store with a lot of good Staff and good Product !! The Management team at this store could learn a lesson or two from the previous Management or others successful stores - Customer Service is where it counts ! On a good note.... I contacted the Canadian Tire Head Office Customer Service department and they were more than helpful (Hats off to them).

My 18 year old daughter and friend were traveling alone from the US to Toronto when they encountered car trouble. CAA towed them here. The guys not only went out if their way to get the required part, but stayed late to get the car fixed and back on the road. They charged a fair price and called the girls the next day to make sure they got to their destination OK. Would definitely recommend.

This is the 3rd time that I've been to this store recently, and every time I'm looking for staff to help. What the...? If you want to sell you need staff. Today I waited in line at the automotive departments for 15min only to be told that the belt I needed was in the seasonal dept. It wasn't and when I returned to the automotive department the line up was 8 deep. The place was packed with people wandering around looking for help. I thought it was a convenience having a Canadian Tire in town...I won't be going back. Ay least the Port Colborne store and Niagara Falls have staff to talk to!

I bought a set of tires online, went and got them, they were paid in full online. The store reversed the payment, I didn't realize that this happened,and the store did not make me aware. Then they took the money from my account without my knowledge or permission, and caused my account to be overdrawn. I would have returned the money that was rightfully theirs but I wasn't contacted, or made aware of what had happened. This mistake is on them, but it's me who will have to deal with all the fallout from my account being overdrawn. I am very frustrated and will be lodging a formal complaint against the company, I am hopeful that this mess will be dealt with accordingly.

Came here for a block heater cable for my Sunfire. I talked to the lady who was working at the automotive parts desk where she asked me about my car's engine and confirmed details with me. She told me the price and handed me the part. I thought the price seemed higher than I had expected so I took a quick look at their selection and realised she had given me the incorrect part. The employee had given me the cable for an ecotec engine, despite having just confirmed that my engine was not an ecotec. The cable she had given me would not have fit my vehicle. I gave Napa Auto Parts a call and in minutes they had me on my way with the correct cable for a fraction of the cost.

I need to let you know about Rachelle who is the manager at Canadian Tire. I’m from Winnipeg and the Canadian Tire in Flin Flon was the only store who had in stock what I was looking for. 5 kayaks! I asked to speak with the manager and Rachelle answered my call. Customer service is so lacking these days but not if you are talking with Rachelle! My request was out of the ordinary and Rachelle went above and beyond to get those 5 kayaks to Winnipeg. Rachelle returned my call and worked hard at her end to see that I was happy.
