This is a regular for me. Love their meats, we only get our ground beef here now. The quality is excellent, and we find it leaner than the extra-lean stuff in stores! We also loooooove the elk burgers. And they sell jellies that go super well with a nice St. Albert brie on baguette... Everything here is fantastic!

There's a friendly doe that eats cornmeal right out of your hand and it's very awesome. There are also bison you can watch graze and eat from hay bales. I recommend going there with kids, watching their reaction when seeing a full grown bison for the first time is amazing. Also their selection of meat is excellent and it's delicious stuff.

Very friendly but painfully disorganized. Took 4 days to hear anything about my order. Part of my order was not in stock and they could not give me a time line when they would get more. For delivery you are given a 5 hour window, food came in a plastic bag. They also forgot to pack half my order which only had about 6 items. They were kind enough to say they would add in an extra item for the inconvenience. Now I will have to wait until Friday between 1pm and 6pm and hope I am home when they get there, very frustrating. Update: I was given the wrong items, told the right ones would be delivered at a specific time and they did not show up. Will not be ordering from here again. Absolute disaster.

When they called to schedule a delivery I told them the current day didn't work after 6:00pm because we had to be up a 2:00am the next morning. They then sent the delivery that night at 8:30 waking up the entire house. When I told the driver I had asked them to deliver another time in the week he just shrugged and said oh well.

I am very disappointed. We ordered a fresh turkey for Easter and we ended up with a frozen turkey. My wife called today and was told they do not have fresh but she was told when placing the order we could get fresh. My wife called and the only response was you could bring it back. Our dinner is tomorrow and finding a fresh farm turkey now won’t happen. We have been very happy with Bearbrook until now. This was a big mistake. To top it off they charged us the same price foe this turkey which obviously is not going to be the same quality as fresh!!! Very unhappy

Bought prime roast and three striploin steaks, cost about $190. Just had both within the week. It was ok, not super tender as I was expecting for the money I spent. Cooked medium rare to medium. Nothing special in terms of tenderness. In my view Costco is much better at half the cost. Mostly like won't buy beef again there. May try the poultry. The owner was nice though.

The staff are funny, cheerful and eager to help. They can answer any question you might have about the raising of the animals or useless trivia about the animals they raise. Prices are very acceptable for the quality of the meat and the practice standards that are employed at this farm. They have a great selection and also carry extra food items such as pies made by the local curch group (although they where sold out of my favorite, cherry) locally made hams, hot sauces, meringue bits and pastas! A definite must for any foodie or person who wants to try fresh and new things and support local products!

As someone who wants to hunt but can't cause of a back surgery last year I can say I am completely satisfied with bearbrook farms. I ordered about 7lbs of ground elk and buffalo, after eating the burger it tastes amazing. It is a win win when you order or go there yourself with amazing game meat, and amazing service. I cannot say enough good things.
