This Butcher Shop corresponds to the category of Gourmet grocery store.
Great selection of products that you do not find in supermarkets!
Half workers are nice and half are so rude. Food is good.
Very rude personal - particularly cashier. Tagging wrong prices on the items - usual practice. Customer service is really bad.
Good selection of european stuff, the place is freshly renovated !
Nice place, easy to access and park, have all meals on place, the Russian and Eastern Europe products.
Very good ethnic food. Cold meet. Good service
Great selection of European foods. Nice staff and good prices. Love all their teas and cheeses!
I love this store! European and mostly romanian products are making our life easier and distance from home doesn't look so big!
A must visit place. unique food that can't be found any where else. They been serving us very well for the last 9 years. Highly recommended
Although the food isn't too bad at this place I wanted to review the terrible service you will receive here. The cashier lady has absolutely no sense of customer service and disrespects you in front of your face. Furthermore, be prepared to wait extremely long to pay for your basket, and if you want some prepared food you will have to wait quite some time as well. Do not expect any kind of decent customer service at this place; the owners are completely blinded by what it means to treat customers the way they would like to be treated. I've also purchased some items that were already expired while my friends have purchased food products that were either expired or nearing expiry. I will never go again.
European grocery store with quality food, own homemade takeaway food, excellent service and super popular to the European community and immigrants from the Soviet Union????
Always fresh
Clean European grocery store Caters to the Russian community. Some nice take out food. Salads are good. The deli selection is very good. I especially like there biolife breads. The negative is the staff doesn't speak French or English. If your Russian your fine. A smile goes a long way even if you don't speak English or French. .
Extremely rude every single time!!!
They have local apples all the year around, love it!
What a gem of a place - excellent home cooked foods, pastries - everything you need in one convenient local
Great products (although not always available but fresh!) cant find in other stores, very tasty made food also!
great store for deli meats and various delicacies from eastern europe. must visit
Lots of choices of European and Russian food. Some food is ready to eat, but also raw choices. Dairy, sausages, cheeses, grains and cereals, candies and chocolates, cakes, etc. Lots of tasty choices.
Great little place with excellent prices on grocery items. A lot of imported dry and canned goods, particular;y from Slavic countries. Amazing smoked and cured fish counter and deli. Not a kosher establishment (for those in the neighborhood shopping for kosher meat and fish, this is not the place). Large parking lot.
This is one of the best Marche. The quality is good You can find alot of things in here It's cheaper compared to IGA
Lots of imported goods from eastern Europe. I enjoy the diversity of pickled veggies.
Kind of small but a good amount of east-european products if you're into that.
Awesome place, good food and good prices for their local products. I cant say the same for the products like american or canadian snacks, but regardless, good grocery store
Great place to get hot food for lunch or bring home a meal that you swear was prepared for royalty from there buffet for a reasonable price, as well as cold salads, cheeses, pickled tomatoes, all this and more from a grocery store. You must try there desserts.
Good prices a lot of variety, better prices than other east European shops
Great store. Sell fruits, vegetables, meat, chicken, cheese, yummy cakes......
Food is good and all but the cashier with the very short hair has been extremely rude to my husband and I many times. Not appreciated!
Russian treats! A bit smaller than the metro Namur location, but neater and better organized
Good store but just a little bit pricy.
I love going here every time I come to the skatepark behind it, there's so many different sweets and candy's from different east European regions, the staff is also very nice and polite.
More variety of different products an updated service, better rangement with clear description, enough space for social distancing .. hope it Will mentain 1st day service for everyday...
I like the store. Has a very wide variety of Polish and other European good. The bakery counter will make you drool.
Nice staff. Great variety of baked goods and cheeses. Much less choice than the store neat Namur metro.
As usual you need to be vigilant there. Strudel and vegetables with mold inside are easily staying at the shelf together with salads that the package blows its cap within 30 minutes and dry bagels in package smelling and taste like mold even with its best before date is still good. 2 stars instead of 1 as at least they accept all the junk back and return the money (so far) but tired to return something every time after shopping there. Management should think twice about that strategy and make price discounts on stuck things before they get mold and before customers will stop shopping there. Why to keep high prices till the very end then trough away food? BTW friends warned me about small dry bagels but I didn't believe until my turn arrived and it arrived on the 3rd time I bought them. Suspiciously fast I would say.
You can find products from the countries of the former USSR. I bought Georgian Khinkali and I like it very much. Also bought cheese Suluguni, its some kind of cheese but not Suluguni, not even close.
Great renovation! Friendly staff. Neat.
Love their pastry section!
Love this store but the prices became astronomical. For instance, 7.99 for a braided bun (small) with a filling? Small tiny container of salad 5,6,7 dollars? ????♀️
Good supermarket, eastern european products, and mostly everybody speaks russian here so learn your russian
Not a bad place for buying a snack or shopping.
Great Russian market witha variety of products worth buying, for it's quality and price, like the cheese spread, ready to eat crepes (for those lazy moments), shrimps, ready made seafood salads, cold cuts...
Smells weird, but have plenty of foreign groceries. Nice bakery/diary and ready to go section
They have products that you can not find else where. It's amazing to have some kind of market in Montreal. Only here you can buy different kind of products from Armenia and Russia.
You will find anything from groceries to meats and fish as well as cakes and home-made food there, but the price is higher than other stores in this area.
It is à European market, I’m not sure what to say I stop to buy something to drink I went out with tons of things , hot table from fish to everything, spices, meat, sweet, vegy, drink, knish, cake , coffee etc..... All product are from Europe, all good all yummy, I think I weight a few pounds more because of that market lol . Go visit believe me it’s worth the visit .
Love the selection and helpful staff, very friendly local market
The best european food
Russian store with plenty of fruits and vegetables also readymade foods and pastries and cakes. All delicious. Many products from Russia, Poland etc. Great deli and cheese counter too.
Very good grocery store! There is everything you usually need, plus Eastern European deli: caviar, perogi, smoked meat etc.
I absolutely love this store ...the fresh made food is delicious especially the cabbage rolls ...the staff is so nice...worth checking out
Great soup, desserts and service
I love the buffet section the most. Whenever I am too tired of cooking, I go grab the homemade food there. Friendly service is not expected, though.
a cute little grocery store with fresh food. They have a good bunch of vegetarian friendly options like pasta salads, sugary roasted potatoes, cheese filled pasteries and tons of different types of chocolates. There are no proper facilities who come there to eat.
Love the prepared foods. Love their beef cabbage rolls, when they get to make them.
Great choice of eastern European foods
Amazing variety of choices, fresh food. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Authenthic european homemade food . Love it.
My favorite grocery store! I shop there every week. The prepared food is fantastic as well as the customer service. It is always a pleasure to shop there.
The selection of european and mediterranean products on offer is impressive and everything looks fresh and enticing. However, the rudeness of the woman at the cash, old enough that she should have mastered basic politeness, was a deal breaker for any future visit. The fact that she could not return a simple smile and 'bonjour' should make it obvious to management that she ought to be working in the back, not at the cash. Muttering and loudly sighing was just too much rudeness on a beautiful, sunny, mild, quiet wednesday morning!
The name of the business has changed from Ella’s Deli to that if a new growing grocery chain in Montreal quite recently, but the store remains the same great source of bonne bouches and one-stop grocery shopping. The European specialty can be found everywhere in the store, which features also ready-made meals of the greatest taste ever.
Excellent hot food and fresh patissery counter, Eastern European groceries, cashier could be friendlier
They are the sweetest people in a store that i have seen in a while.... always friendly and willing to help.... and on top of that the prices are always good
Good variety of products. One can easily spend over 100 dollars :) however be careful, some prices are a bit high. The temptation may be great; resist :) I did not find expired products, maybe they addressed that problem.
Nice little grocery store with fresh food offerings. They have a handful of vegetarian friendly options like pasta salads, sugary roasted potatoes, cheese filled pasteries and tons and tons of different russian chocolates. There are no tables to sit down and eat at so everything here is set up for self serve/take out. Nice little place.
Clean grocery store. They’re Buffet section is good and well priced
Most of the time groceries are good and service courteous.
Many interesting, mostly Eastern-European, products. But not a replacement for your regular supermarket.
If you hot feed up with local supermarkets foods, its place to go! Good food, especially if you are single and lazy to cook, you can find a variety of ready foods to take out.
I am not impressed, they have small food court, I paid 10$ for small plate of mixed ordinary food, which I found very expensive! Nice and hard working people, but you can find interesting variety of russian (пирожки) food.
Good selection of the East European food.
Hi, the supermarket is super, and after the renowation is so easy to shop.the space is bigger , everything is nicely placed. I like that place, and the vegetables and fruits are always fresh and good looking, they have also a very competitive prices, so if you never visited the place, probably now is the time to go there and you will find a very original, and pretty boxes of sweets just for a great gift for under the Xmas tree.????????????????????
I love this store!Lots of choices of European end Russian food!
Products are not bad. I like the variety but think their prices are a bit too high. The biggest negative of this place is the poor customer service.
Staff not real helpful, angry faces, not polite, unwilling to work or help clients but VERY LGBT FRIENDLY. THATS NICE!!!!
I just hear what Allison posted on social media about your store, I am definitly not going there again. What a horrible experience she had with the cashier. I wouldnt tell any people of color to waste their time in this store, nore contribute financially to their growth. #Blacklivesmatter
A store any of Eastern Europeans can't live without! Why, make a visit and you'll easily figure it out! ;)
Wonderful staff there who are always ready to serve . Keep it up .
Rude, unfriendly staff, high prices, will never buy there again, stay away.
I do shopping here minimum ones a week!
Good place good prices. Go to there if you want to buy and save money
