One of my favorite spots to visit in Indianapolis. We make a two hour drive from Fort Wayne just to shop and eat at Turchetti's. Today we stopped in with my family & enjoyed all of our food. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I can't wait to visit again!

ordered a pastrami sandwich and unsweetened ice tea. Pastrami taste really good. The best one I had so far. Would definitely came back again for the sandwich. Ice tea is good as well. The service was ok, more like self service restaurant. You go order by yourself, then wait for the meal to come. server seems really busy, waking super fast in the restaurant. Have to go to the desk to tell them I want a refill for the tea and some napkin.

Oh man. So stinking good. Only bean here once but imagine every dish would be as good as the one I had. I got the Pastrami Sandwich as the staff said it was super popular. It did not disappoint. Because the other have of this place is an actual butcher shop, all the meat is fresh and super freakin tasty. Their house made chips are totally killer. My wife got the BLT, it has super fresh thick tomatoes, fresh lettuce, and a generous amount of their bacon. I had a bite and it was super good. I can’t recall if the Mayo was homemade or not but it was really good. Pastrami was better though in my opinion.

This place is awesome! The owners are super nice and know what they are doing. The female owner was super helpful and extremely knowledgeable about all the offerings and food. I had the Short-Rib Grilled Cheese (YUM)!! I like how the food is super good and kind of bougie but the atmosphere is not. Can go in and just have drinks without a server bothering you (you order at the bar and then they bring you out your food). Great choice and the second time I had been here! Will def be back again!

We were able to visit for lunch during Thanksgiving week and it was an amazing experience. We sat at the bar and enjoyed great conversation with their whole staff. Beyond the solid food menu (highly recommend the Hawaiian Pizza and the Rosino sandwich), they have a great grab and go freezer and fridge for their vast selection of house-made meats. Awesome addition to Indy that will surely get recognition beyond the city limits. Must visit!

I’ve only been here 3 times but I’m 100% sure this place is amazing!! my most recent experience, I called in an order of 9 sandwiches an hour before they closed on a friday night. i got there and they were pretty busy. they had to sub one of my sandwiches for something else bc they were out. i waited a while and finally when my order was done the awesome person waiting on me threw in a few extras for my wait!! Including a pigs ear for my dog which he devoured when we got home. The sandwiches we delicious, the whole family loved them. their fries are so good and reheat perfectly in the oven. you should eat here.

I've found my new favorite spot! I've been seeing this all over social media and finally decided to head down and try it out! Sure glad I did! They are located in where marrow used to be, it looks completely different! It's a butcher, but it's somewhere you can be comfortable and enjoy lunch and brunch. I went with brunch because it's my favorite meal, and I'm here to say you should consider the eggs Benedict, they were some of the best that I have had in a long time. Cooked to perfection! But what made it so tasty was the sage hollandaise sauce, it was on top of breaded tenderloins, and had radish and prosciutto Bloody Mary's are my fave cocktail and the bloody butcher is a must have, you can get it with hotel tango gin or vodka, and it has one of the best mixes I've had in a long time! You can also shop here, huge selection of meats to choose from! Happy to see this place so busy, can't wait to go back and eat some more!

George, Amanda and staff are kind, caring, knowledgeable and accommodating! My family frequents the Salumeria and each time we either eat or learn something new. A few weeks ago, they catered my son’s birthday party at our house and it was a blast! I basically had given George a loose description/theme of what I was going for and he over delivered! We had pork loin, chicken, Mac & cheese, fruit, coleslaw, and our guests raved over it all. The presentation was excellent as well, as I had told George I wanted a visual impact for the meat prep (see photos). I wish I had more photos because it just looked so great! Setup was a breeze and they took awesome care of my guests. I can’t wait to have them over again! We are hardcore fans of Turchetti’s! ????????

As far as I’m concerned any negative reviews seem to reflect a lack of understanding that things are changing in the service industry to protect workers’ time and health. If ya don’t like that then you might just be a jerk? Get the smash burger and tallow fries if you do not know what to order first!

I ordered 40 cuts of pork Tenderloin on December the 15th to be ready on December 23rd for a party I am having on the 24th. I was told no deposit was needed on a small order like this and it would be ready that morning. When I arrived on the 23rd. I was told the order was not ready and I would need to come back the following morning. These have to be stuffed and prepared tonight to be ready for tomorrow. The butcher refused to start making it while I waited and unwilling to help. So disappointed in the service. I will never return to this butcher shop and I'll be sure to tell everyone I know not to come to this business.

Turchettis (TUR-KET-EES) Salumeria opened last year, a great cozy lunch spot in the heart of fountain square. Then just this week they opened up Turchetti's Salumeria Butcher Shop & Marketplace! So now they have twice the space and twice the goods. The left side will serve as a sitdown cozy restaurant with his famous sammies - salads - burger - drafts - wine - and yummy sides like deviled eggs. The right side will house a market of sorts with fresh local produce, goods, butcher shop, and grab n go sammies, lunchables, snacks... etc. So I wondered twice the space? Are they ready for this? George and his lovely fiancee Amanda started this scrumptious restaurant just a year ago piggybacking off their market and catering clientele - with skill and a lot of heart they put they're all into it and... O yes back to my question are they ready for this - DANG STRAIGHT THEY ARE! When you walk in your greeted with a friendly smile and allowed to peruse their goods. I headed straight for the counter - and before looking at the menu just went with the special. TWAIN TIP: (if your not picky) get the special - it's always scrumptious - fresh - and never there for long. This goes with any restaurant - if you want a true feel for the chef and why they love food - go with the special - that's they're whole heart on a plate. As they readied my order, every order is made fresh here, I shopped a little more. Circle Kombucha- yes, Batch no 2 Mustard - don't mind if I do, fresh local strawberries - UMMM HECK YAS - ooo actually we are almost out of eggs - and good golly molly - the SAUSAGES! Another tip - bring a bag your hands will be full before you know it! The new staff is still training - so please be patient - but they were pretty quick with the masterpiece. Yes MASTERPIECE is an accurate description... the 'After School Special' hardy Amelia's semolina bread topped with layers of thinly sliced salty tender house bologna ( hot salami cotto seasoned with oregano, chile flake, red wine), gooey American cheese, smokey roasted tomatoes, creamy mayo - and guys... SALT N VINEGAR POTATO CHIPS - on a FRICKIN SAMMIE. Lord get me a bib and some stretchy pants! If sammies aren't your thing they have delicious chopped salads as well. They're also showing some of my favorite other locals some love like Tulip Tree Creamery, Batch No. 2, Circle Kombucha, Native Bread, Amelia's, Redbud Farm and Caprini Creamery and sooooo many more. I ordered a whole beef tenderloin for Christmas Eve dinner (about 4 pounds). It came trimmed and tied with Rosemary, as pictured. I added a garlic butter rub to it, and cooked it for a little over a half hour as recommended and it came out a perfect medium rare. My knife slid through it like butter, and it was even still perfectly tender two days later after reheating leftovers in the microwave (sacrilegious I know). Everyone at the table thought it was excellent. It was a very high quality piece of beef, and the price was comparable to other places (beef tenderloin is never cheap). I’m excited to try other products. Highly recommend!

mmm....so good. I got the breakfast biscuit sandwich and it was perfect. Soft, pillowy and buttery biscuit. Perfect sunnyside up egg, house made bacon, cheese and jalapeno jam for a perfect kick of sweet and spicy. My husband got the Italian sub sandwich and it was good, perfect blend of flavors. However the bread was a bit awkward and hard to bite into, being thick with a hard crust.

Hands down one of my favorite restaurants in Indy! I live outside of Indy but before the pandemic I’d go every weekend because I couldn’t get enough of their burgers and sandwiches. The owners and staff are always super friendly and bend over backwards to help with allergies! Highly recommend!

Where else can you find a storefront butchery where it happens AT the storefront? I'll wait.... This neighborhood gem covers all the bases from delicious breakfast and lunch fare to charcuterie and beverages. Sit in awe of the delicious meats curing through the window while enjoying the company of George, Amanda, and the rest of the Turchetti's crew. Don't forget to pick up goodies and snacks next door at the market too! I recommend smoked bones for your furry friends to chew on, too.

It's so nice to have a butcher with so many options available in the city. The online ordering option makes it very easy to get what you need and pick up at the curb. I ordered a variety of things. I made ramen with their pig trotters and pork belly. I can't wait to try other options from this place!

I've been to Turchetti's now on numerous occasions and every single time they've made some of the best food I've ever eaten. I've had the brunchy biscuit there(without lettuce) and it's a sandwich you dream about long after you've devoured it. The addition of mayo and house-made pepper jelly with pickled onions on a simple bacon and egg biscuit sandwich make it next level. I've tried many times to recreate it and I've came kind of close, but only with the help of products from their grocery. My wife can't escape the Chef Josh's desert island meal and she's given me several bites from it. Without a doubt, the best carnitas I've had in my life! The rice and black beans are cooked perfectly, but the pork is amazing with its crispy edges and tenderness. Next, I've got to talk about the smash burgers here. The smash burger with fries is $10. The quality and amount of both the burger and the fries makes this a steal! The beef is perfect. Whatever the cuts used and the ratio of lean to fat used in the beef, Turchetti's has figured it out. The fries served with the burger are deep fried in tallow(rendered beef fat) and they're stupid good. Turchetti's smash burger and fries is the ideal, it's what other restaurants hope to achieve and is nostalgic to your classic burger joint. Lastly, I've got to talk about the staff. Every time I have visited Turchetti's for anything, either hot food or groceries. The personalized service and conversations I've had here make Turchetti's standout. On days when I've came in for a couple of groceries I ended up chatting with the butcher about my job and life in general. These guys care about their customers a lot. I've genuinely felt that they appreciated every dime anyone has spent there. I'd recommend Turchetti's to anyone and I look forward to their restaurant reopening! Also, FYI across town at The Amp, Turchetti's sister restaurant Frankie's Pizza Parlor is slinging out NYC style pizza and it is amazing too!

As a self-proclaimed foodie, Turchetti's is my favorite place in the entire city to sit down, grab some food, drink a beer, and enjoy a conversation with my favorite bartender/server, Kate. Amanda and George did a fantastic job building this Fountain Square landmark. Becoming a regular has been fun, and I introduce new friends to Turchetti's whenever I can. (Pro Tip: Get the Smash Burger with a fried egg. You won't be disappointed.)

I have never been disappointed with the quality and service at this place. They are running things very safely and it is a great way to get grocery shopping done if you don't want to go to the store. The hot meals are also fantastic. I tried the biscuit sandwich today and it is one of the most delicious things I have ever had. It is a bit messy but so worth it. They are also one of the few local places that has an affordable burger/fry meal.

I’ve ordered a couple of times and will absolutely order again. It’s hard to find easy access to meat at this quality, so it’s worth the trip if you aren’t usually in Fountain Square. Fair warning, you can’t buy box store grocery meat anymore once you try it. The website is super easy to use and the team is beyond friendly. I forgot to pick up my tenderloin for Xmas and they even called to remind me, then made sure I knew my pickup options for the next day. Follow them on Instagram if you can, a lot of updates (Covid times, something is always changing) and new product updates. They also support other local business partners and I love seeing the commitment to community.
