The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They have the best meat (beef and pork, no chicken) in Carlisle! You should go there earlier in the day for the best cuts, but they usually have a great selection no matter when you show up. The only thing that is often out of stock is their boneless pork ribs. If you get the chance, buy as many as you can, because I guarantee you've never had anything even close to better. Just cook them with the barbecue sauce they sell at the shop (Bourbon is my favorite) and prepare to be blown away with juicy delicious flavor! If I had to choose one thing to eat for the rest of my life, it would be those ribs!

I live in Enola and I made the 35 minute trip, in hopes that I would finally find a place to buy good quality meats at a reasonable price. I found an incredible shop with very high quality meats and friendly staff. Also, the prices are incredible as well!! I broiled a T-bone when I got home and it was wonderful!!!

A few dedicated employees will work to get everything you need just the way you need it. However what drags down the rating is the owner and a single employee. You tell them what you need in the most simple and basic terms you can and they completely ignore everything you just told them. These two have zero respect for the customer or quality service. Their continued hatred of serving customers is a disgrace to the employees who do their job and work hard to help customers. Do yourself a favor, go to Walmart and receive far more consistent service.
