Was always told this place was great... Well after a full month of waiting for a deer to be cut up, they didn't do as we asked with the meat, and the price was completely different then what we were quoted the day we called to bring the deer in. Some of the meat already began to freezer burn and the rest wasn't wrapped as we asked. The price for this deer meat was outrageous. Never again will I be back.

I was both shocked and disappointed by the owner behaviors, he doesn't have any ethics and he will use the situation to over charge you. He didn't do as we asked with the meat, and the price was completely different then what we were quoted the day we called to bring the lamb in.The price for this lamb meat cutting was outrageous, too much packaging as well. This is not the way that honest butcher does business. You should avoid to have any business with the country butcher.

The Country Butcher is an awesome place if you are looking for high quality meats and other assorted goods. Driving up, you can see that the grounds are well manicured which speaks to the degree of care put into the food being sold. Everything is spotless. My favorites are his breakfast links and his swedish meatballs.

Great service, great cuts. Yes; expect to pay more than a grocery store, but you do get what you pay for. Be sure to grab bacon while you're there, it's amazing.

When my husband and I decided to get married in St. Lucia, we knew we wanted to have a party at home after for all those unable to make the trip. We chose the Country Butcher to cater the picnic and the food was outstanding. Not only that, they made the menu planning easy. When our number counts changed closer to the event from our original estimate, they were flexible and made the whole food aspect of the event stress free. Delicious food and wonderful customer service makes them a winning combination. Highly recommend!

I'll make the drive to Terry's Beef in Saint George before going back here. Everything is pre-packaged. Not good. Maybe it's a Covid thing, don't know. I've never, in 50+ years and too many butcher shops to count, including my grandfather's, seen a shop that pre-packaged like this. The environmental aspect from all that styrofoam & plastic wrap is difficult to wrap my head around. When I go to a new butcher shop, the first thing I'll try is the ground beef for burgers. What I got had no flavour. The next thing I'll try is a chicken. Wasn't expecting much based on my questions to one of the cutters and I wasn't pleasantly surprised, unfortunately. Seems they don't stock fresh, whole chickens, so I ordered one. Like the ground beef, it had no flavour. Tried a few different types of sausage, made in-house, and those were hit-and-miss.

The BEST Beef Brisket Ever! I ordered it for my family dinner, they had it ready right on time, very nice staff brought it right to my car. We did not even need a knife to cut it, it was so tender that you could cut it with a fork. Everyone LOVED it, so good! I will be ordering again!

My 78 yr old step father had a moose dropped off to this company and called after it was there and specifically said no one is to pick up the 640 lbs of meat but the person on the license and the girl on the phone assured him that it would happen and come to find out theygave someone else the moose meat and the butcher gave the rack and everything to someone else. How is this possible. And the best part is that sorry excuse for an owner and the even worst staff said it's not their problem???????? So that is morally pathetic

Very beautiful little shop, exquisite selection of items. I picked up some bones and pig ears for my dog as well as an absolutely delicious stuffed roast for dinner. Has leftovers for 3 days! Great quality, will definitely be back.

I used the Country Butcher for a caterer for my wife's 40th surprise birthday party. The food was incredible. There was a very well laid out crudité, as well as numerous hot appetizers. One of which was the amazing bourbon meatballs which I highly recommend. Then the passed appetizers started and continued for almost 2 full hours. My guests left full and happy. I can't thank the Country Butcher enough for an incredible evening especially on such a busy weekend! Thanks again!
