Came for the crabcakes but they were sold out. My husband got salmon and scallops instead and dinner was a huge hit for the whole family. My in-laws were happy and so were my kids.

This is a butcher shop done the way a butcher shop should be. Great meat and seafood. We ordered a pasture raised turkey for Thanksgiving and the process was seamless and the most flavorful turkey we've had. Skip the meat counter at the grocery store and give these folks a try. You won't regret it.

the store is really clean, the team is friendly. Meat is amazingly good. Solid recommendations on what you should buy. Here’s my full breakdown if you want to read The wife and I had some friends come over on July 20th for a cookout. I found out that Oliver’s was the closest butcher to the Reston area. Stopped by and picked up two pounds of local ribeye and two links of the “half smoke” sausage links. I’ll break this down into two parts. The ribeye: best ribeye I have cooked to date. I did a reverse sear ( oven first then grill) with Oliver store bought truffle seasoning. Oven cooked then grilled then after the a bit of rest the steak was unbelievable. Soft, flavorful, no conversation at dinner type of steak because it’s so good. The sausage was just as good. Big, tons of flavor, the kind of flavor that makes you laugh at grocery store sausages. Really not sure if I can go back to grocery store meats.

Really wonderful people here! Was very fortunate to happen upon this shop in a pinch, and left with very fresh and well marbled short ribs. The buttery and sweet aroma of the beef spoke for their quality and they did not disappoint. Red wine braised short ribs were a success!

I called in a request on short notice for four Dry Aged Ribeyes and a chuck roast to take with me on a trip. As it was my first time buying from them, I didn't know what to expect, but they came through with flying colors. Their store aged rib eyes were utterly fantastic. Great flavor and melt in your mouth softness. The chuck roast was equally delicious and an amazing piece of meat. I highly recommend both. BTW, their locally farmed corn was on point. Super fresh and tasty. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!
