I was there recently and witnessed how remarkable the manger was to an employee who was cashing out some items. He treated her just like he would any customer with the utmost professionalism and courtesy. I was like "wow" and wanted to applaud because that's very rare I see that. Kudos to Longos. Just a suggestion about the stairs right by the washrooms, maybe put a barrier that's move able there so just incase someone doesn't loose balance and accidentally fall down the stairs or have a mis step. Just a thought. Thank you Longos. You all could go around and train some businesses on the quality and card if customer service you offer. Truly impressive. Some stores are not that gad and have step up their quality somewhat, but if there was and award you all took it in my books.

Friendly and fast, has a Starbucks inside as well, and those employee's are always great too. Overall, and easy shopping trip. UPDATE: Shout out to the lovely gentleman who helped me carry my bags to my car, while holding an umbrella over my head in the rain. Best customer service I've ever had at a grocery store.

An easily navigable grocery store with great options for produce, diet restrictions and some international brands. Staff are friendly and helpful. Aisles are clean and well maintained. One star off for still using plastic shopping bags; sturdy brown paper bags can hold most items and anything heavier would tear a plastic bag anyway.

Pricier than other supermarkets, but we but our near here exclusively as there is a noticeable improvement in quality. Their points system is, at best, murky in terms of ease of understanding. Overall I'd recommend for certain parts of the grocery list but we get the majority of our list at a competing company.

Obviously my favourite place to grocery shop - they know me by name!! When you can't find something they take you to the correct place and actually take it off the shelf for you. They will also escort you from your car with an umbrella when it's pouring rain out. Highly recommend Longos stores!

A lot of upside visiting this grocery store, one major one being that have a fantastic bakery, where they bake their own breads, pies, and more. With respect to dessert cakes, they do in fact carry La Rocca cakes - including everyone's absolute favourite, chocolate chip banana cake. Their fruit trays are also a good size - make sure you try anything with kiwi, as it has never disappointed.

Why is this store not limiting the number of people entering the store? And why are they allowing more than 1 person per household in? Today I experienced families of 3 and 4 shopping together, close contact with cashiers, customers not wearing masks properly, no hand sanitizer available on the way out of the store and no sanitizing between customers. Restaurants and retail stores can’t open up but “essential” businesses are allowed to become lax with the rules? No wonder we are still in lockdown!

I stopped at Longos for a couple things because it was on my way. They have a decent meat selection, and pre-made food counter, but regular groceries are about 40%+ more expensive than other grocery stores (No Frills, Food Basics, etc) and I dont really see any kind of premium service or anything to justify the expense. Meat and produce is better at local markets (even M&M meats), so I couldn't even justify returning here for that.

Over the weekend I couldn't get inside because this location had a problem letting in maskless patrons. I had a mask on but what I didn't like was the division this store was causing. As a Canadian I was very disappointed at how this was handled and how longo's employees were seen laughing. Longo's participated in division which is not Canadian thing to do. Personally I didn't care if the maskless people were inside if they remained six feet and/or this store could of let a few maskless people in a time but too not let them in at all and cause such a big seen was ridiculous.

It doesn't feel like a grocery store. It feels like home. You guys have an exceptional staff from the managers all the way to the cashier staff. I call this my longos because every single person goes out of their way to help their customers. And you only feel like this because the staff at this awesome location makes you entirely feel that way. So truly I really love this place. And before I forget to mention, I have always been able to fine the products that I'm looking for, which is solemnly because you guys are always well stocked and I have never left disappointed in anyway. Thank you for all you guys do especially especially durring these hard times and honestly, if anything because of how all of you are, you truly make it look so easy and never look like as if you rather be somewhere else. First off since when are employee's allowed to play the lotto at where they work isn't that prohibited by olg ......and lastly explain why you guys can't count one time they give me an extra five and I returned it right away and another time they shorthanded money off a lotto win I won 50 bucks and the guy tried to only give me 25 either your employees are completely incompetent or some sort of stealing is going on either way you guys suck especially since I'm a fan of the pizza when its fresh I have no idea why your employees would be spraying chemicals near the pizza but it was horrible .....I didn't even return !

This was my last time to shop at LONGO'S during the pandemic. I was shocked to see an employer that is behind a fresh food counter wearing only a faceshield during extremely high covid numbers being released in the last month. A mask is the only PPE that will protect the shopper. A faceshield still allows droplets on the food. I cannot believe that that is allowed in a supermarket. Spoke to a manager with no satisfaction.

Visited Luongo’s Winston Churchill Blvd today with a VERY minor complaint, we had purchased chocolate covered Boston cream donuts and when we went to consume them, there was no cream in them! I mentioned it at the service desk, offering to produce “proof of purchase”. The very pleasant young lady said to just go and get another one! When we looked for the Boston Creme donuts we could not locate them. I approached a nice bakery lady, and she went to the back of the store and brought out another pleasant lady that located said product and wrote N/C on the product! I am so very amazed with the time and effort these very pleasant ladies spent ensuring that we were 100% satisfied with the outcome of such a minor and annoyance! I fully recommend LONGO’s for there professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile.

I've shopped here for over 10 years and it's always hit and miss. Most staff is very helpful, but the dairy manager does not know where anything is and is NEVER willing to help. Some cashiers refuse to disinfect the belt between customers. Some days there is an overwhelming odor of rotting meats. They have stopped carrying brands that I like and are substituting their own. They no longer carry Neal Brothers potato chips or ACE Bakery croissants - I tried the Longo's brands and they are terrible! I try to do all my shopping at one store, so I will drive the extra few miles to Fortino's from now on.

Such a bad experience tonight as I felt like I was being scolded by the bakery staff. The employee at the bakery section snapped, rolled their eyes and sounded upset. I dont know why I had to face such behaviour but it made me disheartened and upset. I do not know what was the reason that I faced such an occurrence.

This used to be the best Longos around, but since they renovated and changed up the store they seemed to have lost their meat managers and produce managers. Prices on pretty much everything went up (considerably) and quality went down. My step-father having been both a head butcher and a produce manager for many years makes me really appreciate and notice these sorts of things and were what originally brought me to this particular Longos, but they have really lost their way since the renovation. I've seen seriously mis-labelled (and priced and packaged) meat, "mystery" Apples that they called "Longos Special" Apples -- because I'm assuming that no one could identify them ; they were also trying to pass them off as something you snack on when they were actually baking Apples. Where they used to have tons of high quality fresh local produce that was delicious now it seems like they have the same old fruit and veggies out of someone's cold storage that everyone else is dishing us up. Where we used to see skids of super fresh local corn and Apples at appropriate times this year we did not even see any corn beyond the 5 cobs sealed in plastic variety (which mostly also tastes like plastic), not to mention skids of local Apples. Steaks are improperly cut -- too thin or too thick, not properly trimmed or over trimmed, not cleanly sliced (some look very jagged like someone was hacking at them with a serrated knife of some sort). The beef is no longer properly aged (and it used to be just amazing and always a good price). Now we get cuts that are mixed and matched within the same package. If you honestly can't tell the difference between beef strip loin and rib steaks or pork loin chops and rib chops why are you working in the back of a butcher department and just who hired you? Half inch thick strip loin (fast fry -- shudder) or two inch thick strip loin (there might be one like this if you're lucky) and nothing in between. The "premium" beef behind the counter is massively overpriced not to mention that it looks like they choose it for the shade of red as opposed to the marbling or other real criteria -- most of the premium cuts back there are not very premium at all but they are happy to overcharge for them because they are very "pretty". I suspect the old meat and produce managers went away when they shut down for a whole summer to renovate the store because once they re-opened after the renos it was never the same. Between price hikes across the board, their new and "improved" (read: super inefficient) store layout where one person chatting on a cell phone in mid isle can clog up half a store gives it a losing grade in my books. Pretty much the _only_ thing they have going for them now is location. Unless you like pre-packaged plastic food that is -- as this seems to be the crowd they are after now.

There is a variety of meats including Ontario farm meats. Bakery and cakes...delicious. I like using their points card too. Worthwhile.

I'm actually coming back to downgrade the review which I don't do often. I was shocked that after spending 40 dollars on just few items I was refused to give a spare cardboard container so I could split my food with a co worker. Really 10 cents container??? Also cashier which looked super miserable (younger black girl), was not very nice and packed my items in the bags and charged me for it. I don't care about 20 cents but I did not want it.

I love this store and location, I am a regular and family is as well been going for years! Thing is I have Asthma and having a hard time breathing was dizzy in line. I placed my mask down on my chin and was rudely approached by manager, I let her know my situation, I advised her that I did not under law have to have my mask on being I have a repository illness. She said Longo’s is above the law. That’s great because I’m not going to be coming back here as well as faimly. It’s not what only what you say it’s how you say it, even the teller thought the same as I did, rude! I’m going to drive to a fresher store that has some decent people in management position as well. This store is well maintained & conveniently located on my way home from the gym. Insanely over-priced though so I only ever stop for an emergency bag of milk, etc. Also, the aisles seem super narrow for some reason. If you enjoy paying more for the same items you can buy cheaper practically everywhere else (except Metro), then Longo's is for you!

I like Longos but don't go as frequently because of their locations. They are also on the pricier side which is not necessarily my segment. However you can find good deals at Longos too. The atmosphere is great here and they have well trained staff. It's a very enjoyable place to do the groceries.

I went in for a quick lunch and hit the buffet thinking ill get quality for a honest price. Got a mix of items, everything tasted old and bland, nothing was fresh. I spent $20 on crab salad, pasta, and chicken parmigiane; all tasted at least a day old. Chicken was dry and rock hard. Salad had a funky smell and pasta was disgusting.

Always great service from the front line workers who are kind, and enthusiastic, I feel bad because I see other mistreating them; I like how this is one of the few stores that disinfects the cashier band before each customer drops their items. They also have fresh baked bread and cakes and flowers in house ...which is great for all in one shopping.

Place was immaculate. Fruits and veggies looked amazing and fresh. Whereas other places they have young kids chatting and chucking them around to pile them up. Leaving nothing but bruised veggies and fruit. The pizza bar was amazing. Will be back for sure.

Very clean store and well-stocked with many things that people look for. I have never gone to this store and have had a negative experience. One of my favourite grocery stores to visit in Mississauga...staff are extremely helpful and friendly! If you ask them where an item is located, they will walk with you to show where it is placed (an amazing quality this store has)! All the produce, baked goods, and meats are extremely fresh!

I love the hot prepared foods at this location. On several occasions I mentioned how nice it would be to have a certain item in the hot bar, and the woman who runs it (I believe her name is Paula) was right on top of it and two days later ...... voila! I had to drive all the way here because the one close to home had an outbreak of COVID positive employees yet they were open they had not notified their customers. I shop here for eggs only no one else carries the Conestoga eggs.

I have a medical exemption, they wouldn’t let me in the store, told me they didn’t care about my exemption, they’re very rude, and the prices are very expensive. I would shop here regardless, if they were kind humanitarians who understood and followed the bylaws posted on their doors. But instead they turn people away who can’t wear masks. They did offer to do My shopping for me, but I’m perfectly capable of doing it on my own. The manager just wanted to power trip and refuse me entry. Today I managed to slip through the front doors, but security followed me through the entire store like a criminal, saying I wanted to pay 20$ for maple syrup, when all I wanted to do was actually buy syrup for my pancakes, the security guard then commented on how I was shaking, which I replied was due to low blood sugar. The customers were rude to me as well. This is extremely unacceptable. To be followed around like a criminal because I can’t wear a mask!

Wait time was ridiculous. Only 2 tills open despite massive lines, causing congestion and making social distancing impossible. Disappointed that on-site Starbucks does not adhere to rewards program. They do have a nice selection of pre-made meals though

Got overcharged for a basket of fresh cucumbers, $6.99 instead of $3.99 as advertised. I noticed and that was corrected on the spot, apparently there was a barcode on the basket used for peaches...You have to be vigilant and pay attention at the register, happening quite often...

Daughter requested for a unicorn theme bday, made some inquiries and found unicorn cakes could go from 60-200 dollars. We’re working on a budget since it’s just a virtual party with only 3 people to eat the cake. ???? We’re happy to have ordered a cake for the (virtual) party from Longos bakery (Winston Churchill). Good thing Longos bakery made it happen for us to get the cake that we wanted without breaking the bank. Baker Jean helped me throughout the process - she’s friendly, accommodating, made good suggestions to fit our budget without sacrificing quality - she’s simply awesome! We booked early as they are really busy. Baker Jean made a lovely cake that’s aligned with our unicorn theme (I just purchased a separate cake topper????) and my daughter was so thrilled! We received lots of compliments about the cake! It tastes yummy, too (We chose vanilla & chocolate layers with Oreo filling ????) Thank you Longos for making our daughter’s birthday extra special!

This store is close to my house so easy access. I love visiting and shopping at Longo"s. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The produce is lovely and fresh and has a lot of Ontario produce. The shelves are always neatly presented and full. There is a variety of meats including Ontario farm meats. Bakery and cakes...delicious. I like using their points card too.

This store is doing a great job managing regulations for physical distancing. Masks required (and supplied for a donation if needed), clear floor markings, sanitizer available, and employees are also protected with masks. I was able to get in and out doing a normal shop I regular time with minimal worry. Did see some staff wearing masks incorrectly... and I get it. A hot day to wear a mask for long hours, but please try for everyone's sake!
