People say the prices are high, but they are comparable with whole foods meat department, which is where I got my meat before, and these guys have way better selection in my opinion. They are operating with safety in mind, allowing limited numbers inside at once, everyone was wearing a mask, and the burgers were amazing. Will definitely continue getting my meat here.

Love their sausages! Don't get there too often, as it's 30 miles from home. Fresh meats look amazing - they're a great little shop!! (Note the proper use of three homonyms!)

If you want fresh lamb, call on Thursday to reserve. Frozen lamb available other days. Small, clean and efficient butcher shop selling excellent cuts of meat, artisan sausage and deli items (cheese.) Ample parking in the back of the shop.

Love the Livermore Butcher Shop! I go there at least once a week. Their selection is incredible. The freshness of the products is phenomenal. My family will only eat hamburgers from the freshly ground meat from the Livermore Butcher Shop. I could write about more of my favorite meats, but I don't want them to sell out. Lol! Great addition to the Livermore family of businesses.

What can I say? This place is amazing! The quality in meats, the cuts, the service, everything is great! Had the pork chops tonight and boy was I pleased! These cuts are big and fresh!! Their seasonings they sell are also very flavorful. I was told by a couple of my friends how they love their tri tips, which I’ll be having tomorrow, so I had to give them a try and I was not disappointed! I am glad they are here in town, a family operated shop that will have my business from now on! I highly recommend them!

My husband and I visited the Livermore butcher shop for the first time today. I really liked the variety of sauces and rubs, and meat selection. We ordered sandwiches which were HUGE, really fresh, and delicious. The bacon jam was amazing, I wonder if they sell it, because I would definitely purchase. We will definitely be back! I'm really happy this place opened here in town.

Great service and expert advice readily available - if you have any special requests for particular cuts of meat just let them know and they're on the phone to their suppliers right away. Would highly recommend! Also a good selection of cheeses available. Could only be improved by the addition of bike parking outside, but it looks like that's being installed ????

This place is great - everyone here is fun to talk to, helpful and polite. The meat is top notch quality - you can tell when even the fat melts in your mouth after a good sear! They make in house and customs sausages and a variety of salads and side dishes! They also take orders - I’ve got some tomahawks, plate ribs and a picanha with my name on it for Memorial Day weekend! Overall excellent butcher shop.

I was so excited when I learned Livermore was finally getting a proper butcher. I love this place and go as often as possible. I got my birthday tomahawk steak and our Thanksgiving turkey here. They have the best NY steaks I have ever found and they've even turned me on to t-bones. Livermore Butcher Shop has become my happy place in an otherwise challenging 2020.

Awesome locally owned butcher shop located in Downtown Livermore. They have a great selection of meat, and they also make sandwiches to-go. They are a bit pricey, but the price is worth it when you see the quality of the meat. It's nice to have a butcher shop in town again.

Today was my second visit and it will not be my last. I have been focusing on the Sausages right now. It is official they have broken me. I will never purchase a sausage from a regular store again. What I want to know is if we will see more exotic or hard to find meats like Bison, Wild Boar, Venison and Elk. Please please please.

I am so bummed out as this was my first visit here on a Wednesday , they are closed on Monday and Tuesday by the way . My Sandwich order was poor which was 100% due to the dry/ stale bread . I suspect that they hold over bread from the weekend and use it on Wed/Thursday's as the bread bin was empty as well. A suggestion to management and staff , taste and verify the freshness of the bread on Wednesday's prior to making sandwich 's since at $12 .00 a pop , mine was not edible and ended up in garbage.

Had the best sandwich here, may look expensive but the quality is extremely high. Friendly people and for the size of shop the premium cuts of meat people don't realize the cost of carrying prime beef is much higher than anybody else. Quality all the way, we'll be back when in town.

Got off the airplane at SFO and the first place my sister wanted me to eat was at the Livermore Butcher. What an amazing experience. I just wish I had enough time to be able to take my husband there. The low carb roast beef was on point. I had mine in a lettuce wrap with avocado and mayo. Hands down, best sandwich I have ever had. Hats off to you Anthony and staff. When we come back this way, you will DEFINITELY be on our list of stops.

Waited in line 20 minutes Sunday morning. The wait was well worth it! Staff was friendly, attentive and willing to address special requests despite the crowd. Just had the bone-in pork chops and they were fabulous, every bite! Can’t wait to try the Porterhouses and chicken breasts that we bought.

Finally a real butcher shop in Livermore. Much better than getting your cuts of meat from the supermarket or Costco where you really don't know the people. They cab even do custom stuff for you within reason.

Great Service! All staff were wearing masks and gloves and there were 6ft social distancing markers on the ground. There was a wide selection of meats for us to choose from which was great. My family is so excited to have a butcher shop in Livermore! I highly recommend coming here!

I don’t have photos, but I went there this morning to get a gift certificate for my son. Picked up some bacon, a chicken pot pie, and a top sirloin steak. Well, I am not much of a beef cook, so I realized I should have asked! Called back this afternoon and was passed to the ‘expert’ on the phone. That was so helpful!! I am not a secure cook, so it was great having backup!! I’m sure my steak will come out great!!

I bought lamb casings to make a traditional South African dried sausage(droëwors) was nice to be able to buy only the amount I needed, that was very convenient and cheap per length of casing.

OMG. We SO enjoyed the variety of sausages we had this weekend from Livermore Butcher Shop. We started Friday night with Queso Fuego as an appetizer ahead of our bone in rib eye meal. We were all exclaiming how good the sausage was. But then the rib eye.. we were all moaning in ecstacy with then rich fatty meat that was smoked over white oak(the best for barbecuing). Saturday we ate a variety of sausages over the afternoon. Our FAVORITE was Rockin Moroccan. We will shop there again and again. Thank you for being here.

Bought some crazy good Tomahawk Steaks for Father’s Day! Awesome people who really took their time with us! If you have a specialty cut, calling in advance is awesome and they are super responsive about what you need. Don’t be scared off by the prices. They are super reasonable considering the freshness and quality. Summer is here! Get grilling and BBQing!

It was disappointing for our first visit after reading all the good reviews. We went yesterday and got 3 sandwiches. The dutch crunch bread didn't taste super fresh and tasted like regular white bread. The sandwiches were sub par. Hopefully this is just a one off but it doesn't really motivated us to go back. The staff was very friendly and helpful though which was nice!

This place is really cool and the people are really nice. The owner, Andrew, is a really nice guy. He knows what I'm talking about when I want some thinly sliced meat for shabu shabu or hot pot. These freshly cut meat are way better than buying frozen thinly sliced beef from 99.

Great Local Butcher. My husband and I visited the Livermore Butcher Shop over the weekend, if you haven't stopped by, we encourage you to do so. The minute we walked in we were greeted with a warm welcome. They have a wide variety of meats, ribs and chicken, lots of rubs and marinades to choose from and you can also get a fantastic sandwich, ask for the bacon jam, it's yummy. The twice baked potatoes were delicious, great for sharing, they are huge. Andrew took the time to explain the variety of sausages and meats, he was super chill. It's a bit on the pricey side but hey, if you want high quality meat, it's well worth it.
