Great place for fresh meat. Staff is always attentive, friendly & efficient. Great sales & selection. Fresh cold cuts including their own Halenda's brand which is preservative free. They also have a salad section with various pasta salads & a handful of other ready to eat items such as BBQ meatballs, chicken tenders etc.

Love the fresh meat here. They have great selection and I love their variety of sausages. The cabbage rolls and perogies are really good too. But my favourite has got to be there Pepperoni sticks. So good!!

Hats off to the people at Halenda's Meats Oshawa Taunton Rd. Very well organized on how the customers were guided through the store (covid-19 protocols in place) very friendly staff willing to help. There was a 10 minute wait to get in but we'll worth it. Picked up a beautiful fresh ham for Christmas dinner and a few other things as well. Merry Christmas guys ????????????????

My “go to” butcher in the area... go there quite often for all my meats. I’m a big fan of smoking briskets and pork shoulder etc. And they have a great selection of this. A real meat lovers butcher.

The staff is friendly and helpful, most don't rush you when you're choosing the meats you want. The owners are fantastic, they're always happy to help you to set up a custom order. Plus for the most part, you can't beat the prices or the quality. I recommend shopping here for most all of your meat and deli needs.

If you havent tried buying meat from a butcher shop, you dont know what you're missing out. Traditionally I'd buy from the big box stores because it's convenient. But after trying their products, I was absolutely impressed. The quality of meats that they sell is far better than the big store. By the way, their chicken breasts are huge!

My experience was very disappointing, a female staff member was extremely rude an hostile! She spoke over me lacked attentive listening skills, an just all around had zero concept of costumer service. I chose to not even purchase from this location because of her attitude. I definitely won’t ever be going to this location. I’ll take the drive to the south end location where they are much more friendly and professional.

I bought the petite tenders steak today at $12.99 lb. It was just a fancy name for a sirloin tip roast cut into strips, and it was tough. You're charging 'AAA' prices, for 'AA' meat at best. I won't be buying meat here ever again.

Opens early which is great from a traffic point of view. They always have specials on, and can readily make a recommendation. Just found out today they do some special bacon in house. Can’t wait to try it!! They are very accommodating with special orders. My favourite place for meat that is sourced local.

Used to buy fresh meat from Halenda's a few years back when I lived in Oshawa. Prices were always great, quality and taste was 15/10. I am now in the Ottawa area. Please expand your establishment to the Ottawa area! It needs a good butcher shop like yours :)
