The staff were so helpful, I went to get the meat for my husbands Birthday BBQ and honestly didn't have a clue what I needed. All the products were explained to me and when I queried the ingredients in the marinades, they were very knowledgeable. As for the meat itself, the best burgers and marinated chicken I've ever tasted. The price was also amazing. I'll be back!

I was in your store several days ago and purchased Wagyu hot dogs and ground beef for a family get together. I wanted to let you know that I am still getting compliments on how delicious the food was. I had no idea that hot dogs could be that good!! The burgers were so juicy and tasty, people were asking for doggie bags. "Ben the Butcher", as he referred to himself, was very helpful in getting me exactly what I needed. I will be back to try some of the marinated chicken. The other young man working was also very friendly. I highly recommend others try this butcher shop and shop locally to support small business.

If you're looking for exceptional steaks, this is the place to go. USDA Prime beef, authentic Wagyu beef and a selection of dry aged steaks aren't the only things you'll find here. They also offer several marinated meats such as chicken breast, thighs and wings as well as marinated steak. I have tried much of what they offer and have been happy with everything I've had! I was raised by a butcher and can tell you, you won't find a better quality of meat than this! Definitely worth a visit!

Bumped into Butcher’s Mark as we were driving through the lot. Stopped in to check it out and were met by two very pleasant gentlemen. Oddly, we had just eaten the night before at Charlie’s Steak House and my nephew was curious about the Wagyu beef. Low and behold, Butcher’s Mark had the Snake River Farms Wagyu Strip. Talked us up about the meat and quality. A few tips later were provide on how to cook and when we got home, we fired up the wood grill and had one of the best cuts of meat I’ve ever made. We were also told that a new location will be open in St. Petersburg on 4th Street N. very soon. Can’t wait as that is right around the corner from us. Looking forward to getting some fine quality, delicious meats just down the street! Keep up the GREAT work!

If there was ever a place for quality high end meats without all the other distractions of the grocery store, this is THE PLACE. Stopped in while I was down in the Sarasota are for business the other day and picked up a few freshly cut ribeyes to put on the grill. Not knowing all of the other items they had, I will tell you that I left with more than just the steaks. Highly recommend if have not been here, do definitely stop in and check them out. The service and knowledge of the staff, second to none. Will be going back again soon.

I do not recommend this place. We got the garlic steak and it was terrible. The quality of the meat was so bad it was like chewing on jello Gumby. We got multiple pieces so it’s not like it was just a bad piece. We also tried the greek chicken sausage and it was just blah.

I've been a customer of this place for months now. Everything I got from here was excellent. My experiences before today were great but that all changed today. I walked in at 6:29 pm. The door clearly says opened daily until 7pm. I tried to order 3 bone in rib eyes which would've ran me at the very least 120$. The person told me that I can't order that because he just cleaned the saw. I own a business and everything we do is based on survey . If an employee of mine turned down a repeat customer because he "just cleaned a saw" I'd fire them on the spot. Clearly there's no customer appreciation. I'll never ship here again. What makes me more pissed is I just spent 190$ there not even a week ago. I'll never go to this place agai . I much rather give someone the business that actually appreciates me and there account of money I'm spending. Don't waste your time replying to this, spend it retraining your employees.

Small selection, but fantastic meats and marinades. Went for the dry aged rib eye and was very pleased. Staff have always been friendly and knowledgeable. They donate scraps to the big cat habitat. What's not to like?

I come here to buy meats when I am in town visiting my family. I am very satisfied with the meats,my favorite is the Korean bbq. Very tender and great taste. Also, the staff are so friendly and I just get a good vibe from everyone. There should be more butcher markets in the USA like this one.

My husband and I recently moved in the area and we are glad to find this place. Our first barbecue was successful with their delicious 3 meats burger and the wagyu hot dogs. The gentlemen's working there are very courteous and informative on their products. We will be back!

Really love this upscale butcher shop. Their fresh meat selections are beautifully displayed in a clean case. I've tried their chicken and want to try their wagyu. We've made the garlic marinated steak tips and I envisioned steak tips that were small like I remember my mom making as a kid, but these were really generous in portion and incredibly flavorful. I was impressed. We've also tried the pub wings. So far, everything we've tried has exceeded expectations. Can't wait to go back!

Tried this place for the first time last week, and I imagine I’ll be a regular from here on. The Wagyu steak and aged hamburger are just insane. Incredible product, with a butcher on-hand who really knew his stuff. Plus, the interior, cases and equipment appeared to be practically sterile - just surgically clean. Highest marks for this business.

I’ve shopped here any number of time. The beef and pork chops are fantastic. The service is also good and the guys are helpful. Probably the best pork chop you’re going to find in SRQ. Prices are steep but given the lack of alternatives/competition, it’s worth it. My only issue is, most of the “inventory “ is already marinating in some type of marinade. The selection of different cuts of beef and pork are minimal. I’d really like to see them carry unfrozen pork tenderloin, pork shoulder, St Louis ribs etc. as well as different cuts of beef. There is no argument that the Berkshire pork is incredible and the Snake River beef is excellent but would like to see additional inventory not just ribeye and nystrip.

Great Butcher shop with quality meats. Not a smelly discount meat market. Very clean and well organized. They can order you any cut or type of meat you need. They have Japanese A5 Waygu ribeyes in the case when I was there. Great selection of quality meats in stock.

By far the BEST meat around! Not only the best meat, but the marinades are to die for. Prices are shockingly low compared to what you would spend at any supermarket. I truly cannot say enough about what you are missing if you haven't tried them. I've had everything from chicken, brats, sausage, to beef. Can't wait for dinner tonight! My son bought me a bone in ribeye for working on his truck. It was one of the worst cut I’ve tried to eat. I cooked it medium rare. It was so full of fat and Geisel I couldn’t eat it. I was very disappointed but my Boxer wasn’t. I took pictures of the label and of the mess on my plate. I wish I could of shared. I get better ribeyes at Aldi. I have 2 stars because it was packaged nicely and looked great.

Buyers beware! Don’t shop here...the meat is bad quality! I bought lamb chops and grilled them. They went into the the garage. They were rude also!

We bought two different steak tips (garlic and teriyaki), wings and the spinach feta sausages. We grilled the garlic marinated steak tips, and even though they were medium rare, they were like rubber. Bad consistency. We air fried the chicken wings, which were supposed to be a little bit spicy. They were so spicy that my wife couldn't eat them, and I ate them and regretted it. We used the teriyaki steak tips in a stir fry, and they were tender and delicious. We just ate the grilled Greek sausages, and they were disappointing. Overall, this was an expensive experiment that will not be repeated.

Awesome, clean facility. Very presentable and tidy. The meat quality is beyond compare. I love the numerous marinaded meat options. Would have given 5 stars, but the customer service needs some improvement. Otherwise, it was an all-round great experience and I will definitely be going back soon!!

Picked up some of the Cheshire pork chops today. I have been wanting to buy Cheshire pork for a while. They were phenomenal. The pork has a great flavor and texture. I reverse seared them with just a dry rub. My family enjoyed them and they keep telling me how good dinner was. I was thinking of buying this breed online but now..... I don't have to.

We are new to the area, snowbirds. We were seeking a butcher shop much like the one we shop at back home. We took a look at Butcher's Mark after we had lunch next door. We came back two days later to pick up two filets for our last dinner before heading back home. We cannot tell how tasty they were. As good or better as any filets we have had at a high end restaurant. We will be back next season as this will be our go to place for all meats. Also, the team working the counter are great. We will back, again and again.

We are really lucky to have such a great butcher shop in this area. I’ve been in several times and have found the staff to be knowledgable, super nice and quick to answer questions. I usually get one of the marinated meats (which are very good) or burgers, but this week I got the Kobe, which they are the only ones I know in town with real Kobe. It’s a great local business that is far better than your regular grocery stores.

I don't usually write reviews but wanted to share my experience at Butcher's Mark. My husband and I are new to the area and had asked around about a good butcher shop. Coming from Pennsylvania, we are used to excellent butcher shops. General consensus from my neighbors was Butcher's Mark. Yesterday morning, we went in to check things out. First off, the store is spotless and the display cases were perfectly set up to show off the cuts of meat. There is a large section of delicious looking chicken wings and tenders in different types of marinades, just about every top of the line cut of meat you could think of, and they even have fresh made sausages. Being my indecisive self, I didn't know what I should buy so my husband asked for some recommendations. Andy was helping us at the counter and then a young man named Ben, Ben the butcher, came from the back where he was cutting meats and must have seen that we were trying to decide, and he offered us some suggestions that were his personal favorites. We ended up with some sausage, a few pounds of the chicken wings, and 2 perfectly cut ribeyes. So far, we have made the steaks and sausages, both were fantastic and tonight the wings will go on the grill. Not only is the food delicious, Ben and Andy were extremely patient and helpful. We will definitely be back and will spread the word to others looking for the same quality experience we had. Keep up the good work!
