Awesome place to buy locally grown, pasture-raised chicken, beef, pork, lamb, and eggs! Their handmade sausages are just the right mix of flavors. Friendly service. Good COVID precautions. This has become my go-to place for meats on my weekly grocery run.

I’ve been looking forward to this opening up since I first saw the sign. Excellent pricing on the best quality meat (better than Whole Foods pricing), with a wide variety of both meats and other specialty goods, including wine! I’m excited to do more shopping here and love the convenient location, as well as their priorities. They are closed Sundays, which to me is a plus. You can tell this company is great! The young man working today (5/4, about 3pm) was very helpful and super kind. Definitely would recommend checking this place out! Very clean and all employees seem helpful. They also fit a lot into a small area for sure. They also have other full service markets in the area that I’m going to have to check out!

They have the meats.... and beer soooo take that Arby's. Lots of other "off the farm" sort of goodies. I came for some good ground beef and left with 2lbs of some primo beef and tasty looking cider. Great customer service to boot.

This place is great. They have prime cuts and great quality. If it is not in the case they will make every effort to hand cut what you need. I have never had a bad experience and the staff is always happy. They have added a glass aging display. Prices are very good and well worth every penny.

Absolutely lovely. Staffed with people who know what they're doing and know how to talk about it. Organic meat prices are lower than New Seasons', and they source locally as much as they can. I went in to get some hog casings fully expecting to have to get far more than I needed, but the awesome person behind the counter sold me the small amount I needed without batting an eye! All with a smile and a good conversation about sausages and smoking meats. A quick look behind the counter revealed solid attention to efficiency and cleanliness. All in all, I highly recommend this updated version of an old-school neighborhood butcher, who cares about making the support of local business a rewarding and satisfying experience. Prices in the photos are probably subject to change due to larger market forces.

Quality meets and milk not cheap but you're paying for the high end quality. Great choice for the special occasion and easier to access than some big corporate grocers. I tend to buy the milk for my daughter here.

Great product and people. Update 12/23/21 use to be great people. Now when I go in I feel like I’m a hassle to them. Tried to call in an order and they don’t take call in orders anymore. The experience has not been good last few times. I went in to give one more chance but same thing. One person asks me what I want and then proceeded to help another customer. Then another person asks me what I want and I told them I already gave my order. Then asks again what I want and interaction is very distasteful. Done with this place unfortunately

Price on meat is extremely reasonable for it being local organic and mostly grass fed selection. Bought a chuck roast for basically the same price as Walmart. Have other items as well like wine and sauces. Would be nice if had produce as well, but it’s a small space. Will come back again.

We just tried BASICS in Beaverton. The took over the old Bugerville location. They’re AMAZING! The shop is unassuming but when you walk in there’s a wonderful selection! HIGH QUALITY beef, poultry, game & more! They have have eggs, wine, sauces & they make their own cheese. Prices were very reasonable & staff is helpful. Enjoy neighbors!! ????

I love all the Basics Markets, but this one in Beaverton is especially nice when I just need great local organic meat. It's a quick stop with knowledgeable staff full of information and recipes! They also have many cuts not sold in chain grocery meat departments.

My husband and I greatly appreciate high quality meat at a reasonable price and a quick stop to get it while we roll through town. Because of the mask issues, we tried to call ahead to make arrangements to make a purchase but they didn't answer the phone and they do not have an online ordering system. So when we arrived, I read the signage on the door suggesting masks (no mandate) and proceeded to enter. I got through the ordering process and all the way to the register before being informed that I needed a mask to be in the store because they're just "trying to do their part". I get that people are scared and listening to the edicts from government officials who don't know everyone's medical ability to comply. I cannot. Though they were nice, if they are going to demand everyone regardless of medical conditions wear a mask or order for curbside, ANSWER YOUR PHONE. We won't be back.

Great selection every time! I go there for duck breast, and always walk out with several other things, including organic eggs ($3.49!!), sauces, wine or beer! They often have aged Ribeye ready to go, too!

We bought our turkey from here. We reserved a 15-17 pound turkey and all they had for us was a 21 pounder. The turkey was good, but not worth $5.99 a pound. You can get the same tasting turkey for much less at New Seasons.

Just had one of the best steaks from here that I've had. Only a few dollars more than the local grocery stores. Their ribeye's are amazing! Looked better than other stores and super tender and full of flavor.

What an absolutely incredible meat market! They are extremely clean, well organized and offering a complete selection of all hand-cut meats and poultry. Elizabeth was knowledgeable about not only the cuts I wanted but also the sourcing of their local quality products. Having a true butcher package my selections the way I wanted was like it used to be. I was raised at a time when this type of market was the standard. It’s was pleasure to see this particular market and its outstanding staff today.

Not strictly pastured or organic although they have many of those options. However they're very conscious of their sources & quality and know where every piece of meat comes from.
