Beware, the meat quantity is consistently and substantially less than what you'd buy, double check the qty and stand there while they prepare your order. I have experienced significantly low weight than what I had paid for when checked at home. There could be tampered weighing scales and excess cuts on fat parts. Do check the expiry dates on other items too, it's quite normal to see expired products still on the shelf. Fresh fruits from sub-continent aren't always fresh.

Definitely one of the better halal meat and grocery shops on the west side of Mississauga. They carry a wide selection Pakistani products and halal meat is usually pretty fresh. Prices are also in line with other similar shops in the area. Aisles are narrow and when the place gets busy on weekends it’s almost impossible to pass through. Meat section is usually very busy on weekends so come here with a lot of patience. Although most items have barcodes and prices, it’s not the case for everything. I purchased a few BBQ skewer sticks (metal seekhs) at a certain price point. They worked out well so when I was back at the store a few days later I thought I’d pick up some additional ones. In less than a week, the price had somehow doubled for the exact product. I didn’t want to argue with the lady at the cash because I knew it wouldn’t go anywhere so I didn’t get any more.

Worst customer service experience ever! Bought ground chicken which was packed in two separate bags - one of them had a very pungent and sour smell to it when I opened it. Took it back the next morning and the store staff initially tried to convince me that this stench was normal (funny how one bag didn’t smell rotten and the other did). Once they realized that I wasn’t going to buy that - they turned me away telling me that my freezer was probably not working properly trying to attribute the spoilage to the way I handled the meat. I even tried to talk to the owner who (to no surprise) had the same way of dealing with customers and tried to convince me that it was my fault and there is no way that the fault could be at their end. Surely won’t be going back to this place - trying to shop locally from such places seems to have its drawbacks when you have such customer management.

They are doing a great job while managing the store with social distancing in current pandemic situation. The owner or manager of the store is always there to support his employees. But some customers, (not all ofcourse) are just too selfish. They are not wearing masks and continuously talking on phone while shopping. Obviously when they talk they are emitting droplets over the produce. I don't understand when people know the situation than why would they do that. We have to keep safe the store employees because they are in most difficult situation and exposing themselves to so many everyday. Don't be so selfish and act as if everything is normal. Wear a mask and don't talk on phone unnecessary. If you have to talk on phone than stand on a side, don't talk over the produce.

In 5 years shoping, plus point to shop there was friendly staff and they always listen instructions for meet order prepartions, so many time ignore high prices compared to competitors. I also bought vegetable samosas from them which were stale!, I never shop here thought I would give them a chance but surely there are better options around my area!

My concerns here are the unethical practices by the cashier staff as I have caught them multiple times double dipping and pricing the items wrong. Apna Farm is my one go-to for meats and South Asian grocery. Fresh, quality, halal meat at an affordable price. The store and butcher counter are always clean and organized. The aisles are a little tight. The meat is always fresh, cut, and bagged to my liking. Their pre-marinated meats are so flavourful and great for kebabs and burgers; chicken wings and ribs are simply delish; shawarma meat is a little salty. Be sure to grab a samosa on the way out; they’re so tasty and fresh! Be prepared to wait. They’re always busy – a testament to their products!

*BE CAREFUL * I have been shopping at Apna Farm since I moved to this neighborhood some 3.5 years ago. Meat shop is really good. Other than higher prices, malpractice by the employees is my concern. This is 3rd experience that I have caught them double dipping for the same product and ripping off on regular grocery items, and I have just went back in to make corrections. For sure, it was not a mistake as while the counter lady scanned for one of the items she asked another store lady in Arabic and she signalled her in agreement , which triggered my curiosity to verify the receipt and sadly I found double charged for items which I haven’t bought. So they corrected and returned by cash for the extra charge. But certainly and clearly they did it intentionally which is my concern. If people trust you and make u a success then exploitation of trust is the lowest level of integrity

If I could give less than 1 star I would. First off, rude cashier, small lanes, people just keep bumping into you, they have too many products and not enough shelves to organize accordingly. The worse experience for me was that they ended up scanning an item on my list that I didn't even purchase (I went in to pick up veggie and chicken Somosas) the cashier somehow charged me a pack of naan that I didn't even purchase. I only realized when I got home. Had to waste my time to go back it was a change of $8.99 and then she was arguing with me when I returned with my receipt and grocery bag. It was my first time in their store and I will definitely never go back. They are rude and try to rip you off thinking you won't notice the items on your receipt. There are better options in Mississauga. Don't waste your time or money here!

Owners are very cheap when it comes to quality. For example they wont let you switch out bad mangoes for good ones and a case of 6 retails for $30+.

Aggressive staff, with presumably owners family members who get into really unprofessional customer service with Customers who give them their piece of mind on pricing, quality of products. It has not happened to me yet but the lady on the cash has more then many times in my presence started ridiculous arguments with customers which I should say was insulting to the customers . You are in the retail business and your door is open to the world outside who will speak their minds and criticize your prices and try to get you to give them discounts But I will not return to this store as I do not appreciate such behavior with customers who actually make your business run and I too fear one day I might be next in line because sooner or later as a customer we all tend to say our mind.

My friend visited the store and bought an item which then he found charged 4$ more than marketprice. He returned the item as the staff told him if you don't like the price return it and we are small store not like big box. This means if you buy 10 items with 4$ over price then the market you are paying 40$ extra because as they said they are a small store, deserve overpricing. In short item was returned back with attitude and in an unpleasant manner. Wasted time and lost trust and confidence on prices and service, which is why they never display price on most of the items.

The Brampton location is kept clean with fresh products. One of the reasons I keep coming back is for fresh meat, however, one of the person working in the butchery lacks customer skills and cannot take constructive feedback. We are not in our native land to speak rudely with your repeat customers! I am afraid I will have to find another place to buy my meat.

Please start keeping Ashoka nans, far better than others, they have large varieties ie, garlic, normal, methti etc etc and also lacha paratha, which is amazing.in taste and quality. Deep nan sucks. I have to go to Iqbal's just to buy these nan, which is four times the distance from my house compared to your store.

This place has great variety of desi and Arab grocery. Meat shop is clean, and meat is thoroughly cleaned of all fat. Staff is very nice and cooperative, and helpful. I have seen so many rude desi customers but staff manages them well, and "appropriately." Our regular grocery store!

So sad. We placed an order 24 hours before for them to pack 19 bags of 2 lb ground beef to be ready at 1:00 today. I told them it's for charity, we were going to distribute with Fitr. I called them at 1 to make sure order is ready. SubhanAllah, they told me they are too busy and can only give me 38lb of beef in 1 bag and that I can sort it myself. I said I gave you enough notice to do it and how can I measure it.. He said how will I measure.. So shocking, coming from a butcher shop. We had to scramble last minute and order from someone else.. pay higher price. Owner should be ashamed of this kind of behaviour. What is a Muslim without their word. Not ordering from them again.

Recently bought goat leg, 8 pounds and I found four pieces of chicken inside my pack and some liver pieces too, which I have never seen in my life when you order goat leg. Have been calling to inform them about the same, but they don't pick phone. Just disappointed to find a mix of chicken n liver in my goat leg. Hope you will be careful and not do this with other customers. Editing after another visit, got similar two pieces of something which wasnt related to goat leg. I thought they are the best and its ok if once such a mistake happens but thought should add in here that it happened again.

I have been coming to apna farm since I was 13 years old. I knew Aunty and uncle pretty well since there first location on Delaware . I came in today at 8:15 I went to the meat guys in the back and one Arabic staff member told me wait . So I started shopping . So when it came to my time I was told by the same guy rudely I am not gonna take the skin out for you. I was getting 15 pounds of chicken . The guy had a attitude like he hates his job. I obviously need it clean an cut. I looked at him and asked is this location still owned by the orginal owners as Uncle would not let this occur. I had this Pakistani guy looking at me and I told him you will loose a hundred customers by not showing any customer service. He said you can't stop business coming in. What he didn't realize I have more then 150 family member and 100 employees shop at that location . I also know his older brother since I was 15 as he looked like younger version of his brother. I got into verbal argument with him he came right to my face to fight me. The staff is there and saw what happen. He is more then welcome to come fight me out side the location as I have respect for Aunty and Uncle. Give apna farm the business but don't by meat from there guy. Go to Kabul meat shop instead where they open there doors for customers that are using them for years.

Clean, nice and always overcrowded in current pandemic because of very small footprint. Mousa bhai, and bhabi ,if you ever see her, are very courteous. Old location lady offered almost same level of courtesy. Staff is ok but personal touch is missing (in case you need for any issue resolution). Mousa bhai now needs next level delegation because of his commitment to 2nd location as well. It is a must to keep both his loyal customer base and level of CS.

Not bad, clean organized shop that sells Arabic & and other Asian groceries. Also they sells Halal meat and chicken along with different types of bread and sweets It is a pricey grocery shop but still in range as other similar shops. On the other hand, some items were without price tag and the price will be specified by the owner at the cashier. Finally, they will charge you $0.50 if you used debit or visa for purchase under $10! (Ridiculous Policy).

Definitely a store for people seeking halal items, but prices are overwhelming high, I was aghast to learn a packet of supari of 48 sachets cost CAD 7.00 that is Rs.19 per sachet, ie, 2000% higher than in Pakistan. That's pure looting.

This place is amazing. I buy all my meats from them for more than 5 years. They have always provided me with best meat and great customer service. Always have a great recommendation for what part of beef/veal/ lamb to select for different dishes. I like cooking different recipe and I can always find the specific cut of meat that I am looking for.

Came here a second time for halal brisket for friend. 8lb for 55, a little pricier than average. Quality gone down, the whole cut looked like a flat, that's how small and lean the point was. Cook ended up being drier. Also, butcher seems to trim it well, but after pricing he turns around and cuts off a big chunk off (spot with the purple stamp/label). Don't price the meat if you're gonna cut an additional chunk off, that's godam dishonest pricing/inflation. I expect you to cut off the purple label off first before pricing. I've seen other butchers like whole foods cut everything right in front of you and if you don't like it they'll gladly get another cut (not halal though) Another thing is this store has a really potent smell, and so potent it penetrates the meat. Out of curiosity I trimmed a small slice of the meat off and boiled it. The meat carries that same potent smell and taste to it. Quite unpleasant. Last time I'm coming here.

There is a LITTLE guy with a Napoleon complex in the meat department. He will not serve you when it is your turn if he knows you do not belong to his country of origin or community. He has ruined the reputation of the store and we will NEVER again shop here because of this guys prejudice. Get him out of your store. You don't need people like that in your store.

Meat quality is amazing pricing is great too, but they do not follow covid pre cautions, when I mentioned to the cashier she got offended and raised her voice when I told her 1 of the employee not wearing face mask. She says to me aren't you gonna cook the meat. So imagine no mask and serving meat!!
